This Great Neck location is fantastic! The new owner is also the creator of Na Tart; bringing a wide variety of Portuguese Egg Tarts to Yaaas Tea! What a great collaboration! Yaaas Tea is renowned for their fresh boba; made fresh every hour, on the hour! If you've never had boba before, Yaaas Tea is the place to try it! You can customize your drinks to however you prefer! You control the amount of sugar, ice and kind of milk you prefer. There is also a wide range of toppings to add, or just have it plain. My usual go-to beverage is their iced espresso latte, which is fantastic! But on this visit, I tried: -- Iced Taro Milk Tea w.Boba: good thing I asked for no sugar because the boba was plenty sweet! The taro tea only comes with oat milk, which I was fine with but I somehow got charged an extra $1 for the oatmeal, which I thought was strange. -- 4 Egg Tarts (Dubai, Original, Creme Brulee, Nutella): all egg tarts are offered at reduced prices at the moment! Note that there is a upcharge of .60¢ for anything other than the original flavor. These egg tarts by Na Tart were flakey and eggy; everything you would want in an egg tart. The extra flavors were an added bonus. I had one the next day, straight from the fridge, and it was still great! They suggest to eat these tarts warm, or reheated the next day but having them cold was pretty good for me. Parking: plenty of metered parking available plus municipal parking lots around the corner. I stopped by YAAAS Tea for their Great Neck opening and had a great experience! Staff was so kind :) I ordered the mocha with sea salt foam, and it was absolutely delicious. The sea salt foam added the perfect creamy, slightly salty touch that paired so well with the rich mocha. I appreciated that they offer numerous milk options. I chose oat milk, and it tasted fantastic. They also have a nice selection of snacks as well, making it an easy spot to grab a quick treat or light bite. They have street parking available and a public parking lot just down the block. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth checking out! read more

Went to Yaaas Tea for an Elite Yelp event and it was our first time visiting this Great Neck gem. The place was spotless, the staff was incredibly friendly, and everything we tried was delicious. We ordered a box of assorted egg tarts along with a few drinks--the matcha was especially yummy! The egg tarts were flaky, fresh, and made for the perfect sweet treat. Awesome opening had us sample the menu. My favorites are the matcha oat milk tea with no sugar and Portuguese egg. Add the strawberries or other toppings if you want your sugar high. An incredible boba tea place serving up the freshest boba I've ever had. This is a place that cares about quality and experience. Their big bragging point is that they make fresh tapioca boba every single hour. That's huge. You can absolutely feel and taste the freshness, and it makes such a huge difference. After this, I don't know if I can go back to any other place. The owners were so wonderful to chat with and you can tell they're super passionate and care a lot. The kiosks were super easy to order through, and the staff was on hand to help if needed. As a new milk tea shop in Great Neck, YAAAS tea brings not only innovation to its drinks but also technology. With its self service ordering tablets that make ordering so much more convenient and easy to easy, and drinks made like I've never seen before. I came here on a Sunday and was very surprised to see coffee on the menu. Very unique combination that are also extremely customizable. You can choose what toppings you'd like, the amount of espresso shots you'd like in it, as well as the amount of pumps of syrup you'd like. Very unconventional to the other places I've been to. The combination of coffee and boba wasn't bad at all. I really enjoyed the texture of the boba, soft, chewy and bouncy. The coffee itself was a little watered down, but still pretty decent. There also have a large array of desserts to complement your beverage. I would say the prices here are pretty reasonable in comparison to other stores, as well as to the extend of the additional topping they add in. The service here was noteworthy. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help. Service was fast and efficient, and overall very pleasant. And while there are no seats here to sit at, the interior is very as you'd expect from any other boba shop. TLDR; good boba, decent drinks, reasonable prices, good service. read more

