Fresh pasta, packed cup, quick service--but I wanted more sauce and a little pepper-flake attitude. Then Elios came in like the hero of the story. I went with Ferrero Rocher, Biscoff Caramel & Cookie Monster topped with Oreos, cookie crunch, lava chocolate & whipped cream. Basically, I stopped pretending I had self-control. I love the grab-and-go setup. I can definitely see myself grabbing a couple cups and heading to Astoria Park for a picnic lunch. In and out in about 10 minutes. Perfect when you're hungry, impatient, and have places to be. Final verdict: Pasta was alright. That sundae? She understood the assignment.

Oh my goodness, the aroma that welcomed me was enough to lure me into overindulgence. Elio's has it all covered in the sweet treats category. They have brownies, cookies, crepes, donuts, ice cream sundaes and banana splits. I sampled the CocoMelon flavor which is vanilla ice cream with Skittles and was absolutely delicious. I ordered the donut with Froot Loops and asked to have strawberry glaze drizzled on the top. The donut was delicious and my colleagues enjoyed it as well. The business is bright and welcoming. Staff were friendly. There is plenty of tables and seating for dine in options. I'm glad that I decided to stop by and check them out. *There are two other locations in Astoria and Manhattan.*

The space is simple, but elegant. The counter clearly displays the toppings being offered along with the price of each. Yes the price is high, but the quality is there. While the finished product you receive doesn't look like much, it is more than you think and quite hearty. The yogurt itself is smooth creamy and delicious. I opt'd for the PB Kadaif and chocolate chips. Everything worked so well together and it was just scrumptious. Don't eat it too quickly bc it is cold, so watch out for a potential brain freeze. All in all, I would definitely get it again.

This is their second location, with the original one being on Driggs in Greenpoint. In terms of the place, I do wish there were a display with all the ice creams, and it was a bit cramped. They serve pretty classic flavors, and the scoops were pretty big, with a single being $5 or $4.50 for soft serve, and I am curious/unsure if you can split flavors or not. I went with a double, which was $7, which was massive. For the flavors, I went with the seasonal, which was Maine Wild Blueberry, and my other flavor was Pistachio. In general, the ice cream wasn't overly sweet and was creamy. The blueberry was excellent, with some pieces of chopped blueberry and a mild, pleasant tartness. It was excellent overall. At first, I regretted ordering the pistachio as it was bright green and looked very artificial. However, the flavor wasn't overly sweet, and there were plenty of pieces inside. I preferred the blueberry, but it was still tasty. I tried a bit of the other people's flavors, which were all tasty as well. For standard flavors, the Coffee was solid, and another person enjoyed the Moose Tracks. In terms of vegan ice cream, there is a Black Raspberry With Chocolate Chip, and one other flavor. The black raspberry was nice as well, with it being a bit less creamy, of course, but the texture was a lot better than most vegan options. This is a tasty new ice cream place, and I expect them to get good business. Would recommend if you are in the area.

I believe Arcobaleno was formerly known as Dovetail Bakery in Sunnyside & the cardamom buns were popular back then & hopefully now as well. I was surprised because these buns are truly incredible (way better than Fabrique Bakery which specializes in buns) but I understand as it's a gelato place. I have also tried the passionfruit macadamia bar & sourdough bread from here which are both great, but nothing beats those divine buns IMHO. If you happen to be in Sunnyside, 110% try one as you won't regret it!
