Met a friend for coffee and live music at The Study. We decided to share the keto steak platter with eggs Sunny side up. The steak looked thin when it came out but was absolutely delicious and tender and plenty for a light lunch for two. The waitstaff brought us two plates and knives to split the meal. I later had a regular coffee which hit the spot. The ambiance here made me feel like I was a regular on a tv show - it's cozy and welcoming. If I lived closer I'd probably be here every day! The live guitar music was fantastic. It wasn't too loud so we could still hold a conversation. Lots of booth seating as well as tables. We showed up around 4 pm and it wasn't too crowded but it got crowded later. The bathroom decor made me laugh. #iykyk Definitely a must visit for lunch, an early dinner or coffee. The Study is a very nice place with great food, good energy, and a pleasant vibe. The space is open with plenty of seating, servers are very nice, and it feels perfect for a quick date or girls' brunch -- but not really a spot for guys to hang out and eat a lot of food. I had the yogurt with blueberry filling, pineapple, and grapes -- it tasted exactly as it looks, clean and simple. The caffè latte used Paramount Coffee's "The Perfect" beans; the shot was dark and strong at first, but once mixed it became smooth with a slight bitterness. The chicken Caesar salad bun with onion rings had a simple, healthy flavor but the portion was a bit small. Banana foster was more like a dessert than coffee, with a strong cinnamon note -- the banana flavor was subtle due to caramelization. You can add espresso if you want. Downsides: despite the name, it's not a good place to study. A lot of people come to eat, talk, hang out, and play games, so it's not quiet. Price-wise, coffee and drinks are reasonably priced, and milk swaps or small customizations aren't heavily charged, but food portions feel small for the price. They have a restroom, are wheelchair friendly, and they mentioned they own a roaster nearby and plan to start roasting their own beans soon. Quaint little spot hidden in between offices behind a supermarket. Hard to get to but once you find it, you're treated to an adorable little library-themed coffee shop. The vibes are there and my Turkey Toastie sandwich was excellent. It was too busy for me to eat there so I took it home, but I'd love to eat there soon! Prices are a bit inflated, expect to spend around $25-$30 for a sandwich and drink. If that is within your budget, it's a nice spot. If not, maybe just grab a drink and chill there for a while. read more

With some time on my hands today I figured why not write up a quick review from my morning meal at The Study? I mean it's worth a speedy turn around because you'll want to make your way over here and spend some time taking in the vibes (and maybe the food/drink), just like my wife and I did earlier in the AM hours. You see, more than anything else, The Study emanates the perfect concoction of a coffee shop, comfy lounge, get-work-done location, and jazzy hangout. The books on the walls, eclectically odd yet comical artwork, and random seating options really hit perfectly. Toast had a fantastic idea here in creating this combo of a spot. Now with that more laidback and lounge-y feel comes less of a full-fledged place to actually get a meal. The Study has their "Test Kitchen" which offers up a small menu of breakfast and lunch options, plus there's a yogurt bar and baked goods to choose from, but don't expect the lengthy menu you'd find at big brother Toast. Same can be said with the coffee/drink options as things are definitely toned down here, but perhaps that's a good thing in giving The Study its own personality. Well, there's good and bad in that mindset of individuality because I'll say my iced latte with pistachio syrup was good, though perhaps was missing a small extra punch of espresso that I feel like I get from Toast. For food, I did partake in the Billionaires Wrap which combined some wild flavors (bacon jam, dill havarti, black truffle aioli) amidst their eggs and "smash browns" and definitely tasted good, though it came in at a whopping $18 which is quite steep for my little handheld. My wife's yogurt parfait was also an interestingly thicker type of yogurt, though fresh nonetheless. So perhaps the food and drink wasn't competently what was expected, but I'll throw another big positive out there in stating that the staff was definitely helpful and friendly. It's a seat yourself kind of setup here, but staff will bring you your drinks/grub to your table and lets you know where to find anything you might need (utensils, napkins, etc.). Perhaps you can't eat or drink the vibe and service, but it does entice you to want to return. Overall, I'd definitely come back to The Study (albeit it's a little out of my way) again in the near future. No, you can't eat the ambiance, but the feels in here alone are worthy of a second trip with hopes that coffee can be a little stronger, food a little differently priced (with more great tastes from other options), and a desire for continued superb service. Drinks were delicious! No set specialty drinks but you can get a latte or coffee and put any flavor inside. It is consistently busy so be aware of that, but the inside is very cute and vintage inspired. Staff also very nice and friendly. Great place!! read more

