I definitely found my new favorite bakery. This is only 2 miles from me which could get dangerous! Firstly the bakery is very open and welcoming. I like how part of what you can pick is self-serve that way you don't feel rushed because there are soooo many things to choose from. There was a great mix of sweet and savory - I picked an assortment to bring home to my family and we all decided to we'd need to return ASAP to try even more items. I didn't get to try the coffee, but they had a great assortment of lattes and matcha. The music playing added to the chill vibe of this place. Great spot for a casual date or a meet up with a friend - and something different for the area. We loved everything we tried - especially the milk bread!

Blueberry cream cheese danish, garlic cheese croissant, pistachio croissant/donut

Tried this place for the first time and I wasn't very impressed. I like how clean it is and that you can take your time deciding on which pastry you want. You can serve yourself cafeteria style vs looking through a display and panic ordering at the register. We ordered 3 pastries: blueberry cream cheese danish, garlic cream croissant, and chocolate dipped pistachio croissant/donut (forgot what it's called). The blueberry danish was my favorite. It had lots of buttery layers and a super glossy crunchy exterior. The cheese and blueberries were nice and balanced. The garlic cheese croissant was okayyyy. The exterior tasted like a toasted garlic knot but had a sweet cream on the inside? It didn't pair well and cream overpowered the garlic flavor. The pistachio croissant/donut was buttery and flaky but tastes little of pistachio. The pistachio cream was skimpy and mostly just tasted like butter. That was not worth the money. We got one hot pistachio latte which was overly sweet and just had a very artificial pistachio flavor. It was more sugar and less nutty which defeats the purpose. I asked for a cortado which is a standard coffee shop drink and the cashier didn't know what it was. She gave me two shots of espresso in a plastic cup and two oz cold milk in another. That was the best I could coach her but shouldn't have been my job. Everyone doesn't want 8oz of milk with their espresso. Lastly, for the price point and appearance of an upscale patisserie experience, the packaging was terrible. The pastries were put into plastic baggies, no different than what you'd get at the ShopRite self serve bakery area. We were planning to eat there and ended up eating out of these baggies which again, for the price, shouldn't be the case. I don't think it's worth the money and you're better off with a pastry from Lidl and espresso drink from any other local coffee shop. For a nicer experience, head to French workshop.

Welcome Tous Les Jours to Centereach! Note: if you bring your 1st receipt back within 7 days of receipt, you get a free drink or pastry. Note: there isn't a sign though using credit card has a 3% surcharge. I noticed the price changed on the register when I said I'm using credit card. Be aware: there is a $0.20 charge for a paper bag. They opened yesterday and it's the grand opening weekend. If you spend over $30, you get a free glass mug (not sure until when). It's a brightly lit space and plenty of light from the windows. The place has a lot of space with the food items in the center. Grab a tray, put a paper and use the tongs to put the food on the tray. You order drinks at the counter and the cakes can be found there too. There is a warmer to keep the necessary items warm. For a grand opening, they didn't have certain drinks: honey lemon tea or shaken tea latte. That is expected since they are new though something as simple as honey or lemon, that is questionable. I ordered an ube latte, which has a good amount of ube flavor, and iced shakerato, which has espresso shots infused with vanilla syrup and oatly milk and wasn't impresses. Food: Yuzu pie/stick - love this Honey cheese pancakes - a mochi like pancake with cream cheese filling (3) Ube Donut - has a good amount ube filling in the soft donut. Mont Blanc - doesn't game any Chestnut flavor or filling. If you are nearby, go try it and determine for yourself. Best wishes to your business.

I am so excited that Tous Les Jours just opened in Centereach.... literally walking distance from my house! It's such a cute spot with amazing pastries, coffee, and great service. It's about time we had more places like this around here! They've got some awesome opening specials too, if you spend $30, you get a free mug (which is adorable), and if you bring your receipt back, you can get a free coffee, latte, or pastry. Love that incentive to come back... not that I needed it! Now onto the good stuff: the food and drinks! The ube latte was delicious and smooth and you can add a shot of espresso for a little kick. I also tried the shakerato, super refreshing, and bonus: they offer plant-based milk options The pastries though... wow. You grab a tray and just load up on whatever catches your eye. My absolute favorite was the honey cheese pancake.... chewy, cheesy, soft, and that perfect sweet-savory balance. The croissants are flaky perfection (especially the strawberry and almond ones). The kimchi croquette was surprisingly flavorful and satisfying. The blueberry donut was soft, not overly sweet, and topped with just the right amount of sugar. And the garlic cheese bread had this addictive sweet-savory vibe I couldn't get enough of. They also have a great selection of savory breads and other options that I didn't get to photograph, but trust me, they're worth trying. Super cute place, friendly staff, and an all-around great experience. I'll definitely be back (probably too often ). So happy to have this spot in the neighborhood!

Tried their ube donut, loved the donut part but the cream didn't taste anything like ube. Obsessed with the honey cheese mochi pancake! Has the chewy consistency of mochi with some cream in the middle. Their morning bread is delicious too, like a soft roll with jam and butter in the middle. Hubby loves their kimchi croquette.

