Always such a great cafe to catch up with friends over drinks and desserts. I really like how late cafe abundance is usually opened until because I am the type to always want something sweet after a good meal. Because of this reason and because their desserts are always great, I find myself coming back again and again! This time I got the mango bingsoo and the cookie butter croffle which were both delicious! Their bingsoo is always so fluffy which I really like and the mango flavor is super strong as well so it doesn't feel like I'm having plain bingsoo once I get to the middle. The croffles from here are always sooo good. They're so chewy and warm which was super comforting for the cold weather that has been going on recently. This place is self service so the only interaction you have with the staff is when ordering. They are always super patient and helpful. The cute cafe has quite a bit of seats as well but because it is pretty popular around the area, it does fill up quite quickly.
Pretty dessert and coffee cafe. The ice cream concoctions with warm waffles will satisfy any sweet tooths. The Hawaiian coffee is fragrant and delish. Personally I think desserts are on the pricey side. They open late and the place is clean. A cup of ice cream was about $11.
Got the Binsaa, the Original one tastes the best! The Strawberry one was way too sour!! We had to wait at least 30 mins for them to make it! Pretty pricey!!! Ambiance was nice & pretty busy as well!!
Love that it's a cafe and dessert spot, which means you can come here to do work, have coffee and or pastry during the day and at night you came here for dessert post dinner. Plenty of seating and great lighting for The bingsu here is nice and milky. The scoop of ice cream is light and creamy. While the mangoes were sweet, it was probably over ripen from the darkening color. It's a nice treat for those of you with a sweet tooth.
This cafe is the best, perfect dessert spot. I adored it as soon as I stepped in. Bright, good amount of seating and has a variety on their menu ranging from coffee to dessert. We grabbed the cute window spot in the front that offered perfect lighting and ambiance to our dessert after lunch nearby. Ordered a matcha soft serve and plain croffle with vanilla ice cream. It took a little bit but they give you a little buzzer so you know when your order is ready. The matcha soft serve was good but better to because I was nearly matcha'd out by the time I was done. My favorite was the croffle because it was literally the best croffle I've had and I have tried many. The size was giant. The drizzle and ice cream with all the other things added on top of it sealed the deal. Every bite was heaven. Can you sense that I really enjoyed it? Prices can be steep, as with everything else in this economy. Two desserts racked up $26. Ouch. But if you're looking for a cute, cozy and modern cafe spot, this is it.
Came here with friends for dessert after kbbq. Ordered the matcha bingsu and mango bingsu. This was a perfect refreshing/light dessert after a long hot day. The mango was our favorite. My only gripe would be that if you order matcha and mango, to have the matcha first. Otherwise, it will taste bland with the mango binsu. Both are still so good and highly recommend. This will definitely be my go to spot for bingsu.
I went to Cafe Auburndale and it was absolutely delicious. The space is pretty large with a beautiful seating area, and they have a wide variety on their menu. I got a dulce de leche hot latte and a Biscoff cookie butter hot latte, and both were amazing. The coffee was delicious and they do such a beautiful design on top. Honestly, it was stunning. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be going back.
Cute and bright spot to hang out with friends. Not the biggest fan of bingsu myself--feels like it's loaded with calories--but my friends shared the mango one and seemed to enjoy it. I do wish they'd tone down the cream a bit. I ordered the rose hibiscus tea, but it was too bland and lacked any real tea flavor. The decor is cozy and inviting, and the service was fast and friendly. I'd love to see the menu expanded with more savory snack options and a wider variety of boba drinks.
Love this cafe, probably my third time here. They have unique drink flavors that are actually GOOD!!!!! I believe they are korean inspired, I cant wait to try everything on the menu. The bingsu is always a hit, and every flavor latte I've tried is delicious & magical. I've tried the sweet potato latte, cold brew einspanner (summer special?), and genmaicha latte. LOVED ALL OF THEM. SO FUN AND TASTY, the flavors actually work well with each other. Whenever I come I have no problem finding seating, even if I have to wait around for 5 mins. This area is easy to park if you are driving. The music is on the louder side but the cafe is spacious for working / studying. There are a couple tables with access to outlets & wifi works well here. Perfect WFH spot.
I asked for this custom creation!!! Originally it was just matcha all the way. I asked for strawberry toppings for an extra fee. It turned out spectacular!!!!
I've been coming here for years. Love it. It's such a cute clean cafe. Lots of people come here to study. Staff is polite. All the food and pastries are delicious. I'm fond of the soft serve. I wish they would do single serve for their bingsu, it's phenomenal.
Came a few weeks back but really enjoyed everything here! The space itself is very big with seating all along the shop and in the back - I definitely see people spending a half day here or more as they have all the food, drinks and dessert you can possibly want and need. We ordered drinks and dessert while waiting for a table which we were able to get as our orders were being made. I got the strawberry matcha latte and we shared two bingsus. For the bingus, they also offer little cups for sharing purposes which was a nice touch! My matcha drink was a tad sweet but still thoroughly enjoyed it. We got the strawberry bingu and the milk bingu. Both were super delicious and refreshing. Overall, everything was good and would come back again!
I ordered a seasonal drink, the pistachio cream latte. All the pistachio flavouring was in the cream itself, so you got a taste of the pistachio as you sipped. However, the latte was still lacking. The espresso was nothing special and the pistachio flavour needs to be bolder. I did like the crushed up pieces of nut on top of the cream. I also ordered the plain croffle (croissant waffle), which comes topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of maple syrup, cinnamon and powdered sugar. I wouldn't necessarily describe it as plain, but it was absolutely delicious. I will be coming back to try the other flavours. My friend had the chocolate lava cake, and we both agreed the ones in the Trader Joe's frozen section are way better. The croffle or the waffles are definitely the way to go if you come here. The decor is cute and the cafe was clean. There's a quiet space if you're looking to work there and an outdoor seating space in the back. read more
Cafe Auburndale is sleek and modern. And they have good lighting. With a nice selection of food and drinks. You get your food enjoyed in a reasonable time. The only reason I gave a three stars instead of four, is because I find a lot of people just sitting on the laptop and phone doing work Sometimes. You can't find a chair. You could see the drink is water down, but they are not leaving. Kind of like a hang-out spot. read more
Cute, sleek and bright cafe on northern. Came in on a Friday night and there was barely any seating left. It was very packed surprisingly. I got their latte and it was pretty good. We ordered their green tea croffle which I thought was just okay. The ice cream tasted amazing with strong green tea flavor but the croffle didn't do it for me. An aesthetic Korean-styled cafe tucked away in Auburndale, Flushing, with free wifi, ample seating, clean restroom, and a wide assortment of drinks and desserts. I have yet to try their desserts, but their coffee is decent and their lattes are especially delicious. Highly recommend the strawberry, chai, or matcha! 7/10 good for studying or getting work done. I'm not gonna lie: the wifi although free, kinda sucks. I've had pages fail to load or load very slowly, and it only gets worse when the cafe is crowded. read more

