( mind you their almond milk is made in house vs their coconut milk is regular store bought u can get at stop and shop) I've been waiting to talk to the owners and finally got a chance, explained it's an allergy I have to almonds and that's why I sub coconut milk and she was not kind or understanding. Simply said "well we don't do substitutions". I told her I am a loyal customer who spends over $60 a week here and her answer was "a lot of people do" lol well not me anymore. Now I can't rate on the food, but all the shots we have tried have been very effective, and the price point seems to be on par with other health food places. Every sip burned my throat because the ginger was so spicy. Thankfully I like assertive ginger flavor, but this required slow sipping of the smoothie. DD got a Thin Mint smoothie- very enticing flavor combo. She said it tasted like an Altoid, so very minty. Also note that they only had 24 oz or larger drinks due to 16 oz cups being out of stock. They are very friendly to people of all diets such as vegans, keto, vegetarians, gluten free, or body building type. The only complaint I have here are the prices. I hate to write bad review and be that person but I was really disappointed with my experience. I was greeted with an attitude by the girl named Lori, I said I normally go to energy fuel and get the green juice and right away she said to me "well I don't know what is in their green juice" with an attitude. Okay no problem she told me what ingredients were in their juice and I agreed to order. I pay with apple pay with all my transactions and the card machine did could not read the card from my phone for whatever reason so she asked me for the physical card which I do not carry. She then asked me for the card number which I did not have I only had the last 4. Then I let her take the next customer so I could log onto my bank app and get my full card info. I then told her I had the number and then again tells me with an attitude well I can't enter it in manually. How are you going to ask me for my card number and then tell me you can't enter it in. I then see her help the other customer with her order and roll her eyes and laugh bc of what had just occurred with my card. I asked her to try again and she's said "I can't keep using my credit card machine paper and basically shood me away! Ordering was easy, I walked up to the window and paid in cash. They also have online ordering but since it was my first time I had some questions and I also like to ask for suggestions. The woman there the day I went was apparently the owners mother, she was a doll and made sure my order was correct. I got a bunch of things.... The Dr. Detox smoothie (minus honey because not vegan), the Dr. Eliminator juice, the open face sammie, and to-go brownies. The juice and smoothie were very good. Although I'm not sure if the fruits and veggies they use are all organic, if they are I don't think they are labeled as such. I noticed their website says "We offer perfect nutrition with many options: raw juices, signature and specialty smoothies, raw, vegan, organic, GMO free and gluten free foods" so I'm really not sure. Would love to ask because i definitely prefer organic. The open faced sammie was really well balanced with avocado, spinach, and chickpeas... it was just a tad salty for me. Maybe a squeeze of lemon or something on top would've been good. It had good flavor though and I would probably get it again. For me, the brownies were not my favorite. They have chocolate chips in them which I'm not a fan of, I like my brownies to be mostly cakey. But I'll definitely try another baked good next time I go, I have a huge sweet tooth. I was quite hesitant to enter the restaurant because I noticed several customers not wearing face masks while inside. After waiting for the place to clear out, we ordered a Cool It Carsen and a Rise and Shine. Both juices were refreshing and delicious. My only request if I reorder the Rise and Shine, will be to have a little less celery juice as it sometimes overpowered the other ingredients. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and there's a ton of smoothie and protein shake options to choose from. We got omelettes for breakfast last week and they were delicious and good sized meals. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is it's a little pricey. I went back today and got a protein bowl which is basically the burrito bowl I get from moe's or chipotle but it costs $4 more. I know they most likely have better quality ingredients, which I'm happy about, but still. The manager/ owner of this place has no respect and lack of empathy. My brother was rushed to the ER right after he had a single bite of a CESAR SALAD WRAP. He is highly allergic to peanuts and tree-nuts which after he was having an allergic reaction we called juice n blends and asked what they make their cesar dressing with and she said cashews. We ordered online and it says NOTHING of this. Since when does cesar have cashews AND this is NOT written anywhere for the public to see. No one would ever expect cesar to have cashews.
