    Mango Shaved Ice
    Ingrid C.

Got the mango shaved ice! The ice was soo nice and fluffy and everything paired well together. It wasn't the best shaved ice I've had, but they give you a good serving enough for 3-4 people for $16. The inside was nicely decorated and is a great study place too.

Came here on a rainy Saturday to kill some time and was surprised at how big it was inside. We sat in a booth and were told that we were able to order using the QR code on the table. We decided to get the Grass Jelly and Mixed Bean shaved ice to share between 2 people. The portion was honestly pretty big but I felt like the proportion of ice to toppings were completely off. There was only a tiny bit of red bean and grass jelly compared to the enormous amount of shaved ice so it felt like I was eating mostly ice some times. The ice cream was also more icey than creamy. Could have been an off day but I'd maybe come back and try another dessert.

Went here with two others after dinner and I liked how the seats were booth style. We sat at a spacious table booth and ordered mango bingsoo and taro sweet ball with milk. the mango bingsoo was refreshing, although I hoped there was more mango. The taro with milk dessert was delicious- not too sweet and I enjoyed the different mochi and tapioca textures with what seemed like a tofu pudding.

They were open really late, which was perfect for my friend and I who were still up at the time. The server was super friendly and chatted with us briefly. The dessert was really delicious and cute too. The shaved ices are big, and they can feed a group of 3. We ordered the milk tea shaved ice, a recommendation from the server, and we asked them to add a silly face on top, which they did :)

Nice ambiance, not over crowded or loud. The rose milk shaved ice was delicious and plenty large enough for 2 to share. The shaved ice, coconut cream, ice cream, and boba accompaniment complemented each other splendidly.

A really cool spot for dessert and to hang out with something other than alcoholic drinks. There are many options for desserts but I went with the bread filled with Taro ice cream and milk bubbles It was a very good option and different than the traditional desserts outside of China town flushing . Be careful with the two dispensers on the table, one is hand sanitizer and the other one is syrup for pancakes. If you are dumb like me and don't read the labels, you will have a not so happy experience rubbing sticky syrup on your hands

This place has nice ambience and quick service. Food is ok but it's a bit pricey. We came here because the nearby Prince tea house was packed. Good for hanging out but price is high for the quality.

Huge place with a lot of cute artwork and decor, but the whole restaurant smelled like sewage water. The seats were falling apart in the booth and I honestly would not have been surprised if something crawled out of it. There's so much potential with the space, but I felt like it wasn't very well maintained. Their menu had a pretty vast selection of dessert, but it seems like their popular ones are the shaved ices. We ordered the mango snow shaved ice and for a $1 upgrade, you can get a face on any of the ices. Upgrade isn't really worth it at all, but we did it anyway ~*for the gram*~. The shaved ice was pretty good, but not really worth the price. Feel like there's a lot of other dessert options in Flushing, so I probably wouldn't come here again.

Highly recommend this. So very tasty. I loved every bit of this restaurant and the dessert was so delicious. The service was prompt and the restaurant was cozy. I highly recommend this in NYC!

Big yikes - super overpriced desserts, way too sweet, and very limited service. We came for dessert with my boyfriend's family given this is one of the few places in Flushing that can sit 10. There's QR codes on the table to scan and place your order, so there's really barely any service. We didn't get water or any explanations whatsoever. The desserts themselves are decently sized (I would hope so given its price), but still doesn't justify nearly $17 for a shaved ice, or $13.50 for a mango pomelo sago. Also, close to $10 for a latte???? A bit pricey, no? Our mango pomelo sago was so sickeningly sweet that my boyfriend and I struggled to finish even 1 dessert between the both of us. A few perfectly ripe mango pieces in the dessert tasted flavorless in comparison. Everyone in our group had similar complaints. For our group of 10 (with some sharing desserts), the bill came out to about $125 with tax and tip.

I stopped here for boba tea late at night by accident lol. I actually walked in without knowing what the business was and when I noticed milk tea, I got myself one because why not? I got the brown sugar boba milk tea and that was about 10$ for a small size. They do use whole milk but considering the cost and price, I am not sure it's a good value for what you get. Service was good, the staff was helpful in explaining what they use as I asked. There seems to have been a fire in the building so most of the businesses that used to operate there are no longer active and so it was pretty empty here when I went by. The ambience was quiet as a result. I'd go back if In the area again.

