Overall this place is awesome! I got the berry blast smoothie which was excellent and a bag of walnuts. Before I purchased the bag of walnuts, the owner offered me a sample of a walnut just to make sure it wasn't too stale, which I definitely appreciated as that showed me that he was focused on customer satisfaction, which is what all businesses should be doing. My boyfriend and I brought the new year with his best friend that lives in Long Island. I love to start my days with a smoothie or healthy drink versus coffee like so many other people. I searched Yelp for smoothies in his areas, although I called several places this was the only one open and I am glad it was. It was New Year's Day so I was surprised but happy. I had the Ironman smoothie and a shot ( can't remember now) everything was fresh and locally grown! The staff was very friendly, we sat and talked for sometime. I think I can officially say that I'm obsessed with this place. It's become our Saturday morning routine to go for smoothies/smoothi bowls and we're never disappointed. The purple bowl is my favorite, but everything on the menu has been awesome so far. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable, we love chatting with him. I was working in Lindenhurst for the day and was craving a smoothie. I checked on Yelp and found Empowering Goods. I was so pleased as soon as I walked in with the friendly staff. I ordered a Tropical Storm smoothie and it was delicious. A customer said I should try a lemon ginger cayenne shot. Well it was amazing!!! I can't wait until my next visit so I can try a Açaí bowl. Talk about need in the area! There is nothing healthy to eat in Lindenhurst a place like this we were in dire need of. Been back twice in two weeks. Tried the kale yeah smoothie which was pretty good and an açai bowl which was good. The owner is very nice seems to be very into health and wellness and is knowledgeable. I was so exited to hear the great reviews about this local business right by my house but I was severely disappointed with the acai bowl I ordered. Compared to other places it was expensive (which didn't bother me) and gave me barely any fruit and very bland granola. Some honey included probably would have made the granola better. Overall the establishment was friendly and clean, but I wish my bowl would've been better because I pass it everyday!
