In the last 16 years this place has done nothing but gone downhill. It doesn't taste like the McDonald's I know the fries are always hard and crunchy with no salt. The burgers are cold all the time. The nuggets are always cold and hard. You'll be lucky to find one person in there that speaks clear English. Its usually only one. Or it's a kid teenager that really doesn't give a shit. Let me explain to you one scenario that happened to me recently. It's 11:30 at night I don't want to go to McDonald's but they're the only one open so I say all right I'll try it again. I go there the line is wrapped around the building. I have to keep shutting off so I don't lose a gallon of gas just sitting there. I ordered my food in the app so it shouldn't be a problem when I pull up to the drive-through I told him I want everything to eat fresh they acknowledge and say okay. 20 minutes later when I finally get up to the window it's not ready which is okay because I want it fresh I wait another 10 minutes in my car a good 4 minutes before the guy even turned around and looked at me and handed me my food I felt around in the bag I thought I felt everything was there when I got home it was a cheeseburger not the free one that I got the one that I paid for. And all the food was cold and hard and I'm like wow I just waited all of that time on that drive through to get a bag of cold hard food. And I'm missing something. Listen every once in awhile in a fast food restaurant something like this is bound to happen but it's been like this every time I went there for the past 6 months and I do door there so a lot of times at night this is my only option if I don't have anything at home. The same thing when you go into the store. The workers literally standing there on their phones and the focus is never on the customer. Remember taking my children here when they were young and the owner of the franchisee the old guy with the gray hair and glasses he was always so nice and friendly. He's there once in a blue moon and that's when you see everyone maybe try to step it up a little notch but not really. And I really feel bad for this guy because I know he wants more for his company because I've been there when he was great he'll be the first one to greet you and he will work the line and hand the order directly to the customer. read more

As others have said and I agree that this McDonald's is not good anymore in all aspects of the food business. I returned my order today as I was disgusted by being sold at 11:30am, undercooked French fries, a double cheeseburger with the cheese still unmelted and a diluted coke. This meal nearly cost $10 and I'm sick of being served badly prepared food at such a high cost. I got my money back and will not return. This McDonald's serves consistently poor breakfast, lunch and forget about late hour meals. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Improve your listening skills. We pulled up at 4:15am and was told that they aren't serving customers until for 4:20am ok that's okay I work in fast food too it's whatever, but when she was talking our order, we wanted to make sure she had two orders of what we wanted and when we did she cut us off with an attitude saying "yes. What drinks." Which again it's early whatever, but dude why is it that you put two drinks down for each meal and you only charged us and gave us one meal? And we find out as soon as we're in pjs ready to eat. Be nicer and listen better! read more

they didn't put my grinch socks in MY grinch meal order!!!!!!!!!!!and i ordered two of them and both didn't have it too i was really looking forward to it read more

They are false advertising that they are open 24 hours when they aren't. And the workers were rude at the intercom.

They were really rude and when we were ordering the dude on the mic was really boring and sounded like he didn't like his job and the. When we got to the window they were really rude and we asked for sauce and they completely ignored us and then we didn't end up getting our sauce, they all looked super mad and annoyed. read more

The food was horible! My son went in and ordered a big mac for me and I got a jr big mac! They didnt listen to my order and I was super upset. When we were driving my stomach was killing me and I couldnt have anyone to drive me because my husband left me when I had my second son. I pulled over on the side and had to use the bathroom in the woods, EMBARSING. The only reason I will go back there if for my son. Horrible! #singlemomlife read more

If i could give them 0 stars i would. They b acting like they can't hear shit. I was speaking very LOUDLY, and still wouldn't get my order. They told me to pull up to the window , gave me the order that the girl heard, and when i wanted to order, the girl just ignored me. Really BAD service. read more

I was refused service yesterday after telling these two workers I had a disability and don't have a mask bc I have a medical exemption not to wear one. . They need to be fired and a lawsuit is coming. They Allowed me to stand in the restaurant for 10 minutes but refused service bc I didn't have a mask. They Refused to give me their names and very rude and unprofessional. Order taker wearing gloves and a mask behind 3" plexiglass ignored my medical exemption. I asked for a mask even though I have an exemption and The second worker said she had no masks to provide either and also refused service to me.. So they want to enforce an illegal mask mandate but don't have them to handout. I am a daily regular at McDonalds in Shirley, NY and I'll NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AFTER THE WAY I WAS TREATED! They broke the disability laws of this state and that is NOT OK! #boycottmcds #boycottmcdonalds read more

