After following them on Instagram and Facebook for what seems forever, I finally decided to try them out, and I'm glad that I did! I went with the full sized Thai bowl and homemade strawberry pop-tart! The full sized was HUGE! Since I've never ordered before, I didn't know the size differences. Ordering a "full" was more than enough, but I was able to make three meals out of it. Absolutely delicious! Zucchini noodles, broccoli, carrots, lime, chopped peanuts and a peanut sauce. What a wonderful marriage of flavors. My mouth and belly were very happy with the overflow of delicious flavors. And it's all healthy! Guilt-free meal for sure! Now the pop-tart! The pop-tart was a special. Only strawberry and blueberry were available. I went with strawberry! Vegan and gluten free, you can't go wrong. Flavor was on point, and didn't taste artificial at all or overwhelming with sugar. They have absolutely "won" me as a customer! Had a great experience at Green Street Eatery in Levittown. The owner is so friendly and helpful. I tried the Seoul Bowl, the Rainbow Bowl, side of roasted brussel sprouts and a side of roasted Korean cauliflower, rice pudding and an oatmeal whookie pie. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. I have Celiac Disease and didn't have an issue with anything. The Rainbow Bowl was my favorite--the yum yum sauce on it is incredible. The Green Street Food Truck is awesome!!!! It's an all vegan all gluten-free food truck with a menu that's enjoyable for anyone! Most of their options are deliciously healthy and plant-based but they do usually have a couple of options (like french fries, nachos and pancakes) to satisfy those who are looking for more indulgent items. Everything I've had has always been fresh and tasty and my non-vegan friends and family have enjoyed the food as well. It's incredibly refreshing to have such healthy options at a food truck and I hope that other food truck owners will recognize their success and follow suit! The prices are reasonable and accurately reflective of the quantity and quality of food. They make the food fairly quickly and are able to run everything smoothly, even when they're dealing with a crowd (which they oftentimes are because they're so popular). This food truck is excellent, I had tried it one other time when they had just started but have gotten even better! I got to a festival late so I anticipated them running out of the new buffalo chick pea options. I decided on ordering the southwest bowl and was not disappointed at all! Dear readers, it's not often I rush to click the 5 star button on Yelp. Anyone who's read my other reviews knows that in an admittedly tough critic, not easily won over. I've had very delicious food, I've had mediocre food. I've had delicious food that was delivered with poor service and vice versa. For me, a five star review is about the entire experience. Whether you're dining with linen and china or your food is handed in a box. My experience at Green Street this past weekend falls into the latter category. Was it a 5 star box? You bet it was! I've been following them for some time on Instagram, they set up shop (truck!) all around my neighborhood. Close to home and work. I finally got my act together and made it for brunch on food truck Saturday in Levittown. Their menu was posted that morning so I had a good idea what I wanted, a breakfast bowl. It was described as having a little something of everything I was in the mood for: tofu scramble, roasted potatoes, temple bacon, cashew sour cream etc. When I arrived at the lot, I noticed that of the handful of trucks, the line at Green Street was longest! Not unmanageable or excessive long wait time, but a good sign that the food was good and had developed a local following. Being a long time vegetarian and more recent vegan with a handful of assorted mild food allergies, it's not always to eat with peace of mind and enjoy. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this glorious brown box. Very reasonably priced, extremely fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully put together. One of my favorite parts was that the man in the truck served me with a smile. He literally smiled when he handed me the box. It was one of the most memorable $8 boxes of food and made my day feel pretty special. People might assume that dietary preferences such as mine make food less enjoyable, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Especially with places like a Green Street coming to my home town. Do I sound like Kathy Bates #1 fan obsessed Misery character? Maybe. Now if you'll excuse me I must go vote for them EVERY 5 minutes to win News 12 Food Fight. The healthiest and best food truck on Long Island. Everything is 100% plant-based vegan, gluten free, and predominantly whole foods, which is hard to find, even in a restaurant. The food is tasty and healthy, not drowning in oil or deep fried. The Vietnamese Fries are excellent, they have a nice smoky flavor, and the nachos are yummy (although next time we'll ask for no olives). Tried for the first time today after following them on Instagram for a while, got the mango/banana smoothie which was fresh and delicious, a southwest breakfast bowl which was cooked to perfection with added cashew cheese, but the highlight was for sure the waffle fruit bowl with a date caramel sauce, if i could purchase the sauce for my own use i would! As someone currently dairy free this place hit the spot and was clean, fast and friendly service. Even a non vegan/dairy free friend was highly impressed with her coffee and breakfast tacos.
