There were diners there sharing one large shaved ice and I assumed most of the dessert soups would be just as big. But usually Chinese desserts are not overly rich or heavy. The staff said that they could switch out the Durian for extra mango, but they were nice enough to pack a little bit of Durian on the side for me to dry - and no! The whole dessert doesn't smell like durian. Everything was packed extremely well - the liquid was in its own little dispensing pouch. Very nice attention to detail. Pandan is an herby vanilla flavor from Southeast Asian. I think The noodles were made out of rice flour? It was like a soft creamy pudding thick noodle. You can easily scoop into them alongside the mango, coconut milk, sago pearls. Every part of the dessert was very fresh and not too sweet! Had to control the late night snack, and save the rest for the next day. Don't think this kept well, there was a lot of liquid that seeped out of the tapioca pearls or noodles (delicious pandan flavor still!)? But it still wasn't too stiff the next day. Excited to try as other items like the ginger, milk, pudding, but I think I made an excellent choice with this dish, and the price point seemed high at first, but each ingredient to be made fresh on the same day.
