I am thoroughly unimpressed by their rainbow cake. If you have ever had the cereal, Fruitloops,…read morethat is exactly what this cake tasted and smelled like. It tasted like Fruitloop flavored cake with whipped cream. The cream icing was so light and airy, it tasted like diet whipped cream. I would assume that their bread is great, maybe I chose the wrong cake to try from this bakery because I feel like I just ate artificial corn syrup fruit cake. The aesthetic of the bakery is very pleasant and well put together, it does leave me wondering if the majority of the budget went to the face of the bakery instead of the ingredients of the cakes.

I ordered the French Vietnamese Au Lait along with a sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant. I never thought I'd wish I lived in Smithtown until that moment. The coffee was absolutely divine, and the breakfast sandwich was perfectly made. If you're someone who isn't used to drinking coffee, do yourself a favor and don't order the quad version and then wonder why you're awake all night! It's delicious, but it's packed with caffeine and definitely lives up to its name. The café itself is clean, cozy, and inviting. It's the perfect place to study, catch up on work, or curl up with a good book. I ended up pulling out my Kindle and finishing my book club read while I waited for Hobby Lobby to open, and it couldn't have been a better way to spend the morning. There's a small parking lot, but I had no trouble finding a spot. The restroom was also incredibly clean, which I always appreciate. The customer service was outstanding, and everyone made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I'll definitely be making the trip back to Smithtown for another visit. The coffee alone is worth the drive!

This little gem is in a busy shopping mall in Commack, facing Jericho Tpke across the street is a White Castle. I arrived in the store immediately and was greeted. It was about 10 am. This store was packed with so many people. Everyone wanted smoothies. I wanted to see what the rave was about. So I ordered one too. The green smoothie is yummy. His smoothie was amazing with a shot of wheatgrass. Yummy. The variety of vitamins was great. Customer service was amazing even though there was a crowd of people. The manager and worker stayed calm, made smoothies, and still smiled throughout the chaos. Pricing was reasonable. Yes, I will be visiting again for my wheatgrass shots, among other other items. This is a must go to place for nutrition.

But I'm a big hot chocolate fan, so I ordered a hot cocoa and treated myself to a lemon square. Both were delicious--the lemon square was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. It's such a cute little spot with a warm, cozy vibe. You could easily hang out here for a bit or get some work done on a laptop. The staff was super friendly, too. Brewology Coffee is a bright, clean, minimalist shop with a modern look and an upbeat atmosphere…read more Seating is somewhat limited, so it seems best suited to a quick coffee stop, although the space is comfortable enough for a short visit. The biggest positive was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions. I ordered a cold brew with nonfat milk but was disappointed to learn that nonfat was not available, so I went with 2% instead. Unfortunately, the coffee was bitter rather than smooth, which is normally one of the qualities I enjoy most about cold brew. I also tried the blueberry scone. It was just OK--perfectly edible, but not particularly memorable. For comparison, the cranberry walnut scone at Gregorys Coffee is considerably better. Brewology offers an extensive selection of creative drinks and attractive pastries, so other customers may have better luck with one of the specialty beverages. Still, the prices felt a bit high for what I received. Between the appealing setting, interesting menu, and exceptionally kind staff, there is potential here, but the coffee and scone did not quite justify the cost for me. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

It was the best Dubai Chocolate dessert that I have ever had because it was moderately sweet. The ones that I have had at other bakeries and restaurants are sickeningly sweet. The only negative at The Dirty Cheesecake is that the dessert cost $15, which is significantly higher than what I have paid elsewhere even though this one was the only one on a stick. The decor of the bakery-cafe was a craft bakery experience that exposed the ingredients and utensils they used to make their tasty desserts. The servers were professional and enjoyed creating my Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake on a stick. I highly recommend The Dirty Cheesecake.

Every bite was bursting with spices and freshness--definitely something I'll be dreaming about. Next up was the Dubai Love crepe, and let me just say: OMG, A MUST-HAVE! It was rich, sweet, and decadent in all the best ways, with the perfect balance of textures and flavors. If you have a sweet tooth, this dish will absolutely blow your mind. We also ordered the strawberry tea, which was so refreshing and fragrant--light, fruity, and just the right amount of sweetness. And don't even get me started on the pistachio coffee latte.
