But I'm so glad I was 100% proven wrong, because this is a hidden gem and needs to stay that way to keep lines from forming. As soon as you walk in you could tell there were too many delicious choices to narrow down into an order including pralines and cream, banana nut crunch and bartman. And if something doesn't quite fit your fancy, you can choose to add toppings to your mix from the large variety of options. The line moves fast, and the friendly staff are super helpful and ready to answer questions. The menu also provides favorite concoctions and sundaes. The interior may seem small, but you don't need much room to get in, order, and get out quickly. The only problem is I only had two hands to hold my order as I wanted to try everything.

Realizing that there is not all that much text on one side of a single Entertainment book coupon, I asked him the deal. He told me that they offered this promo (sans coupons, one would presume) on Thursdays & Saturdays, which I explained was a perennial deal and had nothing to do with my coupon. He then corrected himself and said that it was on Tuesdays & Thursdays; this was all moot, as it was Wednesday--though the sign outside did reflect his amendment. Finally, following an awkward visual stalemate, he ripped up my coupon, and helped another customer. I prodded him if I could still get some goddamn ice cream. Yes, he said, and he SLOWLY putzed over to the decrepit soft serve machine, the expletives emerging from his mouth just as offensive as the sounds emitted by the machine. Never having had the pleasure of sampling Hershey's soft serve, I went with one chocolate and one vanilla. The former was airy beyond belief and the latter sputtered for 45 seconds before shooting out some gook that they passed off unapologetically as ice cream. He took our order, and told us they don't have certain items. We asked to see the menu and he said that the pricing is different. Why would that be? Going to sit down we noticed right away, how unclean the table tops were. Not one table was cleaned. We had to ask for napkins to wipe it ourselves. When the food came out, we grabbed it right away. There was one issue, we both ordered no pickles, however one order came with them. I started with the fries. The fries were incredible! I was surprised how good they were. What added to the flavor was the Smacking Sauce they gave with them. It was delicious and had flavor. Now the chicken. First off, it had too much flavorless powder on it. It got onto everything. The powder had no real taste, but it did leave a smell on my hands, even after I washed them. Speaking of, the bathroom had little soap and no paper towels. But, the chicken, definitely wasn't the worst I had. Very generous piece. If I came back I would definitely get the fries and sauce. However, the chicken would be substituted for lamb. Smack N Chick is identical to a restaurant in Hicksville New York, minus chicken standards. I guess it's hard to duplicate the king.
