The women working were so nice in offering suggestions and giving me time to decide since it was my first time there. I settled on their Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte, Apple Cider Loaf, and Vegan Blondie. The latte was really good. I've never had a latte with pieces of cereal in it. It was surprisingly delightful. The Apple Cider Loaf was good. I loved the cinnamon sugar topping and the loaf was perfectly baked. Now, this Vegan Blondie... Holy Cannoli. You need to run here and get this!!! You will thank me later. The flavor is just phenomenal and one of the best blondies I've ever had vegan or otherwise. -Clapping. I will be buying more of these. read more

I was in the area for work and I had an hour to kill and definitely needed coffee, so this is where I found myself! Upon walking in I was greeted instantly. The two girls behind the counter were so sweet, welcoming and helpful. I told them I've never been and they took the time to go over the menu and make suggestions. I ordered a toasted marshmallow latte and an açaí bowl. I didn't get a toasted marshmallow taste, but it was still good. The açaí bowl was very good. They have a little menu that you can pick and choose what you want in your bowl. I added some chocolate chips and coconut. It was so fresh, flavorful and filling. There's ample seating and WiFi available. I was able to get some work done while in a peaceful environment. For my medium latte and açaí bowl it was about $15. I'd say that's very reasonable. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area. read more

Ambiance: small, older, strip mall store front with a long service counter and a couple of tables up front and in back. Like a typical pizzeria style actually. Service was fast and accurate, the person making drinks was highly efficient. High five to her! Coffee and prices are on par with other mainstream coffee places. I live in Huntington where there's no lack of coffee but I still drive the ten minutes here because it's just better. Cold brew is excellent, pastries actually taste homemade, prices are very reasonable, and the cafe has an atmosphere and coziness that's lacking in most coffee shops. The previous owners were really sweet and the new owner is also friendly and always remembers your order if you come in frequently. read more

Was so happy to hear that they had decaf iced coffee. One of my pet peeves is coffee shops that pour the leftover hot decaf coffee into a container stick in refrigerator and sell as iced decaf. And that's exactly what I got. It had that burned bitter taste that I can't stand. Boo! read more

This place is great! I unfortunately do not live very close but stop in at least 1-2x a month. Very clean inside, clear shields everywhere, this places takes safety as seriously as you can for a coffee shop. I wish more places were like this. If you like a deep, flavorful (NOT burnt) cup of joe - this is it! I think it really is the best coffee in the area. The regular roast is quite delicious as well! I have been here a few times. It is located with a strip of stores and very little parking. I find the staff to be unwelcoming if you are not a regular. One time I went in and no one said hello or acknowledged I was there. I waited on line with one person in front of me paying for his order when another customer who came in was greeted and ask if he was having the usual. As the person behind the counter started to make this mans order he asked me what I wanted. Yes.. the man got his coffee before I even finished my order of a latte with skin milk. He left his money on the counter and walked out. Really!!! How rude. There are to many other options in Greenlawn to get a cup of coffee with a smile. read more

Long Island doesn't have enough of these mom and pop coffee spots. I had two Lavendar Lattes, one in South Carolina and one in NYC. It's a unique spring flavor that tastes funky. Last Friday I had a Honeysuckle Latte. See the trend? This isn't a syrup you buy and just pump. These folks infused simple syrup with this flavor to create something unique. I stopped in Urban coffee expecting the same. Its a nice little shop with an espresso machine and a bunch of pumped flavors that aren't homemade. I'd like a Cafe Breve please. Now I know a Cafe Breve espresso is made with half milk and half cream, I want to hear their version. I'm told their Cafe Breve is made with heavy cream. "Want any flavors?" I'm shown a list of flavors as well as all the pumps that are prepackaged. I decline and I go on my way. If you want a local neighborhood coffee shop to hang out and drink a cuppa joe then Urban Coffee is your spot. read more

Urban Coffee is fantastic-The food, drinks and atmosphere-It's a great local spot. I just needed to praise the staff on some public forum for taking such good care of my friend and her son, both who have severe allergies (milk and nuts). The staff went above and beyond to make sure the food was safe and It meant so much to both of us. They washed and cleaned the blender and double checked Ingredients to ensure the food was safe. When a loved one has severe allergies It is such a relief to come across a local eatery that is so accommodating. Now we always a safe-spot to eat right down the road. Super impressed!! I came here for the first time for a quick business meeting and it was very welcoming. The staff are super friendly and the space is also accommodating. There are a few places to sit and enjoy whatever you're having. I ordered the caramel macchiato with almond milk and it was yummy. Definitely had a homemade touch to it. Urban Coffee is just what Greenlawn needed. The coffee is decent but I really love their frozen stuff like the caramel ice scraper that is so decadent it should be outlawed. They usually have some good sweets there too. They had some pistachio muffins a while back that were fantastic. read more

As a long time resident of Huntington, I've been going to Urban Coffee back to the days when I was in high school and they first opened and I have to say that the shop really provides a great atmosphere (a bit better than Starbucks even!) and is definately a great place to grab a coffee and just sit and do some work or relax. Back in high school, me and my friends even did interviews for our documentaries at Urban Coffee because we all loved the setting and coffee so much! read more

There was an older gentleman that helped me and my friend decided what desserts and tea to get. They have really awesome breakfast bars and my friend bought all of them! Amazing love this place, the coffee and specialty drinks are great but also the the desserts are home made and so incredibly tasty. The ambiance is very nice no matter what time of day you come in, nice to see a small business actually flourishing. With special Sunday morning waffle bar and board games everywhere create a wonderful family friendly environment.
