Sometimes people just want to walk into a cafe. But if everyone is over at the deli, it's confusing. I also understand business. All my old experiences there were negative, the old owner and staff were rude, it was dirty, the food was barely worth eating and with all that being so bad, the prices were ridiculously high. The manager "Chris" was a really sweet young lady and later told me she was partners with the owner. She owns it with her brother Anthony - hence Antonio's. The family has been in the deli business for years and it shows with that good old fashioned pride they take in their work. The friendly nature they have shows they really enjoy what they do. There was a cute young girl named Audrey that was working her last day there before she went back to school, and she was already making sure they had room for her to work when we she came back for breaks. Their logo is a cute Artichoke design that appears on the boards and menus and they have plans on really developing the space into a true Italian American Gourmet Deli while keeping all the old favorites for the regulars like me. It's a very personable space with specials named after some of the people that work and eat there, and they deliver in the area so it's going to be hard to resist ;0) WOW.. very unexpected and a great overall experience. I don't usually take the time to write reviews unless its to alert people to bad experiences they should avoid, But its great to feel motivated to write a praise for something that is good and deserves the credit and congratulations for what is obviously a lot of work flipping what was a dive into a nice clean friendly destination for some really good food and friendly faces!