Came here an hour before closing and it was pretty packed on a Friday night. A lot of younger folks, pregame hangout? The matcha Oreo Croffle is real good when it's fresh. Have to eat it quick, it's soggy after 5 mins because of the ice cream on top of it. The matcha bingsoo is also really good and refreshing. I love the mochi nuggets that came with it. The red bean paste between the matcha ice cream and ice shaving is thick and too sweet for me. We came after dinner and 3 of us shared this. Bingsoo is pretty big. Bathroom is clean. I have lost count on how many times we have had Shaved Ice/Bingsoo from Cafe Auburndale. We have tried several Bingsoo places around the neighborhood and yet Cafe Auburndale is the one that has the best texture & flavor. Our to go flavors are usually Mango or Strawberry. On the third picture, they ran out of matcha flavor ice cream so we chose to replace it with strawberry ice cream instead. Their Bingsoo never disappoints! We love how fluffy the shaved ice is! read more
A great wfh place in the area! They recently added back their free wifi and this place has a lot of tables, outlets, and a bathroom. The portion sizes are pretty big for each dish, so it is recommended that you shared with another person or two for these! The music can get a bit loud here, as well as the waves of crowds that come throughout the day and night, so put that into consideration if you're trying to come here to get work done. Other than that, it is a great, spacious place to go with friends as there are multiple tables and lots of seating. Interior decoration is pretty modern and clean too! read more

