I stopped by a while ago for their BOGO deal on the green apple cloud jasmine coconut and violet blossom jasmine latte after seeing a post about it. The drink prices were similar to other tea shops in the area. They had samples by the register to try. I think next time I'll give the apple jasmine iced tea drinks a try too. I added the cheese foam layer to my green apple drink and it made the drink slightly salty? I think I'm just not a fan of cheese foam topping. It tasted like apple milk tea. The violet blossom jasmine latte I went with the recommended less sugar but I think I would go with slightly higher sugar level for my drinks in the future as it wasn't quite as sweet as I preferred. Good for thsoe who like their drinks on the less sweet (almost no sugar?) side. The violet blossom flavor is much stronger than the jasmine tea and the floral flavor wasn't my cup of tea. I liked that the menu states which drinks are caffeine free and that they automatically pack the drinks in a cooler bag for take out orders. read more

One of a couple of tea places in 99 Ranch food court. They focused too much on apple flavor when they first opened, but now they are offering other fresh fruit flavors, which is way better. I tried the melon milk tea, which was surprisingly tasty. There are samples of the tea for you to try. They use no artificial flavors, syrups or concentrates. Cane sugar is used for sweetness. This place is for cold drinks. They do have a few hot drinks, but my friend tried them and didn't like it. I suggest for hot drinks, go elsewhere. Plenty of seating in the food court. Next time I'm here, I am definitely trying their regular fruit based green teas. The business is so kind and always has free samples. I took one and loved it. I came back the other day and got an Apple jasmine milk tea. This was not my cup of tea, both literally and metaphorically. I think it was too light on the tea base/ fruit essence and was too milky. It was a hot summer day so my friends and I were looking for a cold, refreshing drink. We decided to check this place out since they had a deal, BOGO (buy one get one free) for their watermelon drinks. I ordered the watermelon tea with less sugar, less ice, and crystal boba. The service was friendly but you could only get the discount at the cashier, not the iPad kiosk so that took longer. The watermelon tea drink was very refreshing and I could tell they used real watermelon, not powder. It was also not too sweet which is the ultimate Asian compliment. Came back again to try out some different combos of their Red Apple Jasmine Teas. Firstly, I am not a huge fan of cheese foam but this green apple cheese foam is really good! It is not salty at all and has a very nice tarty flavor to it. The Red Apple Jasmine Milk Green Tea was very nice as well. I would definitely get it again but it is hard to say that I this is better than the version without milk. If I remember correctly they said they don't use syrup for their flavoring and it is all from real apple juice. It tasted very fresh and clean so I decided to give it a try. I got the large red apple milk juice with the green apple cream foam on top (extra +$1). It was delicious and creamy. The large drink itself was almost $10. I don't think I would crave apple juice milk enough to pay this much again but it was good to try. I found this place located in the 99 Ranch Eat Up food court off of Instagram. Herb Hook Lab has lots of interesting choices for their drinks. They had a sample of their Green Apple Jasmine drink which was what I wanted to try. It was sweet and you get both the jasmine and apple flavors. You can fully customize your drink when you order on the kiosk or by mobile. I chose to get the popping water chestnut boba. There is also an option to get an apple cold foam on top too that I didn't do. The cups come in small and large for sizes. Service was quick and you can watch on the screen when your order is ready. Tried this place for the first time, happy to see a tea place that does apple tea. I liked the 雪芽青蘋果冰茶七分糖+奶蓋 green apple jasmine green tea with less ice and less sugar 70% with foam (can do without foam as well, doesn't really add to it, the tea is good enough). Also tried紅蘋果奶茶 red apple jasmine green milk tea less ice and 70% but that felt a bit sweeter, I recommend the green one over the red. Would come back to try other teas next time. read more

I got the green apple jasmine, and as a non fruit tea lover, this was really good! It's really refreshing and the jasmine is subtle. The drink wasn't too tart or too sweet. The green apple cheese foam did taste more artificial than the drink itself, but not too bad. Apparently they only use real green apples and will remake your drinks if it's not sour/sweet enough since they can't ever be sure of the taste of the apples. I didn't confirm whether this is true or not since our friend who took us there said that's what was told to her by the owner.
