What a great little find in the small village of cold spring harbor. We stopped here on a whim for lunch and had some great food and coffee. My wife and I split the shrimp and quinoa bowl, the chicken wrap, and two tacos. I know a lot of food, and we had plenty of leftovers, lol. The tacos were fire, some of the best basic shrimp tacos I've had in a while. The bowl was also very good and had a nice Chipotle mayo. The wrap was nice and fresh. We also got coffee and cookies for dessert. The chocolate chip cookies were awesome and a must try! Service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend this spot for either food, baked items, or just a cup of coffee! Enjoy!

Cute place in town and very convenient! We had sandwiches after our hike at the cold spring trail nearby and everyone was friendly and they have a lavender ice tea which was really tasty and will def go back bc of that!

Great little bakery on the main strip in cold Spring Harbor, one of the best coconut cakes I've ever had. Also the coffee toffee cookie was delicious. Can't wait to go back.

One of my favorite places to grab a quick, delicious breakfast! I love their Egg Avocado Wrap and their coffee is always SO good. The staff is super friendly and they have so many other treats available. Couldn't recommend it more!

A cute little sit down place for all your caffeine and brunch needs. They have a wide selection of sweet treats, drinks, and breakfast items. Located in a village setting, where you can use their outdoor seating or walk to the water. Highly recommended!

Super cute spot in Cold Spring Harbor! I loved the decor! My BLT was perfect with a chipotle mayo to spice it up and take it to the next level. The shining star however was the Greek Frappe. I'm very picky about where I get them and this place did not disappoint. I didn't get a chance to try their bakery but it looked (and smelled) delicious! Overall, this is definitely worth a pop in if you're in the area shopping walking or browsing!

Amazing hot chocolates. We hiked about 5 miles nearby just to somewhat afford the calories! I had the "Samoa " hot chocolate and it tasted just like the Girl Scout cookie. OMFG!

I visit cold spring harbor twice every year. It's my mini get away from the hustle and bustle of New York City. And every time I visit I like to try new places to eat or have coffee in this neighborhood even though I have my favorite (Sweetie Pies on Main). Last time I visited, the Gourmet Whaler was working on modernizing the place a bit hence I decided to wait. This time I went (Monday 26th 2022 around the lunch) they looked very inviting so I decided to grab something from there - BIG MISTAKE. As soon as I enter I see a "Barista" working on a coffee while a Caucasian lad (I feel like I need to specify race here a bit for specificity of my feelings) is standing at another counter. Not sure where I am supposed to be so I just wait around for the person to finish her work and acknowledge my presence. Meanwhile a Caucasian man comes in looks around behind the counter looks at me and decides to leave. Now I am not going to assume he is someone who takes orders and question him about the menu for he could be anyone, not necessarily an employee who serves. So I wait again. As soon as he leaves a Caucasian female comes to the counter where the lad is standing and takes his order, lo and behold I find myself feeling stupid that there is a number stand by that counter and it also has a sign that says order here. So I grab a number and stand behind the lad. In the meantime two Caucasian females enter and stand behind me. Now the lad ahead of me has already placed an order and has paid, so my turn right? Wrong the lady decides to answer her personal cell phone instead. Remember the Caucasian guy who saw me before he is back and again sees me standing waiting around at the counter to place an order but decides to address the ladies behind me if they want to order and proceeds to direct them where I stood before. At this point I decide to not waste my money on such an establishment where color of a person is given preference. In conclusion if u are brown or belong to any other ethnic background I would suggest stay away from this place and spend your hard earned money where it and you are appreciated and welcomed!!

Baja style fish tacos are the best on Long Island! Drive a good 40 minutes a few times per month just for these tacos.

From the moment you arrive, you can tell this is not just a farm stand -- it's a Long Island institution with heart, history, and soul. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, especially compared to the rush of everyday life. Whether you come on a quiet weekday or a busy weekend, there's something comforting about walking through the grounds, seeing families, kids, couples, and longtime locals all enjoying the space. It feels wholesome in the best possible way. The produce and baked goods are where Kerber's truly shines. Everything feels fresh, thoughtfully sourced, and seasonal. Their fruits and vegetables are vibrant and full of flavor, and the baked goods smell incredible the moment you walk inside. The pies are legendary for a reason -- flaky crusts, generous fillings, and that homemade taste that's hard to find these days. Apple pie, crumb pie, pumpkin pie -- you really can't go wrong. While I don't always expect an overly cheerful greeting, the service was very plain and lacked a smile. Even when I mentioned it was my first time, the staff seemed indifferent. I ordered an egg and cheddar cheese biscuit and a small coffee with sugar-free French vanilla and almond milk, which came to $15. I also picked up two mini pies for $14. The breakfast sandwich was okay, but for the price, I expected more cheese and a bit more flavor. However, the mini pastries were absolutely delicious! I would 100% come back just for those. The store itself was very clean.
