It was fine. It's been a while since we've been to Rainbow Rolls. The last time we went, they were still fairly new so the line was very long. I called last night to see if there was a wait and there wasn't, so we hopped in the car and off we went. They've since added a touchscreen station to place your order. Following the instructions to order was super easy. I ordered a kid's chocolate with rainbow sprinkles and my husband ordered a cookie dough shake. My ice cream was pretty much tasteless and I feel like that's a constant thing with rolled ice cream for whatever reason. My husband said his shake was delicious. It was about $15 so a little pricey.

My taco was delicious! Huge, pricey but worth every penny. I was surprised how creamy the ice-cream was. I guess I was expecting it to be icier but it was not at all icy. It was perfect. It was made with care. My husband got the special partnership roll that was made with NoFo Donut Company donuts. He said it was delicious too. I would definitely come back if I was in the neighborhood again.

Went our first time. Clean and friendly atmosphere. It was colorful and fun. They helped us with our first time ordering. It was cool watching it be made, and we'll worth the money. Amazing to the last drop.

I've been seeing them all over Instagram, so since we were in the area yesterday we decided to try them. It was a little crowded, and you shouldn't go here if you're in a rush, but overall it was fun and tasty! I thought the waffle taco mode-of-delivery might be really messy. It's surprisingly not. Rolled ice cream takes a while to melt, so that makes it easier to eat. The only real issue is that the more you eat, the more the shell is prone to breaking... but it doesn't ruin the experience -- or more importantly the taste -- at all. Also, if you don't want an ice cream taco they do have bowls and shakes too! I would definitely go back! It's a yummy treat and they have a lot to choose from. Very unique.

Was in the area so I thought I'd check this place out. Cool concept but could definitely be better. They only offer chocolate or vanilla ice cream and a bunch of toppings. I'm more of a flavored ice cream with a bunch of toppings kinda gal so this isn't really the place for me but it tasted good if you like plain vanilla. I got the pumpkin taco with a piece of pumpkin cake and sprinkles and my friend got the vanilla rolls tinted blue with peanut butter sauce and Reese's pieces. Both portions were huge so you can easily share and they have a ton of toppings to choose from but again nothing special. It was dead in there so no wait but it also isn't cheap. Service was friendly though.

Definitely an interesting place with a cool concept for ice cream! You can get a shake, make your own sundae or pick one of their classics. I got the PB blast which you can then choose to get in a taco or a cup. They work the ice cream over and it comes to you rolled up. There is also the opportunity to choose whatever toppings you want afterwards. The portion sizes are pretty large and reasonably priced. Fun place to stop for ice cream!

The rainbow rolls 5/5 Chill dessert spot with an awesome menu and unlimited toppings. It's a drive for me but would absolutely come here again. If you have a sweet tooth and like rolled ice cream this is the spot for you fresh toppings and delicious ice cream. Dishes ordered: Strawberry ice cream on sweet taco shell Mint chocolate chip ice cream in a sweet taco shell Mango ice cream rolls Chocolate peanut butter shake Strawberry ice cream on sweet taco shell: 5/5 Creamy ice cream on a sweet taco shell was a great combo and had no complaints Mint chocolate chip ice cream in a sweet taco shell: 5/5 Had the right amount of mint in its ice cream and went well with a sweet taco shell Mango ice cream rolls: 5/5 Very flavorful and added a lot of topping to this one. Was very happy that none of the toppings taste stale or old, ice was great and was pleased with the order. Chocolate peanut butter shake: 5/5 Great shake, we added bananas to the shake and it came out delicious. Overall nothing displeasing or inadequate. Was a nice place to sit and eat for a quick bite or take it on the go to a park. When it got busy it was BUSY so be wary of the line but everything else was on point.

I drove 45 mins to come here and it was so worth it! Obviously I saw their ice cream on Instagram so I had to try it. It did NOT disappoint. The ice cream tacos are huge and so delicious. I got the Cookie Monster taco, the dulce de leche taco, peanut butter milkshake and a birthday milkshake. The Cookie Monster was def my favorite!! The service was great they're very quick and attentive. The ambiance was nice inside its big with tables to sit and capture some photo ops! Great for people of all ages!

My kids beg to go back here so much that we now use it as a reward to get them to do any chore. There are so many options and varieties to pick from you never get stuck with a boring ice cream. They also have vegan ice cream rolls that taste great with strawberries.

From the moment we walked in, we knew were in for a treat! You're greeted by the clean and bright shoppe, welcoming staff, and the delicious smell of confections. We were helped right away by a well-trained, courteous, and helpful ice cream chef. The rolls are prepared right in front of you and when it came time for toppings, apparently the sky is the limit! It was fun to watch our rolls prepared and also to watch other customer's selections going from liquid cream to delicious ice cream rolls. Definitely an added bonus to the experience, the visual treats! And we were not disappointed when it came time for the most important aspect... taste. My Emmy's Coffee roll had the most authentic coffee flavor. It tasted like my latte had been turned into ice cream. And my daughter was equally happy with her Cookie Monster, chock full of three different types of cookies mixed into the ice cream roll and then topped off with even more cookies. Again, it felt like there was no limit to the toppings we could add on. The seating area was plentiful and clean, too. By the way, the shoppe was jumping! Super busy, but it didn't feel busy or congested. The interior space is huge, plenty of room for a crowd. And there were several people working behind the counter, each attentive and efficient. I'm looking at the negative reviews also posted here, and while I'm sorry those folks had unpleasant experiences, I can only say that ours was nothing at all like theirs. My only negative thought is that I live too far away to make this a regular treat stop!

Cupcake Heaven is a cute little shop on Montauk Hwy just before the Hampton's if heading east …read more. however.. they only use a highly processed sweetner.. that has serious reactions if googled online. Stopped in with a friend and he enjoyed a tall iced cafe mocha.. but I winced when he was told it had Truvia in it.. and the proprietor glowed as she explained it had an "all natural sweetner" Truvia. All natural doesn't have an R with a circle around it next to it's name.. I think Registered trade marks are hard to get on all natural foods aren't they? Lol It sounded like another version of "stevia". I hesitated to write this review because the shop is small, the proprietor nice, and trying hard to build a business, but alas... I'd rather tell someone to google the reactions of the "all natural" Truvia, and to decide for themselves. Here is one article.... eek....... http://www.foodnavigator-usa.com/Regulation/Cargill-hit-with-deceptive-marketing-lawsuit-alleging-Truvia-stevia-based-sweetener-is-not-natural Diabetics.. may need something besides sugar.. but this isn't it. sorry.. but back to the drawing board..... apple sauce? fruit? something actually natural.. and I'll come back and rewrite the review... The effort is definately appreciated, just not a fan of artificial sweetners' or them being touted as all natural. Please expirement with something honestly all natural, and you will have a fan. Good luck.

Was not impressed with this place at all. We purchased a "lemon" cupcake and a "cookies n cream"…read morecupcake. The lemon cupcake tasted nothing like lemon. It was more like a coconut cupcake since the top was covered in coconut. The cookies n cream had an Oreo on top and I guess that's why they named it cookies n cream. There was nothing lemony or cookie and creamy about either cake. Both cakes were the same, yellow and very grainy and crumbly, but not moist. The frostings were very sweet. I would not come here again.
