This was my second time at a Toast but the first time at this location. It was a bit nostalgic for me as the building used to house a bar my husband and I frequented many, many years ago. Needless to say even though the footprint was basically the same the interior has been changed is very open and inviting. A friend and I were there for lunch around 1:30 on a Monday. No issue getting a table and were seated immediately. Katie our server was very nice, pleasant and efficient. Drink were brought out quickly and our order taken. My friend got an omelet special with Irish bangers and cheese with home fries and rye toast. She enjoyed the omelet and I have to say the rye bread was outstanding. Don't think it's made in house but were ever they get it from is really good. I got a lunch special of Pot Roast sandwich with onions, mushrooms and cheese on thick cut bread. We stopped here on a rainy Sunday for some brunch. We had to wait about 30 minutes as it was very packed. Once we got seated, we ordered mimosa flights. They have different flavors. I love the pineapple, coconut, one, and blueberry lemonade one as well. They had a lot of options on their menu for brunch and lunch. I ordered the eggs Benedict with bacon on top. Each one was amazing but the pomegranate mimosa was both of our favorite! The flavors complimented the champagne and balanced each other. We ended up getting the Avocado Skillet, Dig Me Omelette, Tres Leches Egg Nog French Toast with Blueberry Lemonades. The French Toast was more like a bread pudding in texture, thick but not overly sweet. The flavors melded well together. It was definitely worth trying out. The Skillet and Omelette were well seasoned. The breakfast potatoes were a little salty for us, so if you have any salt sensitivities please be aware of this. There is generally a line to get in, but they are very organized. , and you can go on line and get on their waiting list, which moves quickly and they are on top of. My boyfriend has been wanting us to come here and I am so glad we finally made it. Upon walking in we added our names to the list there was a wait 45 min. but it did move quickly. They gave a apple jam on the side that I didn't bother using it didn't add anything to the dish for me. Great portion to share. I can't wait to visit again. Since I moved on Long Island I have been looking for a delicious Cuban and i finally found it. The sandwich was huge and the pork was seasoned to perfection. She liked the braised pork Benedict.. and because it was the seasonal item she favored it bevause it wasn't going to be on the menu for too long - i ate EVERY LAST BITE! My husband got the steak and eggs and he loved it so much that he said this was his new fave brunch spot. Usually he asks for ketchup and puts it over everything but he stated that the food was so good that he did not ask for it!!! The coffee was also delicious. My cappuccino was served in a mug you'd have as part of your collection at home coincidentally it was a Halloween mug that featured cats dressed as ghosts.
