    I love this food truck
    Alexis M.

I came here with my friend to try the only Puerto Rican food truck that we saw on TikTok. The truck is right next to the stew Leonards in east meadow with tons of parking. I'm so excited that there is a Puerto Rican food vendor in Nassau County because they aren't a lot of Puerto Ricans here. I was so happy to support and I'm glad i did. It was pretty busy that they give you a beeper to wait in the car. I ordered the boribowl and it was to die for. It was $16 and came with so much food. They are only open Thursday to Sunday evenings. I would definitely come back to try other food options. Please give this family owned Puerto Rican business a try in Nassau county!

Absolutely incredible!!! Real authentic Puerto Rican food. The service was super friendly!!! We got the tostones, jabarito, and Bori bowl and all I can say is WOW!! The flavors of these dishes are just beyond amazing!!! The roast pork of the bori bowl was so juicy and fresh, one of the best I've ever had! If you happen to drive by this truck do not hesitate to stop and grab some incredible food. You won't regret it!!! This is now our new favorite spot!!

Flavorful Puerto Rican cuisine that is a bit on the pricer side considering truck food but outstanding in terms of taste. Pernil was moist, sweet plantains were knock out and I wouldn't hesitate to have the Jibarito again. This is a meal that would have been more satisfying eating on the beach leading to more fruitful ambiance and experience, but for what it's worth a very good meal and everyone was happy with their choice.

Best Puerto Rican food truck on the island. Her menu changes every so often but whenever there is a new menu item you have to try it because she never disappoints. My top favorite items are everything. I can't even choose but if I had to pick the top one it would be the empanacos.

Different / Puerto Rican food choices from food truck Bori bits . I'm told the Mac cheese mix with waffle bits and maple syrup was delicious. This truck was at the new event at the St. Francis de Chantel in Wantagh. (See pix) Tip: want more really good food? Check out Joshua craft food truck In Levittown of Wantaugh Ave.

Came across this food truck on Instagram. Finally decided to try it out and it was worth it. Food was tasty and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful with trying to decide what to order. Definitely check them out.

The food is delicious and you get a lot of it. The truck is no longer on Front street but on N Wantagh avenue in Hicksville.

As an overall, it was absolutely delicious and amazing. I couldn't agree more about it and many thanks to my polite and friendliest server named Diego for keeping me company and welcome. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

First, the customer service was excellent--the host was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The space itself is very small, about 9-10 tables total, but gave you that eating with your family vibe, talking at the table and listening to spanish music. The bathroom was clean but it had a shower, which was definitely... different. Now for the food. I ordered the fried red snapper with yellow rice and pigeon peas, salad and unfortunately it had no flavor at all. The rice was dry and tasted like there was no sofrito or seasoning, which was disappointing for a Puerto Rican spot. My sister's pork chops were actually very good--probably the highlight of the meal. They also don't serve alcohol, so I had a Coco Rico while my sister had water. Overall, while the service was great, the food didn't live up to the hype for me. I expected bold, authentic Puerto Rican flavors, and it just wasn't there. Also, I wish they offered plain Yellow Spanish Rice as well as white rice options. I'm glad I tried it, but I won't be returning. If you go, try the pork chops--that's your best bet. And if you're really looking for authentic Puerto Rican food, you're better off heading to Sofrito in Manhattan or grabbing cuchifritos uptown--they don't miss.

If you really think about it the Dominican food has taken over the Bx. I searched, and found this place. The moment you step in you are greeted with the warmest blessings. The 2 beautiful people that worked there made our time there so memorable. The food was out of this world let me tell you. Also, I will say it is AFFORDABLE. portion size was huge and the place was so CLEAN. Food: Pernil: 10/10 flavorful and tender Yellow (arroz con gandules) and Black rice with the beans: 10/10 both were good and couldn't even decide which one was better Pulpo 9/10 : fresh and tangy, cut into small pieces so you can top it on your rice Alcapurrias: 8/10 great and made differently then what I'm used to but it was sooo good I'd come again for this alone Juices: Ask them to try the juices and they will let you. We tried it all. Came home with passion fruit (parcha) and guyaba (guanabana) Delicious 10/10 It was so fresh and they don't add too much ice so you get all the juice taste. All in all I'm coming here from now on. A true BX staple for the community and a true essence of the Bori pride resides here. If you miss PR, come here.

They also have a lot of variety so I plan on trying something new next time. The lady working there said that sometimes they make guanimes (some people call them guanimos) which I have never been able to find outside of PR. I hope I get to try them at this place. First time having Puerto Rican food. Would go again. Food was amazing. The mofongo con pernil was perfect. The service was great. I'm guessing they sold a lot already that day as the chicken still had to cook for approximately 2 more hours at that point. With that, I opted for the pernil. It was flavorful but some pieces were slightly dry. I may have gotten the end of a batch, because the guy next to me also ordered pernil and all of the pieces looked juicy and were hot. The vibe inside is authentic Puerto Rican. They've got the checkered tablecloth along with the condiments on all tables. The place is small - wait to be seated if you're eating there or order at the counter if you placing an order to go. I also got arroz con gandules, black beans, tostones & a salad. Yes, I brought home leftovers. At the moment, they're selling bottles of coquito for the holidays. It's a little steep in my opinion, at $45 per bottle. Cash only. But, they will also accept Venmo & Zelle. I think there was a third option to electronically send money. A very affordable meal for sure. Without tip, my total came to just under $27. A neighborhood spot and a NYC institution... Casa Adela.
