I must admit I do not give this place the attention it deserves. Although it is a small storefront in Babylon, it sure does pack a punch! The amount of variety feels endless. There's smoothies, juices, wraps, desserts, wellness shots etc. It's almost overwhelming in a good way because you want to try everything. The only reason I do not is because my wallet would be crying! However, I definitely do need to make multiple trips so I can try more things here! Last visit I got one of their protein shakes and an almond lemon vegan loaf that were both out of this world. I cannot wait to try more which of course I will but in time lol. Tiny spot, very clean, lots of things to choose from on the menu. Food, drinks, snacks, smoothies etc. Great great options! Prices are what you expect for Babylon village aka little pricey but isn't everything nowadays? $10+ for a 16 oz juice, and that's not including add ons. They will also charge you almost a dollar more to use a debit or credit. Ive had a few different juices and smoothies, no food yet. All drinks I've had were good! My ONLY issue is that the staff members have the worst attitude. Initially I thought maybe it was an off day, my first time in there the woman in the front was rude. Just seemed as if helping me was a bother? But hey, everyone has bad days right? I went back again and a different girl much younger has a similar attitude. I happen to work in customer service so maybe I'm setting the bar high but a smile can go a long way. Just looking at me when I walk in as opposed to "hey what can I get for you?" Is also weird. When ordering they started making the drink before I paid the extremely ridiculous price that she did not ring up properly. When you substitute items you should replace them in computer not just do add ones for extra charges!!! Not bad, but not great either (hence the 3 star). Super small storefront and very friendly woman working I THINK she may have been the owner. -Buffalo Chickpea Wrap: 3/5, this was ok. The siracha sauce was really watery and the wrap just wasn't anything special. I was starving so it did the job but not something I'd get again. -Peanut Butter/Banana Smoothie: 3.5/5, the smoothie was pretty good. If I were to get it again I would sub out the almond milk base as it was really overpowering and gave too much of a "milky" texture and flavor. Overall, I think the food was alright. Poor management, poor service, and bait-and-switch practices. I placed an online order (paid in full) for bbq jackfruit fajitas. Right before I arrive to pick up the order, the cashier calls to say they "don't have jackfruit." Other items that are sold-out are listed as such on the website -- so why not the jackfruit? The cashier offers buffalo chicken as an alternative, which I accept since I am already around the corner from the restaurant (a 15-20 minute drive away from work). I get my order, get back to work, open it and it is chickpeas not chicken or even vegetarian chicken. I don't eat legumes, so I can't eat the fajitas. I call back and explain. The manager refuses to give me a refund and refuses to give me another dish as a replacement. She is a poorly trained manager and her refusal to refund me or even offer an alternative is a terrible business decision. She is losing a frequent customer over her refusal to provide a $15 refund. If business is struggling so much that she can't afford a $15 refund, the last thing she should be doing is turning regular customers away. read more

Me and my friend were in Lindenhurst, and we were looking for a smoothie place nearby. This place was about 10 minuets away. There is plenty of parking available in a public parking lot nearby. Upon entering, my first impression was that they're a very small establishment. There was only one cashier, and I didn't hear much people working in the back. I ordered the Emerald Green smoothie, and the broccoli and cheese soup. The smoothie was $6.25 and the soup was more than $7? My total was $14.93. Oh my gosh. I was so disappointed I love smoothies, and I have even worked at a vegan cafe for a short time making smoothies. I also make smoothies for myself on a daily basis, so you could say I'm a smoothie expert. The smoothie tasted like bitter water. The Emerald Green is suppose to have pineapple, spinach, celery, and almond milk. It tasted mostly of celery and water. It tasted like medicine honestly, the one no one wants to eat. I ended up bringing it home and adding more almond milk to it, and more pineapple. The broccoli and cheese soup did not look like broccoli and cheese. It looked like a broccoli chowder, and tasted like one too. It tasted okay, the soup had broccoli, carrots, onion, and potatoes? It was white in color. Didn't taste cheesy at all even for a vegan soup, it is possible to have a "cheesy flavor " but it was just not there. I'm reluctant to be going here again. They do have many vegan options though, Lots