My son and his friend wanted to go for ice cream and we usually go to Old Fashioned Ice Cream Shop on Straight Path. But they don't have indoor seating and I just got a new car 2 days ago. No way was I letting 3 teens in my car with ice cream. His friend recommended Coyle's off Sunrise Highway. I can't believe we've never stopped here before! It was all decorated for Christmas and had friendly old ice cream shop / diner vibes with plenty of booths and counter seats. It was empty because it was 5 pm on one of the coldest days of the year. They have a wide selection of homemade ice cream flavors, plus soft serve, waffle cones, waffle bowls, their own sundae creations, and ice cream cakes and other treats to take home. I got a cannoli and Irish cream cup, my son got pistachio, and his friend got mint chip and Nutella. My daughter got a hot chocolate that she also enjoyed. I'd say it's easily comparable to OFICS, but the seating and atmosphere takes it to the next level. We will definitely be back -- ideally when the weather warms up!

Where has this place been all my life! Now it is the most economical but it is delicious! & they don't skimp on the scoops! They have sooo many options! I tried a few and ultimately went with the cookies and crème with crunchies! My daughter went basic as well with chocolate and sprinkles. They do allow you to taste flavors so if you are feeling adventurous , I saw go for it! You likely will not be disappointed. I typically go to carvel for ice cream cakes, but this might by new go to! Oo and they have two different types of ice creams. Hard ice cream and soft ice cream. I asked what the difference is and they said soft ice cream is soft serve the artificial stuff that you get from the ice cream truck. The hard Ice cream is the ice cream made in house . Aka the good stuff. You're gonna wanna go for the hard ice cream!

Not fresh - sold me freeze burnt sundae looks like it's been sitting in the freezer for years

I would consider myself the world's foremost leading expert on Cookies 'n Cream...and this place knocked it out of the park. The key thing you look for is the color and the Oreo volume (the more Oreos, the grayer the ice cream). This place has the perfect shade of gray (no pun intended). As a point of comparison, think of all those places where it's completely white except for a few micro particles of Oreo. Oh and hats off to the staff for a nice healthy portion.

Stopped by this place last weekend. At first, we thought they also served frozen yogurt but we were wrong. Instead of walking out, our eyes were locked onto the abundant homemade ice cream flavors they have in stock. Anything you wish you try, they will give you a sample spoonful. My wife ordered a small ice cream in a cup for about $6.50 and the portion was literally a scoop and a half. I had a waffle cone which comes in 3 scoops and that was around $10. Definitely flavorful and the portion is to be applauded for. If you happen to opt for their waffle cone dipped in either chocolate or rainbow sprinkle, there is zero up-charge. The service was impeccable and we enjoyed the whole interior vibe of a diner feel. Definitely a high recommend for me and deserving of 5 stars.

Yummy ice cream! So many flavors! Just a bit pricey, but the blackout of '65 is my favorite.

When we arrived with our party of seven, the line was out the door. Since it was a nice summer night, a line was to be expected, but the issue was that there were only two staff members working to serve a huge crowd. It took a very long time to get to the front, and when we were finally served, I asked for caramel on my ice cream. The gentleman barely put any on, so I asked if he could add a bit more. He said yes, but then immediately proceeded to serve the next customer. As I stood there holding my melting ice cream, I had to ask the other server to remind him about the topping. I had to wait until he finished helping the next person before he finally added it--mostly dumping it onto one side so it started dripping over, without offering a napkin or anything to clean it up. The ice cream itself was okay, but the service definitely left a lot to be desired.

I have personally tried a few flavors on there own in previous visits which usually hits the spot. This last time I opted to upgrade to one of their suggested menu sundaes: "Salty Munchie Sundae" and oh goodness was it super sweet and very filling. I literally had to pause and freeze half for the next day. Nonetheless, if you have a sweet tooth and a big empty tummy feel free to give it a whirl. My Mr had the brownie sundae and was able to finish with ease. Service is super friendly and pretty quick, so if in the neighborhood looking for a treat outside of a bakery item, pop in here. :)

The açaí bowls are delicious, and they offer a great variety of crepes with plenty of toppings to choose from. My favorite thing to get when I go is the froyo. They have so many flavor options, including low-calorie and sugar-free choices, so there's something for everyone. It's the perfect spot for a sweet treat and definitely one of my go to places!

I ordered the Berry Wild Crêpe--strawberries, blackberries, blueberries & Nutella. The crêpe maker…read moretold me that the recipe calls for only two tablespoons of each fruit and lots of Nutella. Because I am watching my weight, I asked for more fruit and less Nutella. The crêpe was pale, thick, and doughy, but the filling was tasty. I am a crêpe lover, having eaten my first one in its place of origin--Brittany, France--as a 17- year-old exchange student. No crêpe will ever beat my first! That one was a thin brownish pancake made from buckwheat flour and garnished with fresh-squeezed lemon juice, lemon zest, powdered- and granulated sugar. I have never eaten one as good since then, and I have dined in fine French restaurants in NYC and abroad. Yo Go Wild has several small tables inside to sit down and eat, and the place is relatively clean. The service was quick and friendly, but I will not be back for their crêpes. I usually come here to buy their frozen yogurt. They taste fresh and come in a variety of flavors.
