This is one of the best small local restaurants to have breakfast, homemade style , great portions and good price. I wish they had more natural juices options instead of can juice or soda .

    Hungry man breakfast.

Service is very nice. I have the hungry man breakfast that is tasty. Haven't tried anything else. Small place and bathroom is in the back next to the kitchen. Would go back for breakfast for sure.

I don't venture this far out the island often but when I do I try to find places to eat that I can add to my "go to" list. This is one of them. Simple diner food with a nostalgic old time feel. This place was opened in '68 and you can tell some people have been coming here since then. Breakfast was good, no complaints. Everything came in a timely manner, was hot and fresh and tasted great. Coffee was good, juice was good, staff was nice. It's a very small place, maybe 5 tables and bar seating but there was no wait. It was great for a quick breakfast which is what we were looking for.

This place so reminded us of another "diner" similar in size located in a small town in Vermont....What a great find on a strip of Montauk Hwy loaded with commercial enterprises. Linda, the prop was a sweetheart and took care of us like a mother would, making sure we were happy and well fed. It was so comfortable being there and everyone was enjoying their vittles. We had a brunch time breakfast. Great coffee and Bon got the French Toast with Bacon and I got Blueberry Pancakes with magnificant sausage links. You cant compare this place to anything else cause theres nothing else like it in the area. Comfortable, Great food, warm service and clean....a 10/10....we look forward to returning soon!

This has been my family's go to place for breakfast. I've been searching for a great place for breakfast that was as good as and upscale restaurant like Bills cafe in California. and finally found this place eventhough it's not the same atmosphere or menu as Bill's Cafe. Restaurant is a small place but the employees are so nice, food came out fast and really good. This has recently become my family's go to restaurant for breakfast every weekend now. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys a good breakfast. Prices are also really good.

Found out later that it was formerly Watami. I recognized the window view from the inside. Arrived a few minutes before our reservation, and we were seated right away at a cozy corner. The place had several tables occupied, and it looks like we got there at the right time. Drink and appetizer orders were taken, and we had a little time to look through the menu. A bottle of wine and a couple of cocktails came out and entree orders were taken promptly. I had looked it up ahead of time, and had my sights set on the Paella Valencia. We also got the Grilled Octopus (perfectly grilled and seasoned), empanadas which were smaller than I expected, but delicious (Might have been too much if they were bigger). we also had the seafood-stuffed jalapenos, and calamari for appetizers, and others in our party got the lamb chops, stuffed sole, and salmon for their mains. I finished my entire pot of paella, it was fantastic. I always like when the chef comes around to see firsthand how the guests are enjoying their meals, and Chef Nunez did just that. I think we'll bring other people here next time, there were many other items that caught my eye that reminded me of our time in Spain.

Turns out there was a Christmas party happening in the back, must have been quite the rager. We were referred here by some locals that seemed to know most of the wait staff so that seemed promising. The drinks were average the food was SUPERB. We were a fairly large group (maybe), there were 8 of us. The food presentation was that of a high end restaurant, and it was definitely not my typical menu so that was a nice change of pace. Don't expect a Chilis menu or some other basic chain menu. One downfall, one of the dinners came out about twenty minutes after everyone else's. The manager took care of it which was the decent thing to do, maybe it was mixed into the party room, idk. Overall a great experience.

He pretty much ran the show and was so welcoming . He really knows his stuff. He's been there from the start and is a super nice guy! Everything he recommended was spot on: Oysters casino ( hubby's first time) and Burrata Chicken was delish (didn't need the chicken). Perfect Al dente Pasta in a yummy sauce and who DOESNT LOVE BURRATA? Fried Calamari was a hit as well. Portions are huge. We were way too stuffed for dessert, but Tommy gave us a sample of their homemade Cannoli cheesecake, really good! So of course we had get a slice of Pistachio Cheesecake to go in case we got stuck in traffic. ;) ;) Thanks for a great meal! Will be back soon!

They said they don't make reservations for that amount of people. So I'm guessing they only take reservations for larger parties of people. We arrive at 7:35pm. The hostess said the wait would be about 20mins. She said to check back around 8pm for our table. We were seated at 8pm, but she seemed to forgot about us, becasue the table was opened the whole time we were there. We started off with the appetizer sampler which was 5 wings, 2 clam cakes, and 2 potato skins. The appitizer was good, the wings were a bit dry. We also got the shrimp tostada, meatball, and burger as out main dishes. The shrimp tostada was disgusting. It was a fried flour tortilla served with wilted lettuce and shrimp drowned in mayo. It was basically unedible. The meatball was okay, it was not what we expected though. It was a giant meatball served with a huge piece of butter in between it. The burger was the only thing that was great. It was cooked medium rare, and was huge. The fries were soft. We would not come here again. If you happen to come here, get the burger or pastas they lookd good. Stay away from the shrimp tostada.
