This was such a lovely find and the coffee was so good. They also gave a massive menu so there's plenty of options for everyone. They also have food treats. I got the quiche which was delicious I just didn't get a picture of it because I ate it at work lol. Everyone is super nice inside and friendly. I LOVED the board of free coffee and treats that people donate is so cool. I highly recommend coming here I will ALWAYS tell everyone to go to small coffee shops. My wife and I each got a birthday latte, I got my birthday latte as a red eye so less milk, and we instantly had stomach pains and are so sick. I couldn't finish my coffee as I knew the stomach upset was due to the coffee, and after dumping my cup out the stringy residue on the bottom really creeped us out. Not sure what could be in the coffee to look like this, but very disappointed. Also couldn't taste the coffee, so not a strong coffee taste at all. read more

The best brewed coffee I've ever had. 16oz, hot, black. House blend, region- based, or even flavored (coconut) are brewed strong without any bitterness. Never had an espresso drink here. I give their cold brew the same review. Highly recommend! read more

I can see why the locals love this place! Outside is a bit unassuming but inside is surprisingly spacious, yet cozy. There are couches and tables around to take a seat, surrounded by woodwork and some potted plants. I admit that I walked in a bit confused, but the baristas were super kind and patient as I figured out what I wanted. They have quite a selection of classic coffee shop fare and flavored latte options! I went for a banana cream pie latte (creme de banana and condensed milk) and really was impressed by how good it was! It was sweet and full of banana flavor. Almost like drinking a Nesquik Banana Milk. A perfect pick me up as I knocked out a few hours of work on my laptop. Very disappointed with the attitude of the owner. I was in earlier with two friends and our three children. (A baby and a 3 & 4 year old.) We sat and drank our lattes while our little girls played around us. You would think this would be a family friendly place considering they have a little area with toys and games. The owner ( older woman w the curly hair) consistently gave us dirty looks and repeatedly said "this is not a playground". At one point our little girls were standing on one off the chairs and she said no jumping with I completely understand as that is a safely issue and I immediately had the girls sit down. The owner had every right to tell the girls not to jump, she was just very rude about it. She made us very uncomfortable with her dirty looks. We even had two women customers compliment the kids on being well behaved. I don't understand the owner's attitude, maybe she was having a bad day but her rudeness just cost her three customers who will not be returning read more

Muni's Coffee Joint is one of the best coffee shops that I have been to in a long time and I say that with all honesty. I have been to a lot of coffee places on Long Island and I have been itching to go back to this one the most. The way that Alice took care of my mom and I when we went to visit was the best service I have ever been given. The coffee was delicious and usually a lot of places don't get flavorings right when it comes to drinks like French Toast or Apple Fest. My mom loved the french toast, and she isn't one to have coffee with flavor in it, so when she says it is good and is obsessed that means IT IS GOOD! The Pumpkin Pecan Smoothie had me a little skeptical because I am not a huge pumpkin fan, but this smoothie was incredible! The use of the pumpkin pie filling and the candied pecans really brought the smoothie to a whole other level! read more

My friend Jenn has told me about this place for quite sometime. I was in the area and decided to stop in. So happy I did! I was greeted instantly by the employee behind the counter. I told him I'd never been before and he went over the menu offerings with me. Very kind and patient! When I asked about what sugar free syrups they had, they had much more than I would have thought! I had to ask him to tell me the list again due to the amount of options they had. I wasn't in the mood for a latte, although they all sounded so yummy! I went with a sugar free vanilla coffee with almond milk. Basic, I know...but it was so yummy! Coffee was super tasty. My mom ordered a white hot cocoa with added peppermint. She did enjoy it, but said it needed a little more peppermint. She also ordered a croissant. She said it was fresh and warm. The barista noted there are undertones of vanilla. My mom stated she was definitely tasting them. When I went to pay, I noticed a "Pay it forward board." If you can find a post-it with what you ordered, your drink is paid for. I loved this! A warm and inviting space, where Nautical Theme meets Pier One. Spacious and clean and the science project looking - cold brew equipment is certainly a conversation piece. Delicious, well paired coffee pastries fill the display case and cold items/beverages offered as well. Very friendly, bubbly staff. WiFi available and plenty of seating makes it feel like you just entered your best friends coffee nook. First time here, pretty steady crowd of Lindy locals trickled in one after another. Visit Date: June 6, 2019 Lindenhurst needed a new coffee shop since the spoon closed years ago. I found out Muni's was around and had to make a visit ASAP. Even though I had already planned to get a coffee from the regular coffee shop on the way to work that I love I had to stop by Muni's. I got an iced coffee and flavored beans. This is a small thing but being gluten free I was happy to know their compostable straws are corn based. I don't have celiac's just a gluten sensitivity but I recently learned that you need to be careful of paper and some compostable straws because they could have wheat in them. My iced coffee tasted good, I tasted it black before I put the milk in, I wouldn't say it was the smoothest coffee I had but it was good for sure. Hopefully I'll be just as pleased with the flavored beans once I brew them. I would come back to Muni's if I was in the area again and I'm happy Lindy has a coffee shop again. read more

I've been waiting for Muni's to open and they did not disappoint! The interior is lovely. I overheard someone say they felt like they were at a cafe out east. It definitely has that luxe beach vibe. The windows in the front get amazing natural light. The bar beneath the windows was really impressive to me because they have a lot of outlets. The rest of the furniture is very cute. A friend recommended I try the Rainbow Cookie Latte--a drink I normally would not be interested in. Well, I got it and I loved it. It's such a unique mix of flavors including raspberry and almond. I also tried my friend's Caramel Macchiato, which was really well made, and another friend's latte that had flavors of banana and chocolate. That one was so good I went back a couple of days later to get one for myself! I haven't tried the food but it looks great and I can't wait to try it. I needed a little pick me up on Halloween morning so we decided to try Muni's for the first time. First off it is such a cute spot. I love the decor, layout and the sign when you walk in with the seasonal flavors is very helpful. We ordered a french toast iced latte, rainbow cookie iced latte, pumpkin cookie and a piece of blueberry bread. The lattes were extremely flavorful, you actually felt like you were eating a rainbow cookie. Plus that real coffee house flavor comes through which always sets places like this apart from starbucks and dunkin for me. The baked goods were fresh, soft and delicious. They also had a great variety to choose from so there is absolutely something for everyone. Writing Happy Halloween on my cup was also the perfect add on. Such a cute coffee shop with a great selection of items. The staff is friendly and the artwork though out the shop really cute. I could def see myself hanging out with a coffee and reading it even working. The inside is a bit small but with COVID they've taken steps to use their space to ensure social distancing. They also have a cool wall of post-its where you can buy a coffee for someone of use a post-it that someone else left to get a coffee.