Good menu selection and a good place for shaved ice. Interesting menu & you can make your own as well. Only complaint is that the restaurant has a foul smell when you initially walk in, but after being there for a while you kind of get used to it

Ube icecream sandwich with mango popping bubbles and strawberries

Flower and Desert is a bit pricey since it closes way later than all the other dessert spots in Flushing. My friends and I came here around 10 PM on a Wednesday. It was quiet, clean, and peaceful. I could see this being a great place to study. The desserts came shortly after we ordered and paid through our phones. It is a bit confusing when it comes to the ordering process. We ordered brown sugar bubble tea, mango jelly, an ice cream ube sandwich with mango jelly, strawberry, and a milk tea shaved ice with boba, milk tea tofu, and ice cream. The highlight of this spot is the shaved ice desserts. We all shared the shaved ice dessert and the mango jelly dessert, but by far the best was the shaved ice. The bubble tea is not worth it especially knowing all the places in Flushing that are far cheaper and possibly better, but when it's 10 PM and all the bubble tea shops are closed, this is what you have to settle for. Good, but overpriced bubble tea. If you only have money for one dessert, get the shaved ice and share it with your friends!

Cuisine: 6 Service: 7…read moreDecor: 4 Value: 7 I have not been here in a long time. Maybe because the prices are no longer considered cheap eats. Or maybe because my taste buds have evolved over the years. Or maybe it's just not as good as it used to be. The answer is maybe all three and somewhere in the middle. I have never came here, or any other Latino-Chinese restaurants in NYC, for service or decor, so let's set that aside. The value is still somewhat there, but the food did not hit that nostalgic note I was looking for. I wanted to get the Fried Pork Chops (Chuletas De Cerdo Frita), but our server suggested the "juicier" Broiled Pork Chops (Chuletas De Credo Asada) instead. Sorry to report, if that's juicy, then how dry is the fried pork chops? I shutter at the thought. It was also under seasoned. I substituted the House Fried Rice for my side at an $4.50 additional fee. It was just okay and not worth the upgrade. Boneless Crispy Fried Chicken (Chicharron De Pollo) was also a disappointment. The batter was more hard than crispy, but the idea that boneless dark meat isn't more juicy simply tells me that the chef over fried the pieces. It came with Fried sweet plantains, which could have been a but more ripe but not bad. I'm not sure how I feel about the Beef Stew (Carne Guisada), which had relatively tender meat, but the sauce was so weak and lacked any real flavor. The black beans and white rice that came with it was decent. What might bring me back to this restaurant sooner rather than later was the Shrimp Egg Foo Young (foo Young Con Camarones). I felt that the eggs were cooked extremely well, but the star of the show was that delicious brown sauce full of umami. Having this over white or fried rice made this meal much more acceptable. I'm not sure when I'll have another craving for this type of food. If I do, I'll definitely get the egg foo young again. However, the other dishes were misses for me, so maybe I'll try the Fried Pork Chops and Shredded Beef in Tomato SayceRopa Vieja.

It's amazing to step into this restaurant, it's like stepping into another world where anything is possible. I feel like home whenever I come here. My favorable dishes are the combo dishes because I can choose fried rice or noodles or French fries with a meat usually, Yummylicious to the core!

I ordered the cured pork with garlic shoots and dry fried green beans. The cured pork was quite salty, and paired well with the buttery, tender leeks it was cooked with. The dish was not overly oily, and was pleasant over white rice. I enjoyed the chewiness of the pork which allowed you to experience the complex flavor. The green beans were well fried, with characteristic texture signature to this dish. The seasoning was very well balanced and not overpowering to the natural sweetness of the green beans. I would recommend either dish. They were both slightly toned down iterations when compared to the times I've eaten these dishes at other Sichuan restaurants in flushing, but still well seasoned and well cooked. The service was very warm and friendly, and many other customers seemed to be returning regulars.

Warning to all with a pineapple allergy like me: do not eat the duck sauce. If you like spicy ask for hot mustard instead. Orange chicken was crispy and flavorful. I did not find it spicy, but my spice tolerance is very high. My fiance had the chicken with broccoli and it looked amazing. Try the cold noodles. They are chewy and delicious. For me the fried dumplings were good, but not great. Worth a try but nothing to rave over.