"Another" spot for breakfast in my 'nabe? God Bless us everyone. This spot was renovated years ago, I remember talking to the owner who invested a lot of money in the space and even used imported Italian tiles. He made a beautiful spot that closed within a year. Fast forward to 2025. Toast took over the spot and created The Study. Anywhere Toast goes, its always a home run. They serve great food and each location is always a popular packed spot. I walked in today a little after 8:30am and there were already people chillin'. WiFi is free and its fast. You can study, relax and read in comfy chairs or choose a booth if you have a larger party. The owners really made a nice looking restaurant. The question is, does the restaurant serve the same quality as the main restaurants? Walking in, I see a bunch of baked good proudly on display. I have to go deep on my first visit so I ordered the Breakfast Bun. Two eggs (I had them scramble mine), American cheese on a freshly baked roll. The sandwich had a tomato aioli spread and I added a sausage patty for an additional up charge. Overall, this had to be one of the best B.E.C breakfast sandwiches I had in a very long time. What I like about this spot, I can grab a coffee to go throughout the day. I don't need to study, just a coffee to go and then food shopping. The breakfast was great, the lunch menu was equally impressive. Lots of wraps, salads and burgers?! And they serve alcohol as well?? Gimme somethin' to write on man! First things first, this place is popular and packed, which already tells you everything you need to know about the food and the vibes. Your first mission when you arrive is to find a seat, because it fills up fast! Once you're settled, you order at the counter. The menu isn't as big as Toast, but it's got some really great options, from parfaits to breakfast dishes and lunch items. I was recently at this establishment, which is part of TOAST restaurants here in my town....It's on a much smaller scale, but so relaxing and vibrant. We celebrated a friend's birthday, and it did not disappoint. We all had an amazing time!!!Their baked goods are delicious; their menu items scrumptious, and everything about this place is worthy of a visit. Go see Jimmy if you're in the area, who was at the front cashier...What a friendly young man. He was so accommodative and extremely pleasant. If you stay, they'll provide you with a number that also includes their Wi-Fi password. Their menu items and drinks are posted on the walls with prices clearly stated. We went on a late Sunday morning and luckily there wasn't a long line. I ordered the 3 village fry up, which felt very healthy and it was delicious. I didn't care for the horchata de arroz, but to each their own. My husband ordered a cruller with a vanilla bean latte. Would be back if I need a change of pace. Oh, The Study. How I wanted to adore you. Both the specialty coffee and meal I wanted were sold out. I was told they created a new coffee drink. My friend loved it. I thought it was awful. (Cherries and cinnamon). I ordered a Japanese chicken sandwich. Slightly but visibly burnt, dry, flavorless and definitely not served on cloud bread as the menu stated. No sides. And with tip? Went today to catch up with my sister. It's tucked back behind a shopping center. You definitely wouldn't know it was there unless someone told you about it. The inside was very quaint and cozy. Tons of seating. You order at the counter, they give you a number and bring your items to your table. Service is quick and efficient.... Lost a star on the food and beverages. We got a hash brown bowl and the potatoes were way underdone and my drink was barely luke warm. Maybe just an off day. We will definitely try it again read more

All I can say is that this place is magnificent! Toast has done it again by opening a unique venue in a location that no other restaurant could survive in. Hidden in every way, word is spreading and the location adds to the speakeasy meets library vibe. Great food? Great coffee? Cocktails? You get what you pay for so it won't come cheap, but reasonable pricing nonetheless. The cold brew Chamomile had just the right amount of sweetness and the Wagyu chopped cheese added class while removing some grease from a NYC staple. The Study is a great new addition to the Three Village area. I have been there twice, and had solid experiences each time. Two complaints: (1) they have no decaf espresso - the only decaf option is drip coffee. For a place that says it wants to focus on a great coffee experience, this is a weird omission. (2) I was excited to see a cardamom roll on the menu, and disappointed when the roll turned out to be stale. Since they make everything in house, that was also surprising. Those complaints aside, the rest of the food has been great. The chicken tenders are excellent and come out very fresh. We also had a "minglers' platter" from the Test Kitchen menu, and it was a very generous portion of 3 cheeses and two sausages, with not enough lavash crackers. All of it was tasty. They also sell their own bottled lemonade, very fresh tasting and not from concentrate. The ambiance is pleasant, with plenty of people hanging out in groups working on projects together or just chatting. The noise level has not been too high when I've been there. I always wondered how a restaurant to could survive in this location- in a row of offices behind a strip mall. The owners of The Study - Toast- think they're that good .. we walked in- to me it has the feel of a country store. No none greets you. After a while we figured out that you're supposed to place your order at the counter at the front- like McDonald's-then someone brings it to your table using a little stand with your number on it- like McDonald's. The menu is limited, a bunch of familiar things but with some trendy ingredients. We finally ordered, my wife-a wrap with scrambled eggs & trendy ingredients. I ordered a BEC but requested they skip the trendy ingredients & 2 big coffees . You pay there at the counter. That turned out to be 60 bucks with the suggested tip. They give you the coffee & you configure at a fixins bar nearby & go find a table. There are tables, some with sofas, some occupied by people with laptops, you know that kind of vibe. I checked out the bathroom- clean & trendy. The food came. No silverware. You had to retrieve it from a fixins setup on a piano in the corner, like McD used to offer when they offered condiments. The food- my wife raved about her Billionaires Wrap. Mine- I've had better at SeaPort Deli- I didn't finish it. And to cap it off- people were bussing their own tables- like McDonald's. This place is out of this world wonderful! I have been there 4 times and every time I am blown away by the device and servers. The coffee is delicious. I had the warm Banana Fosters coffee. my young daughter had the chocolate chip cookie. out of nowhere one of the chefs came out with a complimentary dessert for my daughter- it was a huge homemade marshmallow and sour patch rectangle with powdered sugar. He never came back so I could tell him how much that meant to us. He was like an angel that came in and out with a treat.
