I was a bit skeptical of this place. I didn't even know it was a korean fried chicken spot till we drove closer to the location when my friend mentioned this place being good. Going in had the fast food vibes. Definitely very clean and lots of space! They definitely have a lot of options when it came to flavors for the wings. We had the Galbi / Secret sauce 50/50 mix 16 pieces total and a rose tteokbokki. The Galbi was on the sweeter side. Still good cause of the batter they made. Super crunch outside and inside super juicy. The Secret Sauce. I was perplexed on the flavor. It wasn't spicy at all. It had a bit of tang to it with im assuming garlic bits everywhere? They were both fried differently which gave it, it's own unique texture. Which I liked. The Rose Tteokbokki was good. It had a fusion of italian meets asian. Definitely has a kick to it which I liked. Overall this place is good ! It is definitely different from other korean fried chickens I've eaten. I would say it is a bit on the heavier side with the fried batter of the chicken. But hey, that is not consider a negative. I would love to try their burgers next time around with fries! read more

I tried again. I got burned again. Why even ask what time I want my food ready by, if the kitchen just fires every ticket that comes in? Is ANYONE reading the tickets before they fire them??? My food will have been sitting for half an hour by the time I'm able to pick it up, and will once again be room temperature by then. I spoke to staff on more than one occasion about this problem. Ambience - the decor and color scheme is reminiscent of Five Guys. Spartan and industrial. Food - we ordered: Spicy Galbi Wings - well seasoned fried wings and a sweet and spicy sauce drizzled over it. This was really good 4/5. Spicy Original Wings - no sauce, but fried in a spicy batter. Tried the Gangnam style wings. The flavor was so good. They tasted very sweet with a hint of spiciness. They were insanely crispy. You will need to take a shower after eating this cuz the sauce gets everywhere but it's worth it for the flavor. And I must say BB.q is my favorite out of all the chains. I am a bone-in kinda chicken wing gal but this place got the best boneless chicken. Ever. It's super juicy (must be thigh meat) and the coating is light, delicate and crunchy. Usually boneless wings are too salty with the breading and sauce but not here. Also the rose ttoppokki just comforts the soul it is so good! The staff is super nice and the place is spotless everytime. My only suggestion is, when ordering the whole chicken or large order of boneless wings, I wish I could choose any 2 flavors I would like half and half of. This is a chain that originally comes from Korea and is known for frying their chicken in olive oil, which, in the early 2000s, was the pinnacle of luxury. (In the year 2025, I am questioning why we were so bent on frying stuff in olive oil, an oil that is not best suited for frying) I've visited several times, and thoughts there are some seats in the store, I would say this location was largely built for take-out orders. It does take a bit for the orders to come out, even with the timed order-ahead-online feature. My favorite from bb.q is the "Golden Original" bone-in fried chicken. The bb.q original batter has this sweet flavor to it that I think is meant to complement the olive oil flavor. It comes out super crispy and tends to stay crisp for a longer time, in my opinion. My mom loves the "Cheesling" which unfortunately only comes boneless. I think the cheese powder is a little too sweet with the already-sweet batter, but it's got that cheese-flavored chips or snack vibe that is really addictive. I had the Gangnam and the Secret spicy sauces, honestly can't tell the difference between the two and I don't think the sauces stand out enough to be good additions to the chicken. We also got kimchi fried rice and mala tteokbokki (rice cakes). They were both just average, mala was very spicy as promised. Overall, I am glad a bb.q Chicken opened up near where I live so I could eat the Golden Original while its still hot and crispy. We ordered the Golden Original wings and a half chicken with their Secret Sauce--both were absolutely outstanding. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The sauces were incredible--especially that Secret Sauce... whatever's in it, it works! We also had an order of french fries--crispy, well-seasoned, and a great side to the main event. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast. We come at least once a month since they've opened. The chicken is so good. We've tried original, secret sauce, gangnam, soy garlic and all are too good to have a favorite. The original tteokbokki is pretty spicy so for a slightly milder spice try the Rose. The kimchi fried rice is ok. We've had it once and the rice was a bit hard and lacked a bit of flavor. A hidden favorite of ours are the onion rings. So crispy and onions sliced so thin. Oh and the Mandu (dumplings) are tasty as well. read more

The Garlic Soy and Hot Chicken Wings have always been Crispy and Extremely Moist & Fresh Tasting. I also have tried and can highly recommend the Kim Chee Fried Rice and Fried Dumplings too. Bb.q Chicken in Levittown NY is on a corner store next to Auto Zone off of Hempstead Turnpike in the shoping lot with plenty of parking and a few flags noting their business. It is a Korean Chicken place. They have a few combos with French fries. They have a large good selection of different types of chicken wings or boneless, but not of dark meat or legs and they have no sampler entrees to try a variety. Many canned and bottled drinks are available for purchase. They make each order fresh so it's a 15 or 20 minute wait. None of these factors deterred customers as It was late when I came to order and takeout and there were a good amount of people there. One of their side apps were a dumplings of pork and vegetables nicely cooked with 2 individual soy packets. The chicken wings I ordered were cooked well and tasty. The box they came in was great as it was made of cardboard and firm easily holding the hot chicken pieces. While their competitors do have dark meat and legs, when in the area, if I am so inclined I would stop by for wings again. read more