Longest, slowest lines ever. I hate having to Come here! and if it wasn't for annoying children I wouldn't. Their ice machine never works and every time without fail something is missing, I hate having to go inside and wait 10 minutes for someone to finally look at me to fix the issue , then to home and the correct food is cold. Frustrating. read more

Service is lousy, no one working register only way to order is through machine. Food was cold. Hope they're not all going this way. Next time I'll save myself the aggravation and go to a deli or diner. read more

They screw something up EVERY SINGLE TIME. This last time, 4 other people were in the lobby who'd just come in from the drive thru with incorrect orders. The employees looked like they didn't even know what planet they were on because they appeared to be unable to process this information (and honestly space aliens would be only acceptable excuse here). Mistake after mistake after mistake. I used to work McDonalds when I was a teenager and this would have been unacceptable--people would be fired for this level of screwing up. The amount of food waste must be astronomical at this place, which is disgraceful. They should be ashamed of themselves for this. I know they might not care and perhaps don't even read these, but maybe there's a small chance the owner will see this and try to change things for the better. read more

If I could give this Mcdonalds a god damn zero I would. Worst and most disgusting Mcdonalds I've been to in my life. I don't get how somebody can get paid every hour and can't make food correctly to how it's ordered. Everyone gets tired and lazy but this is unreal to how it happens every single time I go here. This mcdonald's is so horrible and disgusting that it should be shut down immediately, save your money don't go here and find yourself any other place to go to. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Unfortunately it's the only one nearby. 9 out of 10 times I order, they screw up. My husband just went through the drive thru and ordered pancakes and sausage. For whatever reason the person who took the order thought he said bacon egg and cheese mcgriddle! She repeated back pancakes, but still rung up the sandwiches. Ugh! This isn't the first time they messed up, and most times I'd go back and tell them. But today I don't have time to go back and wait on line. The next time we want McDonald's we're going to the one in the next town! read more

Normally the driver thru is reliable... Lately, not so much. None more evident than today. Big breakfast with a coffee and an oatmeal. Left thinking everything was there.... The oatmeal was not. Maybe I should've checked the bag then I thought, I don't work for them. They should do that to ensure everything is there. You swipe a card for payment to check everything goes through, take the same time and check the order. read more

Why why why does it take so long here? Doesn't matter if it's the drive thru or if you go in. I guess the days of "fast food" are over. The service here is so bad. I was in the drive thru today and was told to "pull ahead" to wait for my order. But there was someone already there still waiting for their order. Perhaps if McDonald's didn't have to take all their time making those ridiculous drinks, they would have time to get the food out. I have even waited 10 minutes inside to get a Happy Meal when there was no other customers inside. Stop with the iced coffees, frappucinos and stuff. read more

Worst McDonald's on Long Island. Manager is rude & clearly sees that his employees are more focused on their cell phones, rather than offering quality food & friendly service. They have double the amount of employees behind the counter, compared to every other McDonald's I've been to, yet the wait time is ridiculously long, the food is cold & the order is incorrect 90% of the time. Luckily, their are numerous fast food establishments within the surrounding area, that are more than welcome to provide you great food & friendly service. read more

I was disgusted with my service the other night when I ordered through the drive through. The women taking my order could hardly speak English nor understand it because as usual at this location the order was wrong so I gave it back to be fixed only to see the manager on duty juggling my two burgers in his hands showing off to his employees before putting them into the bag he handed me to go home with like it was funny. Then smirked and laughed while saying "sorry" for the mistake. Then get home and the whole orders completely wrong and the fries were soggy and cold. Gross! Poor management read more

Didn't even want to give them a star. The customer in front us had ordered a shamrock shake that only come out once a year! On top of that they charged us for one and didn't get refund not happy ! Went to Burger King for there shakes. read more

If I could give this place a 0 in rating I would. I live in the area and I've gone to this McDonald's a handful of times now & they have not once got my order right, not at the cash register or the drive through. The first time I went was with some friends and when we left all of our orders were in each other's bags. I went again another time , thinking that the first time I went was busy it could've been a one time mistake and no I was wrong cause my whole order was wrong again. Tonight I went and the bread just tasted like cold. Literally, cold. Not room temperature or warm, and the meat tasted hard as well. I got a hot chocolate that was cold as well. I've never been to a worse McDonald's than this one in my life. read more