My son and I frequent bubble tea places and we were really excited to try this new one! From the door we were greeted (something that a lot of businesses miss these days)! I also noticed they greeted each person that came in after us. I chose to use the kiosk to place my order which was extremely user friendly. Now onto the bubble tea! I had the Taro milk tea with boba. The boba is a star here! The texture is so chewy, slippery, soft and with a nice light sweet taste. The taro taste was spot on, nutty and sweet just like I like it. My son had the Brown sugar boba tea (with oat milk since he's dairy free). Extra points for this place having oat milk as an option. He described it as tasting like a sweet brown sugar milk! Nonetheless he drank it in less than 2 minutes. Total for both drinks came out to about $15. I adored the packaging. Sleek, modern and even a bit glamorous! I definitely felt cool walking around with it after we left. My only feedback is that I would've liked to be able to sit down and hang out a bit at the place. But the quality and selection is really well done. I remember when LI used to have no boba places and I would need to trek to Queens for my fix! It seems like they are popping up all over the place! This was my first time in Yaaas and the super friendly male employee there told me this chain actually originated in LI (Farmingdale). I opted for their top seller, the Brown Sugar Bobo. Small disclaimer: I've had this beverage at a couple of places such as Tiger Sugar and never was really a fan because the drink itself doesn't have any tea or flavor except milk and the swirl of brown sugar around the cup will hopefully give that milk some flavor. I did like that this place used real milk and had great milk substitute options for those that can't have lactose. They had my favorite Oatly oat milk which already makes them a winner. The brown sugar pearls were perfectly cooked and with great flavor. As expected the drink was very milk forward. Maybe next time I will get a Latte drink with the brown sugar pearls to give the drink more flavor. Don't come at me- but I DO think their brown sugar bobo is better than tiger sugar! I also got their mango cake in the refrigerated display case ($7.50). It was light chiffon cake layers with mango mousse and whipped cream. Delicious and not too sweet. Con- street parking was difficult but I did come on a Saturday night (a busy time Middle Neck Rd). I would return! read more

Got the Iced Earl Grey Milk Tea as it was BOGO on UberEats. Also added bubbles. I doubt the bubbles were freshly made. They weren't overnight stale but they basically broke apart upon entering mouth (not in a good way). The fragrance of the earl grey tasted quite "fake?" like it was powder and not the actual tea. Overall okay rating just because price is reasonable with BOGO discount but definitely not with original price. read more

Short Review: nothing but praise here, exactly what you want/expect from a modern milk tea spot. - Love having this franchise in town. My absolute go-to for milk-based bubble tea spots--I'd confidently say they're the best boba bubbles, pound for pound, around. Cooked constantly throughout the day, aromatic, ink black, chewy and lively. Staff are exceedingly friendly and professional, and the store is clean and bright--I love that the door is literally always open. Personally do not care that they don't have chairs, because I have never sat inside a bubble tea shop to drink said bubble tea. It's in a takeout cup for a reason. Toast Takeout app ordering (and the in-store tablets) make it a breeze to order ahead and customize your drink exactly as you like. I would consider this the (good) Starbucks of bubble tea chains; endlessly reliable, comfortable, reasonably (though not cheaply) priced, and consistently satisfying. If I want a classic milk bubble tea, I come here. If I want a real fruit tea or non-milk tea (that is of a higher quality for the tea) I go to Yi Fang a few blocks down. I do not believe Tidal, TsaoCaa, or Mr. Wish are very good, IMO. Your flavor mileage likely varies on this. Special attention should be paid to YAAAS (yep, all caps, three As) having the most vegan and non-dairy options of any tea chain around. Coconut milk, oat milk, almond milk--along with the usual sliders for sugar, ice, toppings, etc. and notes for allergies. Chocolate chip cookies are surprisingly good considering it's not their priority, and the bubble cakes are worth a try if you're intrigued. Solid 5/5 read more

I don't usually write reviews but I came here to say that Yaaas Tea is now my go-to place for bubble tea. The drinks are super tasteful and not watered down like other bubble tea places. You can actually taste the tea. My favorite one is the taro milk tea with coconut milk. The regular classic milk tea is just as good too. Their bobas are super chewy. So so good that I dream about them in my sleep. I'm so happy that they opened a location in Great Neck. I normally go to the one in Farmingdale but it was always too far and I relied on Uber Eats whenever I had sudden cravings. This location is more convenient, so I will be coming here more often. When I met the owner Kelly (who is super friendly btw), she mentioned that they are opening a location in New Hyde Park next month and in Westbury in the near future. In addition to bubble tea and other delicious drinks, they also sell delicious mini cakes in cute recyclable containers. We tried the chocolate, strawberry, and mango ones and all were super good. The bubbles had a good tea taste and was the right amount of chewiness. They advertise that they make their boba fresh every hour on the hour. I am not sure if this is true but the drinks taste good.
