I love the consistency of Panera regardless of where you go to get some. Today decided to bring the parents in for lunch, talk about giving them an education on how/what can be potentially ordered. I will say an order for 3 persons that included: 1 Cuban pressed sandwich for pops, 1 French Onion soup bread bowl for mom and 1 Pick 2 that today consisted of a standard Mediterranean 1/2 sandwich & a cup of their French Onion soup (one of all time favorites), since Autumn Squash soup (my #1 Favorite : is now not in season and I didn't spot my typical back up of the Black Bean soup) on this locations menu, came our pretty quickly. By the time seats for 3 were found, beverages obtained, the food was up waiting for table transport and consumption :) The bread bowl was as expected, and mother really enjoyed. The Cuban Panini looked alight, and Dad said tasted like one for the most part, but he wasn't impressed with the toughness of the bread. I reminded him they press it, so it gets a bit more toasted, which leads to toughness of exterior typically. For my combo the soup was on point, but sandwich appeared a bit smaller than usual. In addition to falling apart with each bite. I washed it down with a cool Sweet Papaya Green Tea. This location had surpising clean restrooms for the it's larger size and even had separate spaces in front and back, for those whom wish not to be on top of the kitchen. Or those looking for quiet/street-parking lot view. All in all I can see myself potentially popping in at this location, if I don't decide to dine elsewhere on the strip. Huge parking lot in the back. I ordered lunch on the mobile app. I entered through the back and was directed and re-directed by staff members to go all the way to the front for pick-up. They were patient with me and helpful. (There's a mobile pick up spot all the way in the front.) Food was warm when I arrived a few minutes before my pick-up time. I got the"pick 2" order and chose half a chipotle chicken avocado melt & a small baja mac&cheese, which was new to the menu. I was very impressed by how much I enjoyed both. I don't usually go to Panera, but the mobile ordering was very convenient while I was across the street at the library. This is one of the bigger Panera locations I have been to. I have been to this Panera before and picked up food from there a few times. It is across from the library. If you have ever been to Panera, you can get a feel for it. Due to location, it isn't as large as some of the standalone ones, but there is more seating by the back entrance. The pastries are to the right of the registers and food pick up is to to the left. I have never experience too long of a line at the register, but I can see them get rushes with what is going on in town. The sandwiches and soups are fine. I prefer the turkey chili. There is nothing too special of you have been to a Panera...they are all kind of the same. The staff was friendly. Food was quick enough and fine. I am usually a huge fan of Panera. But this location I am not a fan of and I will probably never return. I ordered lunch on the mobile app and picked it up at my requested time. The only problem- there was a baby cockroach in my bag that had my lunch. I brought it back to the woman behind the counter and she seemed not phased in the slightest and just re-bagged my lunch. She was neither apologetic or sympathetic. I was so stunned I just walked out with my lunch, but after what I just saw I just placed it in the garbage. I wish I had a picture of the bug, but I just don't do bugs and was completely freaked out. Makes you think, if there was a baby roach there, where could the momma be hiding??? I don't usually go to chain restaurants when mom-and-pops are available, but since I was headed to the library for some research, I stopped in. So glad I did. The guy who took my order was really nice and conversational. He also knew a lot about what went into the food, which is a refreshing change from most places, certainly most chains. I got the Autumn squash soup and half a turkey, apple and cheddar sandwich with a blueberry-peach-mango dairy-free smoothie. The soup was sweet perfection! The smoothie was a perfect almondy twist. The sandwich tasted like Fall. I only wish he'd told me about the mayo (I don't love mayo). It was ready very quickly, and then the guy who made it came over to check on my meal. I told him about the mayo and he offered to make another sandwich! Is this a parallel universe, where service is excellent? Wow!!! 4 stars to 5! I highly recommend this Panera. Just stopped by Panera's in Huntington to grab a sandwich in between running errands. I ordered their Turkey & Avocado BLT. It's a fairly pricey sandwich at around $16, but I was hungry and was looking forward to it. However, when I got back to my car and bit into the sandwich, I found the turkey, avocado, and bacon were all ICE COLD! Not sort of cold, but ICE COLD. l mean, really--who orders a BLT and expects to get cold, soggy bacon??? For $16 no less! Had I not been parked 2 blocks away, and had it not been pouring rain outside, I would have taken the sandwich back. Needless to say, I won't be a repeat customer. read more

It's Panera. Always good, never amazing. I have been to lots of Panera locations but I go to this one and the one on Waverly Ave. in Patchogue the most often. Compared to that one, I like this one a little more. The bread is tastier (and more dense), the salads are fuller, they run out of stuff less often, and they make less order errors. All this said, it's still just Panera. It serves it's purpose, the staff is nice enough, and it's always satisfying! read more

