I appreciate the friendly service from the cashier and the opportunity to try the Moroccan sand brewed coffee, which was very good. However, I gave three stars because many of the items I originally ordered were not available. Although I understand that sometimes things sell out, the limited availability affected my overall experience. I was looking forward to trying more menu items, and it was disappointing that several weren't in stock. The seating area was cute and the service was kind, but the lack of item availability is the main reason for my rating.

Definitely a hidden gem on Long Island! This cafe is a wonderful place to meet up with friends or just relax with a nice latte or chai and unwind. They have it all! They have beautiful decor, comfy decorative couches, board games and a cozy atmosphere. You have to remove your shoes in order to enter the couch area, which was fine. I loved that you can head to a spot and order right on your phone by scanning a QR code! I ended up speaking with the owner and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely return! I loved this place. Also had one of the best matcha lattes at this place.

What an absolute gem of a place. Inside is beautifully decorated and the seats are very comfortable. Just remember to respect the space and take off your shoes! There's a wide variety of unique things to choose from and everything is reasonably priced. I ordered online a Kashmiri Chai, Pomegranate Lokum, and a samosa, but unfortunately there was a snafu with my order. With that being said, the owner went above and beyond rectifying my order, which was very much appreciated! The chai was hot and milky. The lokum was chewy and floral and the samosa hit that crispy and salty craving. I would, without hesitation recommend this place if you are looking for something special to experience on the island!

Truly a hidden gem in Selden. I have pass this road a hundred times and never noticed this place. My friend took me here for some coffee and unwinding, and I truly loved it. It is exotic with teas, food, dessert- you name it. The service is fantastic as well. This is another place I would love to host an event. The decor is beautiful as well. We are already planning our return.

Wonderful cafe with such amazing options and a kind staff. It's such a novel place and have come back several times and enjoyed each time. I've been able to get some work done and study there. The decor is so cool too!

Who would've thought such a beautiful and warm place would be found in this sketchy parking lot in Selden. My expectations were not as high, but after walking in, I was blown away. I loved the vibrant and unique decor and all of the cozy seating inside the place. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who was able to recommend some items for us to try. After ordering, we took off our shoes and then took a seat in the corner of the lounge. I loved how each individual space was divided by makeshift walls for privacy. The space was so cozy and I loved being able to sit and drink tea and chat with my friends. We ordered two different drinks, a chocolate tres leches, and chicken samosas. I really enjoyed both of our drinks - the adeni latte was extremely aromatic and deep in flavor. I like the fruitiness and the tartness of the hibiscus tea as well. The samosas were the best samosas I've ever had. It was a more unique style that I've never had before I really enjoyed the crispiness of the outer layer and the savory, and spicy filling inside. The chocolate leches was definitely a stand out. It was moist and decadent, almost brownie like. The prices were more than fair and the service was spectacular. It was hard not to order their entire menu despite it being so extensive.

me and my friend came to try this place out. even though on google it says theyre open, and the open sign is turned on there is no one inside and the door is locked. we drove all this way to try and was highly disappointed

Loved the concept. The place is spacious and homey, and anyone dining in can take off their shoes in the cubbies, grab a board game, and sit and relax while enjoying sweets, drinks, and small bites. I ordered s pitcher of the Karak Chai. The chai was flavorful but a tad too sweet for my liking, but Ali, the owner, brought extra milk to dilute down the flavor to our liking. He also gave us an extra cup that did not fit in the pitcher so we had plenty of chai to drink. There is also wifi so someone could easily opt to complete some work on the couches while having cafe bites and drinks. Hidden gem and I hope more people come try this great spot!

