went here for lunch and was amazed at all the delicious choices they had on the menu. we were seated promptly by our waiter who was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the spicy fried shrimp and the Conch sea snails with noodles both was delicious. Chrissy had the stir fried chicken gizzards and she said they were very flavorful and tender. the place has a nice dining area too sit and enjoy your meal. will definitely be returning to try something else on their menu.

This is based on delivery. Chicken was hot and crispy when it arrived. Actually the calamari was crispy to. They did forget the marinara sauce. However still good When I was checking out I saw corn for like 5$. I said what the hell. Omg this should be called crack corn. I woke up at 3 am to finish it. Sosososo tasty

The service continues to be great - attentive and courteous but not annoying. We got the rice cake noodles with ramen this time along with everything else - level 2. I enjoy spicy things and the level 2 was perfect for myself and the kids. The only thing was that the rice cake should have simmered longer as once eaten it's a little bland, so we just dipped it more into the soup on the bottom and I'll just simmer it when I get home. They continue to be very clean, bright, and cute decor.

Cute lil dining area w about 6 very spacious tables. Our server, who also serves as a host, was very attentive and nice. I ordered the Cajun fries, which surprisingly is the best I've ever had by far. It has this tang and super spice to it. Must try. Also had the soy garlic wings, which were good as well but not as crispy as i would've preferred . I've been told by someone that this is the real Korean fried chicken, unlike MFC, which is Americanized. So I'll let you be the judge of that. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the boneless whole chicken thighs. (I thought they were a tad chewy) But my son devoured 80% of the plate. Overall I would come back and try some of their other dishes like the bulgolgi rice and their crispy chicken sandwiches. Alongside have more of their delicious Cajun fries.

Small but really cute. Owner was extremely nice, service was great even though it got really busy on a random Tuesday night. Food was a 10. We loved the bulgogi bowl.

I live close by so I come here more often than I should! I always get the combo B Korean wings. It's always finished without any leftovers lol I also enjoyed the sea conch salad it has a nice kick to it. Also enjoyed the unique cider and draft beers Service is friendly as usual Cute Korean decor and ambiance. Love the music too.

Had to stop in to try the infamous Pelicana chicken and it definitely lived up to the hype. The place itself has a nice vibe - perfect for brunch - and the chicken is as good as they say. Crunchy and tasty, with just the right amount of seasonings. The slaw in the sandwich was the perfect touch. The fries were delicious - crispy and also perfectly seasoned. My only gripe; it is a bit pricey. They don't have a lunch menu. But otherwise it's a great place for dinner.

Half n half- soy garlic/spicy chicken and tteokbokki

ordered takeout and ate it by the harbor--a vibe solid chicken but I'll have to order more pickled radish on the side (bc I eat a lot of those when I eat chicken), solid spicy tteokbokki

2 cute guys working at Pelicana tonight. Not only nice but with good sense of humor. Fried chicken 1/2 dark meat has no bones and cost about 18.00 but there's many pieces in the box . Comes with a small container of their cubed radishes too. Lots of different kinds of drinks for sale. And really cue displays.

Excellent Korean fried chicken joint that gives its hometown rival Mad for Chicken a run for it's money. Tried the spicy soy garlic and spicy yangyum wings and both were excellent. (The wings were equal parts crunchy, spicy, and saucy and had tons of flavor).

I made a reservation for two on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was pretty busy, but they had our table ready even though we arrived 30 minutes early. Our server was Evelyn, and she was so sweet and she helped us when we were trying to decide between two desserts and three appetizers. We ordered: - Spring Salad (5/5) this tasted so good with the fresh mango, the snap peas, and the carrot ginger dressing. - Faroe Islands Salmon (5/5) I only tasted the rice, and not the salmon itself, but the rice was so good, and I just kept on stealing more from the plate. - Roasted-Half Chicken (4/5) This was my own entrée, and I loved how the chicken was crispy, and I also really liked the garlic mashed potatoes, but the only thing that I did not think worked well with the dish was the swiss chard. I think it would've tasted better with spinach. - Strawberry Cheesecake (4/5) this was surprisingly very light for a cheesecake, we ended up finishing all of it, and the whipped cream was really good. The strawberries were not my favorite, I kind of wish that they were just fresh slices of strawberries, but to each their own. All in all, this was a super solid meal, there's plenty of parking, and the restaurant is quite spacious, and the single bathrooms are also pretty large.