I spotted this Panera on my way through Huntington and it looks like it has just opened, so I thought I would give it a try. When I went in, there was a larger than usual number of people working because several people were being trained. Normally that translates to me that the service would be slower than usual, but that was definitely not the case. The food came just as fast as ever. Since Panera offers basically the same food everywhere, I should talk about the location. The store is brand new, has a very open layout and is very, very clean. As a little bit of advice, since the store is on Main Street you should know that there is plenty of parking behind the store in you can't find anything in the front. Visited this location a couple days ago with my wife and I can honestly say this was the worst dining experience of the century. The first thing i noticed upon my arrival was a distasteful odor in the air. (To say the least...) The employee who was taking my order barley spoke any english the ordering process took a good 20 minutes. When i got to my table there were crumbs everywhere. Also the soup had tangy piss sort of taste. The manger was beyond awful; he offered no assistance as i found multiple hairs in my soup. He stated that it was my fault. But the hairs were blonde and I'm a brunette.. so that made no sense to me. long story short never going back to this restaurant again. I paid seventeen dollars for two egg sandwiches and drink this morning. I asked for the eggs to be over easy and they could not have been any more well done and rubbery!! The food is ok, like all other paneras, but the decaf coffee is always cold or, at best, lukewarm. Tried it a different times of day, same thing. If you point it out to staff, they will brew a new batch and add it to the coffee thats already in the serving canister, but it takes a long wait, and the coffee is still not at its best temperature. After many tries, i think i am done with this place. 10/19/18. Went in bc friends wanted a quick bite after 2 hrs at the library. Worst experience ever. Most coffee urns cold, as before. But the scary part was cockroaches - the place is teeming with them!!! We sat at a table diagonally across from the serving station, and on the wall next to the table we saw a bunch of them crawling along the moulding that runs above the tables through the length of the wall. We've been so excited for this place to open, and like all the healthy food options, but it wasn't till we went in that we remembered that they have great bagels too, something we can really use in town, since the bagel stores here have few competitors and lines out the door (not to mention less than patient staff to deal with their long lines). If you go to this location, you apparently have to ask for a bag. They didn't give me one automatically, nor did they ask me if I wanted one. That's the main problem of this location. The employees are lacking. Syosset Panera is better. Other than that, the food is ok, however ... Try the new butternut squash ravioli. SO GOOD. Asian chicken salad is pretty delicious too...and low calories! Try the mac & cheese, you won't regret it. I've read the reviews, and a lot of people are complaining about the service. I work 2 blocks away and come here often for lunch and never had a problem. Always enjoyed Panera. Went today after not having been there for a while. Sandwich selections changed. Nothing as appealing as I remembered prior. Settled for a turkey, apple, cheese served on soaking wet bread. Bread and ingredients were absolutely disgusting. If it wasn't take out I would have returned it instead of throwing it out. I really hate the people that work here, especially the people that are handling my food! the high school/college girls who take my orders are sweet but for someone who is spanish (me) and can understand every nasty thing those ladies say In the back who handle the food really need to get talked to ! because let me tell you the things that come out of their mouth cannot be said on here. this is by far the rudest panera I've ever went to and I go to panera regularly with my sister who has Down syndrome and loves talking to people meanwhile these people give her the cold shoulder then she asks me "why are they just staring at me?" way to go people. read more

Rude manager and lazy employees!! Food is gross, worse then other Paneras because the people who work there do not care. I waited 15 minutes to get my order taken and there was only one other person on line. I was ignored basically...almost walked out. Then when I asked the manager for help she told me I had to wait while she helped a customer. Really?? I am a customer....and she was not helping anyone else. The other one customer in the store agreed she was way rude. When I went to get my egg white sandwich, it was greasy and tasted nothing like real eggs. This location is very good at having the rapid pick up orders completed on time or early. Parking is always a challenge as the lot and street spots fill up around lunch time. Go to is the Mediterranean Veggie - great that you can customize on the app. They could spend more time cleaning the tables here as they are always full of crumbs. read more

Came in with a friend for a late nite snack, the cashier / attendant Phill was beyond knowledgeable about of all the products and what was best suited for my friends eating condition. Slowest Panera I have ever been too. If you are ordering to go, prepare that you'll be there for at least 25 minutes, and that's without a line and no one ahead of you. They have also forgotten to put things in my bag multiple times. Now I make sure to check the bag each time I leave to make sure everything is there. read more

I was very disappointed....after ordering, my husband and I were trying to find a clean place to sit. The dining area needed to be swept and tables wiped. When I went to pick up my food and asked if there was someone to clean up the dining room it fell on deaf ears. My husband summed it up... "I think Panera bread is going down hill".
