Georgio's Coffee Roasters is one of my favorite coffee spots. It's a small, cute coffee shop right in front of a little pond, which makes it a great place to walk around if the weather is nice. The coffee here is excellent, especially the drip coffee, and the prices are great. we ordered Drip Coffee -- 5/5 Iced Matcha Latte -- about 4/5 with vanilla and almond milk Tres Leches Sweet Glaze Donut -- 2/5 The matcha latte was good, though slightly sweet with the vanilla. The donut was just okay this time. but last time we had the blueberry donut, which was really good. no bathroom, very limited seating ( two tables), but plenty of parking and a really nice, relaxing vibe. Another great coffee spot opened in the 'nabe! Georgio's Coffee Roaster is right in the heart of Stony Brook village. This is the spot where you can get a nice cuppa coffee and window shop. Man, I can window shop with the best of them! Walking inside I see I have the place to myself. I look to the left wall and see the various coffee bags. Once I'm at the register, I order a cappuccino. While waiting for my drink, a young dad walks in with his two sons. The sons run up to the counter and they scream, blackouts! ? The woman behind the counter takes out the most delicious looking doughnuts. She grabs two doughnut for the kids and wraps them up. Man those doughnuts look incredible! I was tempted to buy one but instead I chill. I walk over to the various coffee beans on display and buy a bag of espresso beans. I have a Moke pot at home, its time for me to dust it off and make some espresso. I make espresso pretty good, my grandparents had it down to a science. I recently visited stony brook village and saw this coffee shop so I decided to stop in for a coffee. I went with the cookie butter latte and really enjoyed it. You can tell that the coffee is high quality. They had a wide selection of coffee beans and they were a great price. They have a few tables inside along the window. I ordered the monthly special which was a cookie butter latte and loved it. It wasn't very sweet, but it wasn't too strong either. Cute coffee shop in the middle of stony brook village. Very minimal inside, only two small tables for seating. Staff was friendly, it did take a little while to get a drink but it was delicious so it was worth it. I tried a cookie butter latte which I wasn't sure what to expect but it was tasty and not too sweet. read more

Don't believe any of the reviews that are under five stars. Georgio's is as good as it gets and I really owe this place a review because I am here multiple times a week. First of all the coffee is amazing like 10 out of 10 every time you go there. I normally just get a black cold brew and it always hits the spot but today I got the pumpkin spice latte and let me just say that these baristas really make everything with care and love. All the syrups and even the whipped cream is allll house made!! Makes all the difference. It also doesn't hurt that every time I go in there the baristas make me smile and laugh, it honestly keeps me coming back. It's so much better than making coffee at home which I could easily do. I love the stony brook village, there are many shops around. My boyfriend and I were on the hunt to find good quality coffee beans as we like to make cold brew and espressos at home. We stumbled upon Georgio's Coffee Roasters, they also have a location in Farmingdale. They had a wide selelction of beans to choose from for espresso and pour over. They have blends and single origin. We got the Testarossa blend and it was perfect for our cold brew. Along with the beans I ordered a maple spice latte and a spinach and cheese empanada. My boyfriend got a cold brew which came free since he bought the beans. There are a couple of tables near the window, but I feel like it's more of a grab and go kind of place. Great addition to stony Brook village, just wish it opened earlier. Their coffee is absolutely delicious. I'm obsessed with their specialty flavors that are made in house, no store bought syrup in sight. Flavors are also quite creative. I started going within the first few months of their opening and the baristas were so friendly! Haven't been able to get to know the new employees, though. Although there's plenty of space for it, there aren't a ton of seating options so it's more of a grab and go place, or a quick catch up with a friend/acquaintance. Last time I checked they didn't have wifi, but there is free stony Brook village wifi so it is nice to sit if you have an awkward amount of time to kill and get work done, I just wouldn't camp out there. This new coffee roasterie is located directly to the left of the Stony Brook post office in a perfect little corner spot! Very well put together and organized with a great layout. The employees are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the coffee options and how everything is made. They sell many different coffee and espresso beans as well as mugs from a local artist and the well know "Fellow" brand travel cups. For the coffee itself I got a vanilla hot latte with oat milk and it was phenomenal. The vanilla tasted unique but in the best possible way. Marvin got a gingerbread latte on the Winter specials menu and it was strong on the ginger but also in a good way. Overall I highly recommend checking them out and I already can't wait to go back and try their other drinks! read more

There's no photo of my drink because enjoyed it so much I inhaled it. If you love Georgio's in Farmingdale, this is literally the same experience, just closer to the North Shore! Inside is spacious and woody but stacked with the same Georgio's beans and merch found in Farmingdale. They have a standard menu as well as seasonal and I walked out quickly with a Strawberry Mocha. It. was. fantastic. A bit sweet, but not too sweet and smooth. A perfect lil' pick me up on these cold winter days. Awesome coffee the inside is very minimalistic and the employees are extremely knowledgeable in crafting espresso as well as pour over coffee. My wife and I purchased their espresso beans and use it religiously every morning and highly recommend trying them out. In terms of all the local coffee shops in the area Giorgio's is definitely my number one pick for anyone interested in well crafted lattes. Also they use frozen coffee ice cubes so your drinks do not get diluted when the ice melts which I think is a fantastic addition. read more

Really great coffee spot located in the Stony Brook Village Center. I have only been here a few times, but I've really enjoyed it. The baristas are amiable and seem to take pleasure in what they do. The few drinks that I have gotten were very pleasant, and I thought the use of coffee iced cubes was really neat. I am by no means an expert on coffee or "coffee snob", just someone who enjoys good food and vibes, but this place seems like it would satisfy said person since they sell a variety of beans and some brewing equipment. It can serve as a nice place to do some studying, although the seating did seem a bit limited. If you enjoy the experience of a local coffee shop reminiscent of those in the city, this place offers just that. read more

Their coffee is good but sooooo expensive for the little amount you get. There's only like one person there who is nice. All the other employees have bad attitudes, roll their eye, and give one word answers. I once went in and no one was in there but the barista and she was groaning and rolling her eyes when I approached the counter. Not sure why all the bad vibes but whatever. read more