Unfortunately, the meat had an oddly gamey flavor that immediately raised questions about the quality or freshness. The sauce itself was decent, but it wasn't enough to save the ribs. For entrées, we ordered the steak frites and the half chicken. The steak was maybe a 5/10, and that's being generous. The meat itself was underwhelming, and the accompanying steak sauce actually made matters worse rather than complementing it. Even stranger was the side salad, which somehow had a noticeable fishy smell and taste--definitely not something you expect from a fresh salad. The half chicken was easily the biggest disappointment. It had an unpleasant flavor that came across as spoiled or rotten, to the point where it was difficult to eat. The potatoes alongside it were about a 4/10--bland and forgettable. Overall, much of the food had the taste and texture of something that had been frozen and reheated rather than freshly prepared. Ironically, the fries may have been the best thing we ate all night. Then again, fries are a pretty low bar to clear--and thankfully, they managed not to mess those up. The restaurant was also a bit chilly inside, which didn't help the experience. And on a less serious note, the Diet Coke deserves a mention. Put it next to a McDonald's Diet Coke--and we all know McDonald's is the gold standard--and this one is just sad. I don't enjoy leaving overly negative reviews, but when you're paying restaurant prices, there should be a baseline expectation of freshness and quality. Between the questionable ribs, fishy salad, poor steak, and especially the chicken, this meal fell well below that standard. Food: 3/10 Atmosphere: 6/10 Fries: Somehow the MVP

They started with a complimentary shrimp appetizer, but unfortunately we told the server we did not eat shrimp. He was surprised but then asked if we might like edamame, which we did. The shrimp dish did look good and was surprised they would give a more expensive complimentary dish. Anyway, nice menu and all tasty . My only negative comment is to recommend NOT to sit at the table in front of the door . In the warmer weather I can see they will have outdoor seating on the patio, which could be nice.