Super cute and clean place! Their bingsoo is to die for. It's so fluffy and had just the right amount of matcha flavor. Plus, they pack on the toppings so there's enough to go around. Ambiance is wonderful. Perfect for a study date or a break from the heat. It's decorated beautifully so it's also a perfect photo op. Cafe Auburndale is a great place for dessert! The Mango Bingsoo is the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess. The Berry Croffle - a combination of crispy croissant and berries. The ice cream on top goes so well with the warm croffle. The ambiance is cozy, in warmer weather they have outdoor seating! There's plenty of plugs if you need to study/work. The service is great. A definite must-visit for anyone craving desserts and a chill atmosphere. Can't wait to come back for more! read more
Another cute cafe to spend your afternoon at doing work. We got the mango bingsoo, matcha Oreo croffle, and rose hibiscus tea. The bingsoo was rather expensive and the mangos when I went weren't good. I would definitely get another flavor if I went again. The croffle was good. Alright, friends, here's the scoop... Cafe Auburndale is an absolute gem! If you haven't been yet, you're missing out. Whether I'm looking for a place to WFH, catching up with friends, or on a date, this place never disappoints. The service is always good. Their coffee is always on point and the desserts are simply divine. They don't serve food, but who cares when the coffee is good? Don't beeee shy! Give it a try ! My friend and I got here around 8:15 on a Monday, and the place was honestly packed! And we were bringin' up the average age by far, haha. We felt very hip. The menu is actually on the smaller side, but you'll find something sweet to satisfy you. The bingsoo, while looking awesome, seemed actually quite large. And I'm not sure I could stomach the price. So instead, we got soft serve for just under $10 each. Ok, also seems expensive, but they were huge! The matcha soft serve was a delight and very refreshing. Don't forget to check out the seating outside in the back. There's actually a ton more seating in their cute garden in the back. They definitely seemed a bit overwhelmed at this hour. We had to wait a bit to order, and the two gals at the counter were rushing to catch up on orders. The space was rather clean given the crowd that stayed pretty consistent the rest of the time we were there. read more

came back to study more. we got the: -expresso -white chocolate mocha -hot chocolate -cookie butter croffle (my fav) the hot chocolate and white chocolate mocha were okay. i like to try different items everytime i go. stick with the white chocolate and latte but overall still one of my favorite spots. read more

Super cute spot with delicious goodies. The aesthetic is very sleek and modern. The lighting is amazing. Even when we went at night, it was super bright. Tons of sweet treats are in the display case, and while and they have a nice drink menu as well. I asked for a decaf tea and amazingly they have a whole list of their teas with a chart that shows which teas have caffeine and which ones don't. Jumping ahead, I ordered a mint iced tea to go and it was perfect for ending the day and after a heavy meal. With friends, we decided to order a few things to split. The Mango Bingsoo (sooooooo delicious) the Very Berry Croffle, and some Dalgona soft serve. Each dessert was just as good as the next. The croffle was surprisingly warm underneath the whipped cream and ice cream. They also have a pager system which I think is super cool as well! Will definitely head back over soon. Cafe Auburndale is a very cute cafe. I don't particularly like their coffees as they tend to be more fruity and sour. Their soft serve and bingsoos are good, though. I usually get the soft serve affrogato. The service is a little slow, but they give you a buzzer. There are a lot of tables and booths, but this place is always popping. It's never a long wait to get a table as the turnaround is quick. read more

Hmmm... what is dessert for tonight? Off we go to this cute cafe. My first experience with Korean Bingsu was phenomenal. Crossing my fingers off that the experience here will surpass. The serving is huge when I am seeing the order size that's being picked up. I told my husband that I am willing just to share with him and try partially what my niece will get. We ordered strawberry and matcha flavors. Amazing how this machine shred the ice as fine as it looks. It took about 5 minutes when our "order ready" indicator device lighted up. Am I satisfied? Yes but the excitement was not the same as in my first try. Is it the flavor we picked? Probably. It is as not as sweet as I had before. Enjoyed the mochi that is in the bowl. I actually finished most of it. Super like the ambiance of the place. Super white. Super clean. Super neat. Super cool. read more
Came here on a Monday night with a friend and it was PACKED. I did not expect it to be that packed. We both ordered soft serve - I ordered the dalgona and she ordered the matcha. Both were good, but the dalgona chunks were GIANT. After eating so many dalgona chunks I sadly could barely eat the soft serve! This is also likely a soft serve that would be shareable with 2 people. I wanted to try this place again so I decided to venture out with my family over the weekend. Before going, I called to ask if the ice cream had eggs in it as my child has an allergy. The phone call wasn't great, and I wish the person had been more friendly on the phone. It was enough to raise a red flag so I asked about it while there in person over the weekend. The person at the counter went and checked the ingredient list and confirmed that it didn't have egg. Feeling reassured, we ordered the strawberry bingsoo and it was giant. My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 small children) finished it, but it definitely took some effort. The outdoor patio in the back is great and comfortable. We definitely got bit while being back there, but they do have bug zappers in an effort to not get bit by as many. I would definitely go back. read more

This is such a cute and chill spot with ample seating inside and outside - great for a date or to study! The backyard patio is a hidden gem on Northern Boulevard! Upon the suggestion of the cashier, I tried the milk bingsoo. It was so refreshing - a unique blend of textures between the snow-like ice, the chewy mochi, the thick red bean paste, and the crunch of slivered almonds. I look forward to coming back in the summer and trying more treats! read more

