    Mimosa flights
    Kelsey S.

We stopped here on a rainy Sunday for some brunch. We had to wait about 30 minutes as it was very packed. Once we got seated, we ordered mimosa flights. They have different flavors. I love the pineapple, coconut, one, and blueberry lemonade one as well. They had a lot of options on their menu for brunch and lunch. I ordered the eggs Benedict with bacon on top. Also a side of cheesy grits. Everything was fabulous. The food was so good. Now I know why everyone comes here for brunch. It is definitely worth a stop.

Here's the Scoop! Came here for breakfast with my honey and son. Haven't been here in a while. The hostess is very welcoming and seats you quickly . No long waits. The menu is chock full of goodies. My honey had the 3 Ring Circus which had 2 eggs your way, sausage or bacon, red potatoes and pancakes. The portions were very nice and tasty. Had a pomegranate mimosa and it was delicious. The noise volume average for a room full of families. Seating is comfortable. Service is quick and waitresses are very helpful with the menu. Overall my experience was very Pleasant and the only issue I have is the pancakes were dry even with bananas and walnut with powdered sugar drizzle. I was very surprised at this. That's my only qualm about my experience. It's definitely is worth a visit though.

Finally back to this toast location after 4 yrs. Had another amazing breakfast at toast which always hits the spot. Our waiter was awesome, very helpful & recommended bring drinks & items on the menu. I had the 3 ring circus & a martini espresso. The restaurant was busy but not too loud & lots of birthday celebrations.

I love coming to Toast! I brought my friend here for the first time and she loved it too. I always get the avocado BLT omelette, which she ended up ordering as well. You really can't go wrong with an omelette and some home fries. What I really come here for though besides the coffee is the creamsicle mimosa with the white sugar rim. It's so good! My friend got a mimosa and enjoyed it too.The service is always great 10/10 great to catch up with a friend.I'll always make the drive for this place.

Service was EXCELLENT. Busy spot for a Monday morning! Obviously a local fave. But they seated us quickly. Restaurant was bustling, but not too loud. Nice outdoor patio setting in the sun too. Coffee arrived fast and was dark and delicious. Big cups, the kind Teddy Roosevelt would've appreciated. The mimosa was delicious too. They have some fun mimosa flights but I wasn't ready to start stumbling. THE BEST VEGAN OMELET IVE EVER HAD. Flavors were so good. House fries were tasty and seasoned. Gluten free bread available. And gluten free pancake options too! 10/10. Can't wait to come back. Lovely brunch.

Went back - didn't disappoint. Fall coffee flight 8/10 - their caramel apple latte is amazing. Toast smash burger 9/10 - I would just add lettuce, tomato, and onions (but that's personal burger preference). Nutella French toast 9/10 Apple crumb pancake 7/10

Went during the middle of week over the holidays. Really great customer service, got seated right away and the waitress was very attentive. All the food was great, especially the blueberry pancakes. Had the blueberry gin fizz as my drink and it was a miss for me. Tasted very watered down. Love the ambience of this place. Very cozy and I love the decor. Would definitely come back. Bathroom is a bit of a far walk.

    Three Ring Circus

Great brunch spot in a great location. The three ring circus is a good option since you get a little assortment- eggs, meat, pancakes and home fries. Definitely recommend using their waitlist as well!

Good hearty homemade food that lacks seasoning. Poached eggs were overdone. Requested well done fries but they weren't prepared as requested. Portions are generous and a lot of people ended up taking home leftovers. Very busy on weekends. Breakfast and lunch only They have a loyalty program which gets you cash back on your bill online or in the Restaurant or you an save it for a future order.

Another great visit at Toast in Bay Shore. Service is always great, kids options are solid. I did a special lobster Benny this time - the lobster was a bit shredded and disappointing, but flavor-wise it hit the spot. They also hooked my little one up with a courtesy side of bacon, which made the day. One drag was the booth we were in was really tattered, needs to be reupholstered. Still my go to for brunch in the area, even with some saturated and new competition.

I've been to a few brunch places on LI and this is by far the best. First of all, service is quick. They have a virtual waiting list, which is awesome because you don't have to wait in person. It tells you exactly how many people are before you. You can arrive on time and your table is waiting. Chef's kiss Second of all, drinks are on point they have mimosa flights. Third, the place is decorated nicely and there are parking lots on both sides of the restaurant. Fourth, the food is excellent. Portions are large. I will be returning! Oh, and all the servers are so nice and friendly. Can't go wrong coming here! check it out!

Lovely place to catch up with a girlfriend. We each ordered a mimosa flight. What a fun way to taste the different mimosas without committing. Each one was amazing but the pomegranate mimosa was both of our favorite! The flavors complimented the champagne and balanced each other. BLT omelet was very tasty but the potatoes that came with it were the real winners! French toast smelled almost as good as it tasted. I also ordered the crème brûlée latte which had the perfect balance of foam, sweetness, and flavor. Our waiter was so nice and gave us plenty of time to sit and chat without being intrusive.

