I'm very conflicted with this review. I was in the area and had some time to kill, and I needed coffee ! I found myself here. I was greeted by a kind worker, I believe he said his name was Sod (sorry if that's misspelled). I told him I'd never been, and he gave me a few recommendations. I went with what I believe was a caramel vanilla cloud iced latte. I advised I don't like super sweet drinks. Sod said he can make it less sweet, which I appreciated. It was good, and not overly sweet. Sod checked in on me as I stayed to enjoy my coffee. It was very filling too and I couldn't finish it. They also have pastries. It's located at a small shopping center with some parking spots. If you are driving in the dark, it's a bit difficult to spot this place since there are no signs. Thinking if they put up a road sign with Christmas lights, it might attract some attention considering they open until 10PM. What we got: Drinks: Rose Whispers Latte (highly recommend) and Golden Bloom Latte Food: Herb Grilled Chicken Kabob (highly recommend) and Smoke Salmon Avocado This store can make any drink you want and has original drinks that they concocted. My friend immediately wanted to try Golden Bloom Latte (iced). I didn't want any caffeine so she suggested Rose Whispers Latte (hot). I was worried that the rose flavor would be overpowering. My worries were non-existent. This warm, cozy drink hit the spot. The Golden Bloom Latte was a hit too. Let me tell you about the Herb Grilled Chicken Kabob (thought it's supposed to be Kebab)! This has a slight kick but wow the flavors work well together. My taste buds were like give me more. The smoked salmon avocado was good too. After eating the chicken, we are team Herb Grilled Chicken Kabob. There are 3 tables for you to partake your meal. If you are in need of a bouquet, they have fresh flowers from Holland. I've had several "tiramisu" lattes, and this is by far the silkiest, the creamiest, most flavorful version I've had the pleasure of imbibing. Why does it have to be so far from my home base?!?! Bad news for me, great news for the people of Lake Grove and surrounding areas, centrally located to the Smith Haven Mall. This is more than an amazing coffee shop, they also offer bakery items, soups, sandwiches, ice cream, fresh squeezed orange juice, Poppi and other canned beverages, and... if that wasn't enough... a florist. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing, especially given the prices. We went in for coffee, and the menu listed the drink at $7.99, but I was charged $9.30. Only after I questioned the price was I told that $9.30 was for a large. However, the menu shows only one price and does not indicate separate small and large sizes or pricing. I ordered the tiramisu latte, which was barely warm rather than hot and didn't taste like it had much, if any, espresso in it. It tasted more like a warm hot chocolate. The manager was also very pushy when I was ordering and repeatedly tried to steer me away from what I actually wanted. I also ordered the chicken pastry, which did taste good, but it was served cold in the middle and had to be sent back to be heated further.