Idk why but from the outside I thought it was a hair salon every time I walked past. Anyway, I heard a lot of good things about Cafe Auburndale especially their bingsoo/shaved ice. My friend and I decided to go here for dessert. We got the mango bingsoo and chocolate lava cake. I enjoyed the bingsoo a lot more than the lava cake. The cake itself was okay but it was a little dense for my own taste and the lava part was more poured on top of the cake rather than it oozing out from inside. The bingsoo was soft fluffy and refreshing! The service was nice even though they were so busy. They were still friendly and efficient. The space was bright and spacious. This is the perfect late night study spot. They are open until late. Theirs good drinks. Theirs outlets everywhere. The walls have hooks to hold your bag. There's a spacious back outdoor space with small and big tables. The decor is nice and clean. Everything you need checks out. I WISH I lived next door because I would be here from 8:30 am when they open to 10pm when they close because this place is just *chef's kiss* Everything is so elegant and sophisticated aesthetically. The menu is extensive with pastries, waffles, croffles, signature lattes, bingsoo, etc so there's PLENTY to choose from. great to bring friends to (as I did) and share a bunch of things. Staff was really sweet. The waffle was ENORMOUS. I had low expectations because waffles tend to disappoint but this waffle wasn't dense in the least and was instead light, fluffy, and airy. It was topped with a thick layer of whipped marscapone cream chocolate sauce and the ice cream scoop on top was HUGE. My only complaint about this was that the artificial taste of the chocolate detracted from the freshness of everything else. The croffle was the best croffle I've ever had. It was warm and soft and pulled apart perfectly. You just need to try it. It'll blow your mind. I could've eaten the entire thing alone. I sure wanted to. I also had a biscoff latte but it didn't taste anything like biscoff so that was meh. But everything else was A1. read more
Ordered the very berry croffle- basically a hybrid of a croissant and waffle. Tasted pretty good, but it took a long time to make. This is a self service kind of place where you get a buzzer and find your own seating. They have lots of space in the back as well as a cool patio. There is definitely a coffee shop vibe, with lots of power outlets for people to charge their phone or laptop to do work or study. read more

You know I'm not a big lover of sweets or the ice bowls, but man this place is yummy. They use milk to make this. This is so creamy and fluffy kinda of ice cream. I like how that go layer or layer. I love the fresh fruits like mango and strawberries This is not overly sweet but just so good. Man on a hot or warm day this would really hit the spot. Even on chiller days I like coming here. They also offer some other type of deserts but the mango bowl is what I really love. read more

Came here for a quick dessert and enjoyed it a lot. The decor reminds me of the cute cafes in Korea with modern decor. They were blasting kpop. The menu is extensive, ranging from bingsu to croffles. We ordered a Mango bingsu which was a bed of milk-shaved ice, doused with mango syrup and topped with vanilla bean ice cream and mango cubes. Overall, this was a very refreshing dessert and definitely worth the pain from being lactose intolerant. My only complaint is that the mangos weren't sweet and fresh enough. read more
Came at 9:30 on a Saturday night. They don't close till 10:30p but they mentioned that the kitchen and snow machine is off. Only drinks, soft serves, and whatever baked goods they had left at the front. We ordered the Dalgona Soft serve and the Affogato. Didn't think we need a buzzer for it, but sure why not. Definitely lots of seat in the back if you have larger groups. Can sit outside as well if you feel uncomfortable in close quarters. Bathroom needs a code. So PLEASE save your receipt. The Dalgona soft serve was definitely interesting. It has that hint of caramel/buttery texture that goes well with their ice cream. The Affogato is probably my choice. That shot of expresso in their soft serve definitely hits the spot when you feeling low on energy. Great combo of that bitter sweetness to it. I only dropped a star cause of service. In this industry you got to feel like you wanna be there to make people wanna be there. But, on a Sat. night on summers season. I'm sure they rather be out and about bopping their heads at a club lol. *Yes, I'z old man*. The 2 young men behind the counter were more helpful. Thank you for that. The kids asked for shaved ice. Searching on Yelp, I found Cafe Auburndale. Instead of shaved ice, they had .... Shaved Ice cream?! Ambience: a very bright modern cafe, with some wood animal puzzle type decorations. They have electrical outlets at many of the tables, so you can recharge your gadgets. Food: the shaved ice cream (bingsoo) was a hit with the kids. The texture is lighter than regular ice cream, with a fluffy airy texture. This allows for visually large bowls of ice cream that are actually lighter than 2 scoops at BR31 Service: order at the counter and pick up when they call you. TL/DR: Shaved Ice cream is great as it is smooth, yet lighter than regular ice cream. At $15 a bowl, it's not necessarily my go to place for a quick ice cream fix. read more