    Avocado Skillet

It's been a while since my husband and I visited Toast Coffeehouse but we are so happy we stopped in. The food was so good. We ended up getting the Avocado Skillet, Dig Me Omelette, Tres Leches Egg Nog French Toast with Blueberry Lemonades. The French Toast was more like a bread pudding in texture, thick but not overly sweet. The flavors melded well together. It was definitely worth trying out. The Skillet and Omelette were well seasoned. The breakfast potatoes were a little salty for us, so if you have any salt sensitivities please be aware of this. Our waitress was very pleasant and professional and assisted us in better understanding the menu options. She was kind. The environment was how we remembered a bit noisy but that can happen when everyone is enjoying their food. We'll absolutely visit again in the near future.

First we ordered the bread basket because we were starving. That was a little disappointing because the first piece of bread was dry. Also, it bums me out to pay for pre-dinner bread. Even the local pizzeria serves a very delicious offering of bread before dinner but I guess because ITA is elevated Italian, perhaps it's a little too casual for an upscale restaurant. So, the bad news is they forgot to hold the stratiacella cheese. Then when my pasta came out, it was cooked past al dente. I was disappointed but so hungry. So I ate it. Then as I was putting the leftovers in the bag, to take home, I decided to say something to the waitress. Having to reheat it would cook the already overcooked, would turn it in to mush. And that was a $28 pasta dish, not including the crown. So I decided to mention it to the waitress because I'm sure they would rather me tell them, than give a bad review. They immediately apologized and offered to make a brand new dish to take home. On top of that, they also comp'd to desserts!! The Rainbow Cookie Crumb Cake, which was divine, and the Pistashio Cheesecake, also outstanding. So they get an extra star for treating the customer right!! I would recommend and come back again. I would order the Spicy Rigatoni again and skip the bread basket. Also, it's very cute inside. Insta worthy.

Do not come here looking for a massive, gluttonous burger, but do come for a quality, carefully built and tasty one. Your 8oz burger may seem smallish when it first arrives, but thats because it comes on a bun that is the right size - not a bunch of extra bread. My girlfriend really liked the turkey burger option and the waffle sweet potato fries - but she was not a fan of the marshmallow dipping sauce and stuck to bbq. I had a standard burger with some bacon and onion straws. She was a little surprised that lettuce and tomato were not standard and automatic (this was said after the burgers arrived - I assume that they are on the menu for customization if you want them), but enjoyed her burger nonetheless. $25 is a bit high for a burger, so this will not be a weekly stop, but once in a while on the way through Babylon for a simple, tasty meal, absolutely. Service is attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is noisy, but I would not call it overly loud - music was not blaring and conversation could be maintained at normal levels. This was on Sunday - early evening - I will make no assumptions about a busy Friday or Saturday night - I can imagine it gets quite lively.

Although this review is late, I still remember the exact experiences because I was blown away from this lunch after I had high expectati one and disappointment from their brunch! Mother's Day Brunch 2/5: My grandparents used to take my mom to Sunday brunch when she was younger many many years ago! My parents have went there for brunch multiple times and it was fantastic on a Sunday! My only experience with the brunch was the Mother's Day one and it was severely disappointing after every single person's rave reviews! There was a couple of trays and it was confusing because it was supposed to be kind of between a breakfast and lunch theme, but it was early iand the selections were very very limited and mostly food you wouldn't want to eat at 11 o'clock in the morning like eggplant roll a teeny or heavy dishes like that! Food 5/5: I ordered the Caesar salad and filet with mashed potatoes. The salad was super fresh and they definitely loaded it with extra cheese and croutons and did not charge me! Steak came out well seasoned with a very nice charge on it, perfect maillard! The mashed potatoes were delicious! My husband got the French onion soup, blue point oysters and the salmon dish. The oysters were fresh, and the salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I don't eat French onion soup, and the presentation and the amount of cheese in the soup was something worthy of a magazine photo shoot. Hands-down, it was the best French onion soup he ever had and he orders that a lot and still dreams about itheird until this day! Service 5/5: I have zero complaints about their service because I've only had exceptional wait staff there... once again during the brunch things got a little chaotic, but the staff was able to pull it together; find us a table and overall make the situation go by seamlessly. Ambiance 3/5: if you were seated near a window by the water, you get a beautiful waterfront views. The interior is a little outdated and because they throw a lot of weddings and catered bench. There was kind of disappointed to see that for the prices ambience wasn't as upscale because the prices are! I will give this place another chance for the brunch because it was a holiday and I know Food can suffer because of that (even though it shouldn't ) and definitely for the lunch because like I said one of the best of my life! It would've been a 5 based on lunch, but like I said, I had way higher expectations for their "known" brunches I will go with a 3 out of f5 not letting ambience affect my decision because it's a place on the water and it's sometimes nice to have that kind of low-key vibe but like I said, they definitely charge fine dining prices! -1 ambiance -1 Mother's Day brunch quality I will update my review when I check out the branch and go for another amazing lunch or dinner! I feel like a lot of times when restaurants try to do crowd then use they fall short and makes their overall name suffer and I feel like that's what's happened in this case!
