Ugh! There's no customer service. There's no communication the staff w their cell.phone With their TV on and focus on that ! Then the food Chicken salad was tasteless Salt pepper didn't even help The small Cole slaw was so full of vinegar it was unacceptable I've been coming here forever. I got the chicken salad platter, which was a massive portion of chicken salad, cole slaw, potato salad, and some veggies. It was all really tasty! My dad got the unpictured turkey dinner which he said was the best diner turkey dinner he's had in a long while. The service was quick and friendly. I've been going to Blue Angel diner for many years, but today was my last time stepping foot into this establishment. To my absolute horror and disgust, I was served a glass of water in a DIRTY, unwashed cup. There was a lipstick stain on it and an unidentifiable object in the water itself. Nauseating and unsanitary don't even begin to describe it - and it's a million times worse given we are still in a pandemic! When I said something to the waitress, she ignored me and just brought me a new glass of water. When I then flagged it to the manager, she denied that a dirty glass would ever be served. I proceeded to show her these pictures of the glass and the object in my water; she said, "oh, that was in there?" and then walked away. No remorse, no apology. NOTHING. So gross!!! It's small in size in comparison to most other diners, but I believe that is one of its attributes. The diner has a casual atmosphere with a combination of booths, tables and a long sit-down counter. Besides the cozy atmosphere, I do like the consistent fresh quality ingredients and the large sharable salads. When I dine here for lunch, I am a creature of habit; larges salad with a scoop of Tuna salad is my only choice off the menu. Another love I have for diners is the consistent pour of coffee. Compared to those popular coffee chains I believe I am saving money having coffee at a diner.
