I found this cafe on Yelp and have been dying to try it! I was so happy I was finally able to stop by today. As I walked in, the owner and the employee at the counter greeted me with big smiles. I mentioned it was my first time, and they walked me through the menu. The employee quickly took my sandwich order while the owner started making my mocha. I couldn't resist the pastries, they looked so delicious, so I had to grab a small cookie as well. My food was ready in about four minutes. I was very impressed with the sandwich; the portion size and the value were excellent. The bacon was perfectly crispy, and the egg and potato were so flavorful. The coffee was a little too hot, so I asked for two ice cubes, but it tasted delicious regardless. I am already excited for the next time I return to Syosset to visit The Station Café! Place is clean, tidy and has a homey feel. A few locals stopped in for lunch and snacks as well. Dog friendly and a few spaces outside to eat on nice days. Iris them decor. Fresh made cookies too. Is on corner a little place in Syosset town. 530- 3 pm M-- no weekend hours. Busiest in morning. A charming place and eye look ! to visit again soon. read more

Yesterday I and my friend stopped in for Lunch at the SC.I remind so many pizza when this was Cousins.The Cafe has a nice interior and very clean.We met the Owner, Vanessa.The food was very good.My friend had Chicken Fingers and French Fries, I had Fried Pickles and a Turkey Club.The SC has about 3 tables, fountain seats and a couple of tables outsides.The place is for Breakfast and Lunch.They have take in and delivery. Every LIRR station needs a coffee/food to go shop near it, I sat in this sweet cozy spotless cafe, many trains passed through and I barely heard them! So if you are waiting in a train, keep time so you don't miss it! The reviews were great so maybe my expectations were high. I got The Rails breakfast sandwich and was asked how I wanted the eggs. I always order over medium. The yolks were fully cooked like half scrambled, half fried eggs which meant there was not even a little runny yolk in the sandwich it tasted good - roll was perfect, bacon was beautiful, American cheese, and potatoes and peppers home fries. My latte was very weak and I had hoped for a strong coffee since they have an espresso machine and offer lattes. They have baked goods and plenty of sandwich offerings. Very cute place. Very cute cafe that's conveniently located near the train station. Very friendly servers. All the items are freshly made at the cafe. My favorite was The Frenchie. Just try it! Runny egg yolks and the cheese with the French toast sandwich was incredible. My daughter really liked the Philly Cheese Steak. The Burger and the Cauliflower Tacos are very good too. Yum! Sorry but not sorry to Dunkin but this is a way better option! Didn't know this cafe was here so close to the lirr station. Egg oozing out and bacon was delicious! I love small breakfast nooks and cafes and was looking forward to a nice breakfast here, only to see a handwritten sign on the door stating that the place is closed for the weekend. By all means enjoy your weekend, but communicate please! Update: thank you for your prompt reply. While you may have updated your weekend hours on social media, they were not updated here, on Yelp, which is how I found your establishment in the first place. Syosset finally has the type of casual, friendly cafe we've all been waiting and hoping for. Don't let what seems like a parking challenge keep you away. The Station Cafe shares a good-sized lot with La Cantina Bay and is also easily accessible by parking in one of the bump-out spaces across Jackson Avenue. Although my vegetarian diet limits my choices here, everything I've had has been really tasty and reasonably priced, especially the fresh blueberry and corn muffins. Not since Vinny Guarino's sandwich shop and Cousin's Pizza in the 1980's has this corner had an eatery so well-worth frequenting. The owners took a big risk in a tough business, so give them a shot and let's keep this corner shop occupied for a good long time! read more