the server gave us this dirty crumpled napkin. disgusting

I'll start with the positives. This place has lovely décor, featuring traditional Middle Eastern and Turkish elements, including floor seating. It was also very clean. However, the service and food left much to be desired. First, the server handed us crumpled napkins with crumbs in them, which was quite off-putting. I included a photo. We ordered a masala chai, Kashmiri chai, cardamom milk, a croissant with omelette, a paratha with omelette, and kunefe. The croissant sandwich was average; the eggs needed more salt, and they didn't have a salt shaker (strange for a restaurant), so they brought us salt in a tiny sauce container. The paratha was burnt in some places, making it unpalatable, even though it had potential. The cardamom milk was just okay, a bit too sweet for my taste. My mom found the masala chai to taste very artificial and inauthentic. She said she couldn't finish it. The most disappointing items were the Kashmiri chai and kunefe. As a Kashmiri, I make noon chai regularly, and it takes over an hour with specific green tea leaves and aerating procedure to achieve its distinct flavor and maroon color. The Kashmiri chai here tasted like pink-dyed, overly sweetened milk with artificial flavorings. It lacked the authentic salty and green tea taste and instead had a perfume-like flavor, which I found quite disrespectful to our culture. I couldn't even drink more than a few sips of it. As for the kunefe, the menu describes it as a traditional Arab dessert made with kataifi pastry, sugar syrup, cheese, clotted cream, and pistachio. What we received had no cream or cheese filling; it resembled vermicelli noodles drenched in sugar syrup. I couldn't take more than two bites without feeling nauseous. The owner explained this was the Turkish version, which supposedly doesn't include cheese. However, this wasn't mentioned on the menu, and every Turkish restaurant I've been to, including those in Istanbul, serves kunefe with cheese. Additionally, the menu is confusing with its random assortment of dishes. If the restaurant aims to be a Middle Eastern/Turkish café, why are there Chinese chow mein noodles on the menu?

I had a good time. It's very chill and relaxing. No pressure. Nice floor lounges that you can sit in. They had good coffee. The yemeni one was good. The hot chocolate was really really good. I'd go back. We also got a complimentary sample of the tirasimu and it was OK. They also had dubai chocolate there. I'd go back.

A hidden gem in a local shopping center. This café offers an incredible variety of international teas and snacks from Morocco to Egypt and beyond. Every bite and sip feels like a journey to a far-off land, thanks to the authentic flavors. The food and desserts are absolutely delicious, and the ambiance is perfect for a relaxing experience. The owner is warm and welcoming, always going out of the way to make sure guests feel right at home. It's quickly becoming our go-to spot for a delightful, authentic dining experience. Definitely a place fit for a sultan!

    Ambiance

Our Chai Teas were absolutely delicious especially the Karak Chai, perfectly flavorful and sweet. The Kashmiri Chai was beautiful presentation mild in the flavor with aftertaste of honey like. The Masala Chai was very black tea dominant, wish it was sweeter(to my own tastebuds). Out of the desserts we got the Chocolate Tres Leches was amazing, nicely moist and delicious. The staff was absolutely delightful and attentive. The ambiance in the place is nothing like we have seen in Long Island. Very unique place, one of a kind. We will definitely be back.

Saudi arabian coffee and yemeni coffee

This place has such a cozy vibe. The carpeted lounge area has plenty of low-ground, soft seating, and the rainy day view out the windows made me feel so at ease. We got both the Yemeni and Saudi Arabian coffees. They were incredibly smooth and layered with spices that made it taste like a Chai. I can tell the staff made sure to make these drinks thoughtfully. Our server was so nice and helpful - he kindly walked us through the setup of the cafe and went through what was in our drinks. He was enthusiastic and clearly cared about the craft and the business. I moved away from the area recently, but if not I'd come here all the time. It would be a great place to do work.

Ordered a hot tiramisu latte and a lavender latte. Now normally when a latte is flavored as such it's got a bit of syrup and a taste that sort of resembles the flavor. In this case I could have sworn they took a tiramisu, liquefied it, added espresso and gave it to me in a cup. This was unbelievably on point in flavor! For the lavender latte, identical experience. Tasted fresh, soft, smooth. As if there really was the essence of lavender within the coffee. Your local green and white chain coffee store cannot match this. The cups are also an awesome design. The sipping tip design is like nothing I've seen before. An absolutely must try for a coffee lover