of baked goods and acai bowls that might be better? I noticed there was a sign that had discounts for students Monday through Friday on Acai bowls. Another thing I would like to point out, is that their branding is very confusing. Their store is called "Natural Blendz" in the store and Google Maps (Google maps spells Blends with an s). But online and signs in and outside the store say "Juice N' Blendz". So what exactly is the name of this store? Also it seems whoever organized the menu is very disorganized. There are multiple menus and laminated papers on the walls. With no clear prices on the items. I love this place! I have had several of their smoothies. The Coco Green, Purple Haze, Dr. Detox, Cinna-nanna Love and one that has carrot, ginger and cayenne (can't remember the name). My favs I think are the Purple Haze and the Coco green, and the Dr. Detox is great if you sub almond milk for alkaline water. Okay, okay - so I like 'em all. This is a great stop on the way home from the gym and a good workout. The medium sized smoothie comes to $6.13 with tax (can you tell how often I go?) which I feel to be a fair deal. I usually pair mine with hummus from home and a whole wheat pita, great for a healthy lunch. I've also been getting the chocolate chip cookies lately, and they're usually very good and will run you $2.25 for three, though one time, my box did have four. Don't tell the boy that though, since I always split them with him, shhhhh - he doesn't have to know about the extra cookie! No honey, there was only three cookies - and look how sweet I am, saving you exactly half of them! Well, it looks like a nice place. When you walk in it's a pleasant atmosphere. That's the positive. The negative is the "could care less and have better things to do" attitude at the register. And, once you get your order it's not great either coupled with an above average price tag. All in all this is a never again spot for me. Cheap on the additions, cheap all around. And a smile behind the counter is free, but you won't even get that, just a blank stare like a deer in the headlights. I would give no stars if I could. Stopped by Juice n'blendz for the first time ever yesterday afternoon at around 12:40 pm. What I thought would be a quick five minute pick up ended up being a fifteen minute inconvenience with poor customer service. The juice blend was for my daughter and I have no idea if it was good or bad, which doesn't really matter because I doubt I'll ever return. So we walk up to the store front and there is a big plastic partition, clearly they aren't taking walk-ins, which I imagine is a safety precaution due to COVID and I can understand that. My daughter places the order and I notice a tiny little sign, out of eye range, on the plastic partition that indicates if you are going to pay by credit card to place the order online and pay for it online. I nudge my daughter and she reads the sign and says to the woman taking the order (who by the way didn't ask how we planned to pay cash or charge which may have avoided this entire transaction in the first place) do I have to pay online, obviously annoyed, the woman grunts "yes". She then states "the order is in, so by the time it's ready, payment will go through, and you'll be all set". There is no QR code on the sign, the font on the sign is tiny with very little instructions and then when you get the website to finally pop-up you have to type in all your information while standing outside the store. I have a few suggestions for the store owner that may deliver a better customer experience: 1) Make your sign bigger and place it in a prominent position so that it is easy to see. 2) Ask your customers how they will pay and let them know about your process for credit card transactions. 3) Consider using a QR code so that it's easy for your customers to get to the menu/order/and payment area of your site. Maybe this business just caters to locals, from an outsider that has been working in the area for over twenty years, this isn't a shop that I'll ever walk up to again. I found Juice n' blendz on Yelp due to my other juice spots machine not working one day. I've had a wonderful experience since that time. So far I've had the Peanut Dream smoothie (good taste), The Buffalo chickpea wrap (delicious blend). I've also done the 3 day cleanse. I felt fully refreshed after. 