The only negative about the ambiance was that it was quite loud. The high ceilings didn't do much to absorb sound, so it was hard to hear my companion unless we leaned forward and spoke pretty loudly. The booth was very comfortable, the table spotless, and even the menu was clean (a small pet peeve of mine). The tap water came in a beautiful glass with a straw, although the water itself tasted a bit chemical-like. They have a lunch menu with very reasonable prices. We ordered a sushi-sashimi combo and stir-fried soba with vegetables. The lunch menu is limited, so they also gave us the regular menu. Oddly, only 1 regular menu was provided for 2 people, so we had to keep passing it back and forth. It's an easy fix that would make browsing much easier. We ended up ordering an appetizer and a signature roll from the regular menu too. The lunch specials came with salad or soup. We chose the salad, which was mostly romaine with a typical Japanese dressing. The portion was larger than expected for a side salad, and the lettuce was fresh and crunchy. Our appetizer was the Lobster Tapas: "Spicy lobster & shrimp wrapped with seared pepper tuna." This was delicious. There were 5 little towers with very fresh ingredients and 2 excellent sauces--a chunky green sauce and a sweeter orange sauce. The tuna was flavorful and very tender. At this point we were already planning to come back with the rest of the family. Next came the sushi-sashimi combo. There were 9 pieces of sashimi beautifully presented on ice, plus 3 pieces of sushi and a spicy tuna roll. The sashimi was very fresh, tender, and flavorful, especially the tuna. Unfortunately, the spicy tuna roll was the weak point. It tasted dry, lacked flavor, and seemed to contain far more crunchy fillers than tuna. It reminded me of a meatball with too much breadcrumb and not enough meat. I'd rather have a smaller roll with better-quality fish than a larger one padded with fillers. The spicy tropical roll was also disappointing. It too seemed to contain more fillers than fish, and the sauce was a little too sweet. It didn't taste fish-forward enough for a "signature" roll. The flavors leaned more fusion than authentic Japanese. If ingredient cost is the issue, I'd gladly pay a few dollars more for a better fish-to-filler ratio. The stir-fried soba with "vegetables" was also disappointing. The noodles didn't taste like Japanese buckwheat soba, and the both the taste + presentation reminded me of instant ramen. The flavor was decent but nothing memorable, and there were only a few pieces of zucchini--nowhere near enough vegetables to justify the name of the dish. The service was good overall. Our server was very sweet and friendly but definitely could use more training. While we were both trying to read the single menu, she interrupted to take our order instead of asking if we needed another minute--or even better, bringing us a second menu. Not a huge issue, but not especially pro or polished. As we were finishing, we ordered a couple of takeout items for a family member. The server kindly offered to package our leftovers with the takeout, which was appreciated. However, when the bill arrived, 1 of the takeout dishes was missing. It took a while to get her attention, and when we did, she reprinted the check without explaining how much longer the forgotten item would take. She did swing back to say she'd ask the chef to expedite, but we still waited quite a while, making us late for a meeting. As for the takeout, the Valentine Roll was just ok, similar to the signature roll we had at lunch. We also ordered a tuna roll, yellowtail roll, and sweet potato roll. None were bad, but they lacked the flavor we expected. Whether it was the rice or the ingredients, they just didn't stand out. Overall, it was a nice lunch. The beautiful restaurant, fresh sashimi, generous salad, and excellent appetizer showed a lot of promise. Unfortunately, too many of the rolls relied on fillers instead of fish, the soba missed the mark, and there were a few service missteps. They're very close--just a handful of small, doable improvements could elevate the experience from okay to outstanding. I hope they do.

We decided to order from the price fixe menu since it was restaurant week. We both started with the New England Clam Chowder and it was perfectly seasoned and had a nice amount of clams, potato and croutons for texture. Wonderfully flavorful and it was good portion. Next we decided on the main courses, wifey chose the chicken scallopini with linguine; I chose the rigatoni bolognese - mostly because that was her second choice. We absolutely loved the food, portions were huge and flavors were absolutely top notch. We managed to get so full from off the entrees that we managed to have some leftovers for our kids to enjoy back at home. Of course we had to leave some room for desert. I didn't take a picture of it but we loved the carrot cake. If you're ever in the area, or can make it with reservations it is absolutely worth every effort to make it to this restaurant. Food was amazing, service was spectacular and the ambiance is chic and pleasant.

During the winter months I'd do takeout and every time the food was great at home. I love their soba noodles salad when it's in season, however they switched to a different noodle and it doesn't have the same oomph! The owner recognizes me from all the times I've been there for dining in, takeout, called, and parties and events. I went there again last night with some family and overall it was very nice. One star deduction for the rudeness we received from the manager. She came over after we ordered a second bottle of the Freemark Abbey (wine) (as they were completely out and the first bottle we ordered was their last bottle in stock) and gave us two "similar" options that were around the same price of the first bottle. Price doesn't equal to taste. We first asked if it's okay to try it even if we may not like it, and she kindly proceeded to open the bottle. We said "no thanks," to the Keever (it tasted disgusting in comparison), which she and her colleague highly suggested, and we asked nicely if the other bottle was an option to try, but she swiftly walked back inside with both bottles and brought out an open bottle of the Katherine Cab. We liked that better. She stormed away after she said something fast and nasty like "It's either the bottle or you have to pay per glass." We didn't quite catch it but the ultimatum put a bad taste in everyone's mouths. We wound up ordering the Katherine Cab. When we got the bill the server charged us fairly. We tipped well because it's not the server's fault she was upset about opening the wine that she pushed. Happy eats!
