My order was ready by the time I got there. A quick in and out. It wasn't busy at the time of my visit, but the workers were bubbly and the place was clean. I ordered the Purple Dragon Smoothie and the Chickpea "Tuna" Sandwich. Both were really good. I did end up adding some honey to my smoothie when I got home, next time I'll ask them to make it a little sweeter. Other than that, it was perfect. Okay I've been visiting Lulu's ever since I moved in the area and they are probably the most authentic clean eating places I've been to. There's so many menu options to choose from. I can pick my detox or if I want a sweet smoothie they have that as well. The ambience is always so welcoming. Staff always greets you no matter how busy they are. Food safety is nonexistent at this location. The ingredients are good, fresh, and whole. But the entire staff is completely oblivious to handling food safely. Every time I come here I can observe the same thing. It goes like this: Walk in, say hi, place my order. Worker (with gloves on) takes my cash, hands me my change, then shakes hands with a regular that just walked in, then walks over to the station, pulls his pants up, scratches his head, checks his phone, and then wipes down the counter with the cloth cleaning rag. Then proceeds to touch all the fruit and ingredients going into the mixer, and to top it all off touches the inside of the cup and lid. All while never changing their gloves. So now the gloves have touched cash, customers hands, their pants, their hair, their phone, the dirty cleaning rag, and everything inside your smoothie. It's horrific to watch and all for the price of $13 for one small smoothie. read more

The bowls and the smoothies were not good and not bad, it was okay. I paid $12 for a small smoothie and my small bowl was $10.50. A bit steep for what I got. My friend paid the same. Now the workers here where very nice and even suggested what we could ordered that was popular. There is bar seating with a few tiny tables in the front. I was on my way to work, and was looking for a smoothie for breakfast. I found this place was on the way to work. It'd convenient if your commuting from the south shore Long Island heading west towards Queens. Surpisingly most smoothie places in my area don't open before 8am. There a small parking lot next to Gino's that you can pull into. I walked in and it was brightly lit, organized and clean. There's like a mini health food store to the shelves on the right. They sell healthy snacks, vegan snacks, supplements, and Terrasoul superfoods. I ordered the IcyAcai smoothie. I got the small size which was around $8. I noticed they also had fresh nut butters and fresh fruit. I paid, and my smoothie got made right away. I got my smoothie and drank it in my car on the way to work. It was super thick. It was good, not the best smoothie I had. Maybe next time I will ask them to add agave to it. When I reached the bottom of my smoothie, there was a chunk of something at the bottom. I think next time I'll ask them to blend it a bit longer. I recommend this place with some modifications. read more

Even the owner is conceded and wants to know everything about everyone and then make them feel bad. Also every time I went there's always a new person and one of them told me he tends to fire people in the matter of 1 hour just because of how they don't work fast and because its a new place and everyone learns said one girl.
