Came in today for a small snack before dinner. The place was clean, tables were wiped, everything was stocked and looked nice. I was helped by a woman named Catherine. Holy cow. This girl. All I can say is fantastic. THE MOST DOWN TO EARTH, HILARIOUS, KIND, PERSON I have ever met in a food store. She talked with me and we had a nice conversation and she actually likes to talk to her customers. She did not try to get rid of me or act as if she was bothered by people's presence. She had a wonderful personality and totally boosted my day. She was also very knowledgeable about the whole store in general and answered any questions I had. I usually love getting açaí bowls at this location. The food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly. I decided to Uber eats it today and this how is how much they filled my cup. I paid over $10 for an açaí bowl that is half full. This is actually ridiculous. They will never get my business again, going to start going to Beach bowls from now on. read more

My favorite acai bowl in Huntington-The granola is amazing (and generous portions!). Sometimes when I'm in a rush I order ahead, or get it delivered from door dash. I recommend adding peanut butter or cookie butter. The place is clean and service is quick. Everyone is always friendly whenever I walk in. I have converted several friends into acai bowl addicts after bringing them to SoBol. Perfect location in the heart of Huntington Village. Also compared to the amount I pay for acai bowls in Manhattan (usually upwards of $15!), the price here is under $10 (usually $7-8), making it super reasonable. 5/5--Go here. Just do it. read more

The açaí bowl was delicious! The restaurant was sparkling and clean, and staff was friendly and welcoming. It was my first time here, and the nice woman behind the counter didn't rush me, and just explained how it works there. I got a bowl with banana, honey, coconut, strawberry, blueberry, and Nutella. It's a bit pricy, but then again it is also Huntington village where everything is a bit more expensive. My bowl came out very quickly, and kept me full for hours! I'm sorry but $9 for this! I opted out for strawberries and blueberries and just wanted banana, really interesting how they couldn't swap it 2 for 1, there not even organic. I understand the peanut butter being an extra cost but this winded up being a lot more then I thought it would be, i wasn't going to get it but felt bad after ordering. Once again disappointed in this place....this is my second bad review it just gets worse every time I go back. The kids that are working there are miserable. No smile no nothing & talking to their friends cursing. My BF went in the bathroom and he said it was grimy & gross like it net gets cleaned. No paper towels which is a health code violation. Chemical cleaner on the floor which apparently aren't even being used but that's also a violation to have them in the bathroom open. There were banana peals, coconut shaving and just food all over the floor. It took them forever to make a smoothie my BF ordered. Idk who runs this place but the management is nowhere to be found. At first I ordered a kids size ($5.75) regular açaí bowl but after adding almond butter the price was bumped up to almost $8 so I upgraded to the normal size. Disclaimer: Pretty sure this establishment is not organic which makes it super expensive. $10 and change later for a regular sized açaí bowl with almond butter. 1 spoon of Almond butter alone is $1.20 In some SoBol locations they offer honey for customers to use as they please which is a PLUS* but at this location they keep it behind the counter and when you ask for some they pour it for you lol. Overall flavor of açaí bowls is good and they give you a generous portion however what turns me off about this location is the way they itemize every little thing. They could at least keep honey out for people to use when they want. read more

They seemed stressed and rushed since my smoothie was chunky and was dripping all over the cup. Seems like the logical thing here to do is hire more people during busy times. All acai bowls are not created equal !!! This is only my second acai bowl spot that I've tried but I have to say, it's my favorite. I thought when another acai place came to Huntington that it was a total fad and would fade quickly - I don't think they will ! What sets them apart ? Their homemade granola and peanut butter are delicious! It's the little things like this that really makes a difference. They also chop their strawberries which for some reason I prefer. I'm extremely disappointed in Sobol. I usually love this place and go here all the time without a problem. I ordered a regular size açaí bowl and they barely filled it up half way. I paid a lot of money for this and got less than what the smaller size açaí bowl would give. I probably got 3 blueberries it in also. I will never be returning here and can get a better açaí bowl somewhere else in huntington. read more

So...I'm a very loyal customer to SoBol. I am there every day spending a whole bunch of money on açaí for either me or my coworkers. Generally, the staff that's usually in there during the week is super friendly and super sweet and nice. Now the weekend staff....let's just say the two girls that were working there this morning (Saturday May 14th at 9am) we're not friendly at all. The girl taking my order rushed me before I could even finish giving my order and then the girl making the bowls gave me attitude when I asked for a handled bag because I was walking back to my job with them. She basically threw my food into the bag causing the bag to rip. I have never received this type of treatment from a place that I spend a good chunk of change at before. To the girls working, if you don't want to be there don't work weekends! I left so mad because the attitudes were unnecessary and rude. Something should be done about the way these girls are trained to do their jobs. What are they high school students??? I miss the old staff that used to be there. For some change is good, but for this location and me I hate the changes that have been brought to Huntington Village Sobol. read more

If you are looking for the best açaí bowl, look no further! Picked up two bowls and took my girlfriend down to the water to enjoy. The bowl and the view were perfect! The acai is not blended with ice like most I've had, and the granola is perfectly crunchy. The fruit is fresh, the staff is very friendly, and the store is immaculate! These acai bowls are addicting. I know acai is expensive hence the $7 price for the regular size bowls but if they were less expensive I'd have one every day! There's just the right mix of granola, acai and fresh fruit on top. They are also very careful about allergies-- although I am not allergic, i prefer no nuts and no coconut in my bowl and they always ask me if I have an allergy, I presume so that they know whether to use different equipment? The store is very clean and bright and they also sell a great cold brew iced coffee with a variety of milk to choose from. Love this place! read more
