I have tried so many items off the menu from here, they have tons of different juices, smoothies and bowls, but I have to say I am partial to the acai bowls. I get mine with all the usual toppings, but I add the cacao nibs on top, which gives it a little bit more sweetness. I have had acai bowls from many locations and I have found that the one here is one of my favorites, because it doesn't have the artificial ingredients and the added sugars like most of the other ones do. Aside from everything being so fresh and delicious, the staff is also extremely friendly, educated, and helpful, and I always have a pleasant experience when I stop in. WOW oh WOW i have been at a loss since Dr. B Well in Plainview closed it's grocery to become restaurant/deli only. ALL the things I could order through them in bulk like herbs and spices, in fresh sealed bags were now impossible locally. Other 'health food' establishments were to far to shop at regularly. Now we in the general central part of Long Island have "Empowering Goods", with fabulous Smoothies and Juices, ALL Organic and very reasonably priced! Only disappointment to this Vegan was the use of 'local honey' in them. Honey of course being the ONLY food that keeps the hive happy, and prospering and certainly the loss of which may be seriously contributing to colony collapse disorder now threatening so many areas of our country where Bees are stressed by both single crops covering huge areas and the ubiquitous spraying of pesticides! One can of course request Agave in their drink but you must remember. A HUGE selection of supplements & Vitamins which have VEGAN selections in the hard to find Vegan versions like Vit. D. MY friend had just ordered 2 of a particular brand supplement through Amazon and was surprised to see the exact same item considerably cheaper on the shelf! There's also some packaged items- green powders, teas, trail mixes etc. The owner was able to answer any questions I had and recommended the Everyday Greens juice, which I loved. I love this place! The only juice place in Babylon has scary reviews so I drove out to get a smoothie bowl/acai bowl, it isn't that far away. It has a really relaxed vibe and the people are always SUPER nice. There's a huge variety of smoothies, juices, and bowls, and there's a ton of stuff to buy like spirulina, bulk (cheap) grains and fruits/nuts/pulses, health food snacks, wheatgrass juice, even housecleaning stuff. It's weird because it feels big and open and there's one aisle but the one aisle has everything! I reaaaally love coming here and I love their bowls, I only wish they came in variable sizes like the smoothies since sometimes I like to eat half of one now and half later. But they're always excellent. Worth the drive, and all their healthy goods are amazingly affordable. It's also a really quiet place to hang out if you want to eat/drink your smoothie/bowl there.
