Been here a few times, and enjoyed it each time! Went last night with my parents and fiancé. We each got something different, and all was enjoyed. There was something for everyone and when we thought we made our decision, we saw something else that interested us. I had a delicious oatmeal raisin cookie. I was only able to eat half, and I'm looking forward to having the second half later. My fiancé had the Tiramisu, my stepdad had cookies and cream cupcake and my mom had a cookie/tart. My friend and I went here after we got some fabulous pizza from Delfiore Pizza. I have to say, not only was Rogers Dessert Bar so nice and ambient. The desserts were amazing! I got some cookies, $6 for five. Not only did the cookies taste better than the factory-made ones you get at the grocery store, but they weight them on a scale for accuracy, and the cookies were a good price too! It's funny because I went to the Famous Food Festival in Deer Park the next day and bought cookies from a random vendor, it was 3 cookies for $5. The cookies were so small and one wasn't even good. This is a really nice addition to the village as there aren't many dessert places open late. This definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. They have different flavors of icecream, an assortment of pastries, and a wall of candy. I went with a chocolate taco icecream in a cone and it was delicious. 1. OPEN LATE! Most other dessert style places in patchogue close relatively early, which is a major bummer when you've got the munchies. 2. Fairly priced, won't cost you an arm and a leg for all your sugar cravings come true. 3. Besides a bakery section, they have an entire wall of different candies and chocolates like the old school chocolate stores. A bit of nostalgia for sure. 4. AND ice cream, literally something for everyone. The interior is pretty plain but I'm sure it's a work in progress, your going to probably to grab and go here. There are two service counters, one for the candy and one for the refrigerated bakery section. Service at each counter was different but not bad. read more

After ordering on DoorDash a bunch, we figured we'd finally visit in person and I'm so glad we did! Roger is so sweet and you can tell how passionate he is about his business. The desserts are amazing, always fresh and so rich with flavor! We picked up our usual favorites (chocolate mousse and napoleons) and decided to try their milkshakes.... LOVE this place!!! My dear friends Jim, Lisa and Chris told me about this little golden nugget in Patchogue. The place is so cute and feels like an old time shop or like if my grandma opened a dessert place. The ice cream is wonderful and the cakes and pastries to die for but if you get there when the cookies are coming out fresh OMG the best smell and taste in the world!! Roger is wonderful and reminds me of my uncle, so sweet and welcoming. I will be back to Roger's and will bring the Fords with me next time as a HUGE thank you for turning me on to this place.. read more

What a wonderful addition to Patchogue's Main Street! First, I want to say that Mr. Roger is one of the kindest business owners I've ever encountered. We came in late on a Saturday for ice cream and he made a point to welcome every customer and check in on those who were sitting down. The ice cream was delicious and reasonably priced - $4 for a small! A chain ice cream store will charge you at least $6 for a small. This place is fantastic- though I'd technically give it a 4.5 but first the good! They provide a lot of choices - candies, chocolates, ice cream and baked goods. And most importantly they're super reasonably priced and stay open pretty late. Usually for sweets you end up having to default to Kilwins - which you can easily spend 30$ on a small bag of chocolate and a candied apple. Which makes me feel jipped when I go a few stores down and spend $10 on 2 personal sized nice looking and fresh cakes from Roger's. The guava cheesecake has been a go to but I haven't had a bad dessert yet. The folks behind the counter are friendly enough. I think the only thing that is lacking is the interior. It's pretty plain - has a couple of chairs around to sit if you want but the decor doesn't really invite me to want to stay. I typically just buy it an go somewhere else lol. read more

The staff at Roger's is really friendly and the location is great. I am a person who loves and cherishes dessert. My husband and I went in and first we went to the ice cream section. We were offered samples and there was a flavor called "hotel black bottom pie". Sounds interesting, right? Too bad it was straight up gross. To be fair, I don't think they make it there so it's not a knock on the business more so on the ice cream vendor they use. My suspicion is that the actually do not make any of their desserts there because we got a cupcake, cheesecake cones, chocolate mousse bomb, a peanut butter explosion and an oreo brownie and almost everything tasted artifically flavored. We shared with the kids and we wound up not finishing everything because of the taste. Super unfortunate but they do have some other options I would be open to going back to try including coffees and smoothies. Overall, we were disappointed by the flavors but would stop back in a few months to see if they've improved. read more