18 juices made fresh daily for 3 days. Christina was very helpful and took time out to tell me what was in each juice and also the order in which to take it. I truly appreciate that. Yesterday I was on my way home from Queens and decided to check out the Massapequa store. I had the Peanut Butter Dream (good but a little too much liquid) and I also tried The Sweet Potato Quinoa wrap with avocado ( sooooo good). The Massapequa location is open later and has a wider selection of food with dinner options. I will definitely be returning to both. I'm about to place an order now. When I received my $13 meal, I got a couple spinach leaves, and chili juice. At this point I called the store to tell them and they said that quinoa was "out of season" until September like it was an exotic fruit instead of a grain you could buy in every food store at any time and when I inquired about the other items I was told that it was my problem AND I was hung up on. Visit Date: May 15, 2014 I believe this juice & smoothie bar used to be Natural Blendz and they either changed their name or changed ownership. I could be wrong about this though. I've sampled their smoothies before on occasion and they've been okay. The key lime smoothie was a little bitter, but the peanut butter chocolate one I had on another visit was good. On Thursday I stopped in here for some food because I've been trying to incorporate some healthy foods back into my diet. I figured gluten free & vegan were as healthy as you can get. After paying a total of $22 for a wrap, a salad and a piece of sea salt chocolate bark I don't know how vegans survive. I'm surprised they aren't all living in a cardboard box just to pay for lunch. So my main complaint about this place is the cost of the food. The smoothies seem to be on par with an average smoothie cost but it seems if you buy the pre-made food they're ripping you off. Not only was the food expensive but I got practically nothing for what I bought. The size of the salad was a joke and the wrap was a half wrap not a whole wrap. The food was kind of tasteless too and I don't think healthy food has to be tasteless. So my thoughts on this place, stick with smoothies and stay away from the pre-made food to go. read more

Ordered a smoothie here today. Let me know start off by saying I never leave reviews or bad mouth ANY business nor am I a cheap person. But this menu and the upcharges are just wild and feel like they are being made be a greedy business owner. I ordered a smoothie which I have ordered a few times at this place the SAME one every time and today it's cost almost $13. I asked for the break down because I never paid that much ever. I ask for them to sub out the almond mylk for coconut and they up charged $1, I explained to the owner that I have a food allergy to almonds and I don't understand why a substitution for milk for another milk was an extra dollar when a box of milk costs under $3 so I literally paid for probably a whole box of milk for her wholesale with my single smoothie. Her excuse was that the prices are the prices and they're on the menu and that coconut milk cost more than almond milk. Explain to her that I was allergic and she just shrugged her shoulders, on top of that they charge three dollars for a scoop of protein powder. It just doesn't make any sense their prices are out of control and the owner I believe is the female at the counter who doesn't show any sort of gratitude with her clientele. 5 stars on quality & consistency! I absolutely love this place & after trying countless acai bowls/smoothies I don't think I could go anywhere else. Definitely a loyal customer for life bc I can tell the difference of quality...but if you aren't familiar I will say you get what you pay for I guess lol. So some things you need to know: I get an acai bowl almost every day for breakfast & add the coconut & honey (which are included in most other places) Comes to $14 and change which is literally twice as much as other places. I HAPPILY pay the $14 with a smile on my face everyday bc it is the best of the best, quality ingredients & keeps me full most of the day. To me it's worth every penny, but for others hard to swallow. The juices and smoothies are priced normal. The employees have never been anything but friendly and helpful to me. They have patience when I ask questions. Went here to order for my friend who had raving reviews about the place. I was so excited to try it. I only knew what she wanted and had it written in my phone..the short dark haired woman behind the counter couldn't be bothered. I asked for just one second to open it up and then she walked away, started doing other tasks, etc. When she finally came back she said started to take my order with an attitude. Also wasn't wearing a mask and none of the other employees. Words cannot describe how utterly dissatisfied and disappointed I am of this juice bar. The owners are terribly rude, obnoxious and greedy. They are so mean to the customers, it almost feels aggressive. They are way overpriced, but because they are one of the only juice places in town, people will pay it. But, the attitude and service you get is sinful. They will charge you for illogical reasons, and not explain why. You feel rushed, unimportant, and a burden to them, whenever you place an order. I wish so badly they changed owners because the place had so much potential!! Juice Bars typically come with a positive, organic, and healthy vibe.. but this place does not.
