I was talking to a new friend the other day about how much I love this place, then realized I've never reviewed them My friend Deirdre is absolutely in love with this spot. She'd been asking me to come for years and a few months ago we finally made it. On her own she goes all the time. Now we go together whenever I'm off from work as a special new tradition. They have the coolest creative lattes and teas like a peanut butter & jelly one, lavender etc. I'm also obsessed with their soap! (The coffee one though. Def a matter of opinion but I wasn't crazy about the scent of the orange one. I had thought I liked it in the store, but it didn't smell good on my body. Maybe doesn't mix well with my body's natural scent or something. Or maybe just me bc I kept feeling like I smelled but no one else thought it smelled bad lol. Always one of my go to spots. Love all the different flavored lattes. The top flavors I've tried recently are the pistachio shakerato and the birthday cake flavored latte. My boyfriend and I got a bag of the Peru coffee beans and it's a great option to make cold brew with. read more

Came here on a Sunday about an hour before closing and the place was poppin. There's ample parking but inside there are only a few 2 top tables so it may be hit or miss if you can sit and enjoy your beverage and snack. We were three people so only 2 of us sat and one stood and once we were done eating we took our drinks on the road. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. One interesting thing is that our drinks were not the temperature I would normally expect (piping hot) and after ordering I noticed other people were ordering and saying "hot" So if you want your beverage actually hot and not ambient temperature, be sure to say hot! read more

Alway's great things at Tend Coffee! it is me and my wife's go to coffee shop in the area. Their seasonal flavors are always amazing as well! The only thing I really wish they had was more space. I got my drink and it wasn't all the way full. The image is after I took one sip. I basically paid a lot of money for Ice. Today I celebrated 3 years with my girlfriend. Tend is where we had our first date. I was disappointed with my trip today, especially since this place is so important to us. So rather than reach out and try to make it right, they took the image and posted it on social media. This company shows its true colors. Maybe 10 years ago, my 6 year old grandson was with me while I was having the oil in my car changed across the street from TEND. They were obviously roasting coffee beans and the boy remarked about the nice aroma in the air, so I took him to the coffee shop. The Barrista was extremely friendly and explained to my grandson the whole roasting process and gave him a few coffee beans--roasted and unroasted--and the child cherished them. Years later he did a class project about how coffee was roasted and he went back to TEND, where they gave him enough coffee beans for every child to hold and paper cups to hold them in. How did he start his talk? "Have you ever smelled the aroma of coffee beans roasting?..." TEND remains our favorite coffee shop. read more

It was ok, I just think the prices are ridiculous. That's why I prefer to make my own. It's very rare for me to buy coffee out unless I'm running late. It seemed a little flavorless coffee wise. Why are all the good coffee places far away from me? ;__; After rave reviews, I decided I finally had to try this place out during my lunch break and made the half hour trek to Shirley. It's a building off a busy road and quite small inside, but filled with so. many. options. Classic coffee shop fare plus a variety of flavored drinks and baked goods. I ended up ordering a Neapolitan Macchiato and was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved it. The espresso did not have that woody taste at all. A good, bitter, counterpart to the (real) strawberry puree at the bottom. Altogether it was not too sweet, but not bland either. Had I been in the area longer, I would've ordered a delicious looking pastry but, the macchiato itself was a good caffeine kick to get me through the afternoon. Overall, would 1000% be back to try their other offerings. If not the drinks, then at least for the fresh beans! read more

So I have a problem with coffee spots. They always smell so delicious but I can't drink coffee because of a high sensitivity to caffeine. I was at tend doing a repair and the owner offered me a drink and I politely declined since coffee is not my friend, even can't do decaf without feeling it . Susan offered me an herbal tea that she said has absolutely no caffeine in it. My only problem now is I want a jug of it. It's so delicious, refreshing, and fruity. You can buy the beans and they will grind them for you to your liking depending on on the type of coffee maker you have at home. Their service is always friendly and excellent. Absolutely love this place! The staff and owner are amazing! The Quality of coffee is top notch in my opinion. They roast their own coffee and make their own loose tea. I love the raspberry red berry tea amongst others. The Nicaraguan blend and winter blend are my favorite roasts they sell. The only thing I miss is being able to sit down in the coffee shop to crochet and relax when my kids are at day care or grandmas house. I understand The reasoning during all that's going on, hopefully they will get back to normal soon. I could definitely use a quiet relaxing place to have a nice cup of coffee or tea. read more

Bags often not properly heat-sealed, so this has prevented my sending some across the country as gifts. Often unable to give me a printed receipt that I need to have and do not want an e-mailed version. -1. Have supported this place form the get go, since they were at farmers' markets. Staff nice, service usually fast. Last month my coffee was up FOUR DOLLARS a bag. Thought there was some mistake, but was informed that all prices in the place have been increased. Was told there have been no increases in years. Fine; I'm in business and understand that marketing goods from out of country has bene subjected to increased transportation and labor costs. Either the lady has no idea what she's doing or is just price gouging, but an increase of this proportion is out of line. Incremental increases are often unnoticed by the consumer. It's very important to feel safe during these uncertain times especially when you have to go outside like when you run out of coffee in the house. Suffering myself from what has been termed as covid anxiety I like to be in and out and Cafe has made this a very pleasant experience and I recommend it for anyone who suffers like I do from anxiety due to covid and especially the deltavarians and likewise for anyone who just wants to spend an hour or two I had a nice local New York City style coffee shop just chilling on their laptop and being left alone. The ambiance is fantastic, the staff is fantastic, the prices can be a little bit lower, but you pay for the amount of time you spend at the establishments. In a sea of chain coffee and restaurants, Tend stands out positively. Not a ton of ambience in the little cottage they call home, but both the coffee and espresso options delivered in terms of freshness and quality. My one note (and it's not really a complaint, but was odd) is that my cheddar and chive scone was a like for like replica of a Red Lobster biscuit. Best coffee after petting baby goats in pajamas. For a rainy, dark and cold Mother's Day, spirits were surprisingly high in Moriches. We had just left the Long Island Game Farm, where Julie and I were the only visitors of the day. Wet, still a little stoned and far from home, we longed for a warm latte and a scone or something.