Such a cute and spacious bakery. They have so many options and I love that they have the nutrition info on everything displayed. Picked up a last minute cake and it was really phenomenal. The cake I originally wanted from here was out of stock but I am looking forward to trying it in the future. I also love that you can place pick up orders on their website for same day pick up. The employees seem like they're still in training.

Ube and matcha latte the ube was sooo good!

Food is good but they were pretty much empty and sold out on a Sunday at 4pm even if they still have 4 hours to go before closing at 8pm. Ambiance is nice very clean! I'll come back early next time!

I stopped by Tous Les Jours in Centereach and was honestly blown away by the variety! They offer an incredible selection of both sweet and savory pastries -- everything from flaky croissants and creamy custard buns to cheesy breads and soft, buttery rolls. Each item had its own unique flavor I stopped by Tous Les Jours in Centereach and was honestly blown away by the variety! They offer an incredible selection of both sweet and savory pastries -- everything from flaky croissants and creamy custard buns to cheesy breads and soft, buttery rolls. Each item had its own unique flavor and texture, which made it so fun (and delicious) to sample a little of everything. The Espresso Matcha was a standout -- bold, earthy, and surprisingly smooth. If you like matcha or coffee, it's definitely worth a try. On top of that, the service was quick and friendly, and the interior is clean, modern, and inviting -- perfect for a casual hangout or a quick grab-and-go treat. Highly recommend if you're into fresh baked goods, variety, and a chill vibe!

very pretty brand new location in centereach. the store itself is beautiful and everything still looks very clean and right out of the box. it's a small space but they managed to squeeze a good amount of seating in there. there's a large selection and all the food looks very fresh & was still stocked fully during mid-afternoon. prices are very fair, best of luck to this location.

The Cheese Claw shredded as we cut into it, and as you can see from the picture, was basically empty. The Boston Cream had the consistency of bread. All the donuts that were filled only had filling one side of the donut and were dry. They weren't tender or fresh. I'm questioning how long these donuts have been sitting on the shelf. The only thing that was fresh and delicious was the Rye with seeds. Great crust and soft, fresh bread. This used to be a great bakery but over the years the quality and consistency has really gone down.

Funny how I was at the Turkish place right next door a few months ago and never thought of trying it then! Well, I'm glad for the recommendation because this is a really nice bakery! The tables and seating struck me as soon as I walked in on top of the displays and how clean it was, I knew I found a great bakery! I ordered some rainbow cookies, a couple of eclairs and cream puffs. The rainbow cookies are without a doubt some of the best I've had in a long time. The cream puffs I was expecting custard filling but what I chose were the cream puffs filled with chocolate pudding instead, I didn't know there were choices but these did not disappoint, I love chocolate pudding and the flavor/texture was perfect, not too sweet. I called the bakery when I got home and they actually offer 3 types of cream puffs. Chocolate pudding, custard and cannoli filling. The pudding has the chocolate stripe on top, the custard is the plain dough sprinkled with powdered sugar and the cannoli cream puff has a little cannoli cream coming out of it with shavings on top. The eclairs were delicious but they only make the mini size! There are LOTS of pastries, varieties of cookies, cakes, cheescakes and breads. It's too bad I do not like coffee because there is an expresso bar for you to have with your favorite dessert! I will definitely be back, so much more to try here! Dolci Momenti, you have a new fan!!

The girl helping the people in front us was very friendly and wished the couple a happy 4th of July. She took our order, packed our items and sent us on our way. No thank you, no happy 4th of July. My husband and I are POC and we felt very slighted. I'm not sure I want to visit a place that is so racially biased. This experience put a sour note on our visit and I'll be more inclined to shop elsewhere.

There's a lot going on amidst the reviews of Dortoni, but I want my own write up to really focus on…read morethe here and now and the bakery aspect of this place (which by the way, is quite good). My wife and I have been here a few times and found Dortoni to be delightfully delicious. Well, for the most part. On our first trip we tried a whole bunch of different baked goods (pastries, cookies, crumbs, cakes, etc.), though one thing we were excited about was their take on the Dubai chocolate sensation via the form of a cake. Unfortunately, it kind of missed the mark, but if you take that snafu aside, everything else at Dortoni is fantastic. For instance, my wife's new favorite dessert is their cheesecake waffle cone (which is exactly what it sounds like). For me, I loved the key lime bomb which was out of this world. There's just a great selection of stuff here that makes you curious as to what they'll have each time you enter. Beyond the baked goods, I will say the staff has been super friendly. Both visits they were helpful, gave suggestions, and (though it was close to closing) offered us some rolls free of charge. It doesn't take a lot to make you feel welcome and they do more than that which is nice to see. Perhaps you won't see what is nothing more than a few tables inside this small spot that you can sit at, but I wouldn't say this is a horrible turnoff. Yeah, maybe Dortoni isn't your bakery/cafe that's going to be a place you stay and enjoy your goods, but it's definitely worth some items to-go. Overall, Dortoni in Port Jeff earns a visit. There are other locations (perhaps even one closer to me) that I might have to check out, but even if I do, I'll at least know that the quality and service in PJ is top notch. I'd gladly return here in the future (and I probably will knowing my wife's new obsession) and you should too!
