I liked this place but his prices are out of control. I paid $17.00 for a cone and small cup of gelato. I was just in Rome, Italy and paid €7.00 for 2 cones of the most amazing gelato by the Spanish steps in a touristy expensive area. We shouldn't be paying these prices in deer park. I've always had issues with restaurants and the servers or owner not knowing if it has eggs or not, but this owner knows his gelato. I realize that I have never reviewed this place. It is one of my favorite places to go for an affogato or gelato in general. I've been here many many times and it is always awesome. Today I noticed they have their version of the Dubai chocolate in gelato form. I got an Affogato with a scoop of vanilla gelato and a scoop of this Dubai chocolate gelato. It was amazing. My newest obsession of this season. I had this gelateria bookmarked for a while, and I finally went. I will be honest ever since trying gelato in Italy, nothing has satisfied me in the states until now. I have to say I loved this place so much. The flavors are incredible. Somehow I always end up with the coconut, pistachio or chocolate . It is a bit small inside and sometimes there are no tables to sit at but that isn't a problem for me. I've had this place bookmarked for awhile. It's kind of like a convenience store that sells Gelato. I originally ordered a waffle with Nutella. The online ordering offered banana nutella but it wasn't available in person. Instead they had me pick a Gelato flavor for an upcharge, instead of just giving me the waffle with plain nutella. We had a belly full of some salty seafood and was in need of some coffee and sweets. I was able to find this jewel of a place on Yelp and we went there immediately after looking at the scrumptious photos of their offerings. Interior is relatively long and narrow, they have plenty of unique Italian sweets ranging from cookies, crackers, chocolates and even Italian antique coffee tin makers. Gelatos are all housemade and the small size begins at $6.50 but all are served with these adorable wafer crackers with their store signage which is such a wonderful, unique, personal touch. I tried the limoncello gelato and it was citrusy, bright and sweet. My son tried the strawberry gelato and there were tons of fresh strawberry bits and it really had the essence of sweet strawberries. We also grabbed coffee and their eclairs and they were light, creamy and delicious. Will definitely be back as the owners were hospitable and the workers were quick and friendly. read more

What a cute find right near the outlets! Inside is small, has a few seating options but boasts a wide selection of homemade gelato, Italian packaged goods and pastries. Service was quick and efficient preparing my cappuccino and cannoli and overall I quite enjoyed both! The cappuccino was plenty foamy with a subtle nuttiness. The cannoli had that classic creamy and sweet filling encased in a gentle shell. An absolutely lovely little pick me up on a tiring Saturday afternoon. Feels like the sample spoon. I would prefer more of the add-ins. For example, more Pistashio or Cherry's. Atmosphere: 2/5 - Seating is very limited. Outside seating is pretty basic. I usually get it to go and sit in a nearby park to eat it. Service: 3/5 - They give you a cookie with the Gelato, but it is hit or miss. There's not good consistency. They aren't going out of their way to offer you more tastes. There's typically one person behind the counter and if there are other people in the establishments, there's a sense to move along and not try different flavors. Cleanliness: 4/5 - No notable problems but not spotless. Not sure if there's a rest room. Parking: 3/5 - Small lot outside. Some additional parking in rear. Can be tight. Value; 4/5 - You get some nice ice cream for about $6 or so, depending on size. Overall: 3/5 - A Solid place to pick up Gelatio. Recommendation for establishment: I would prefer it if they stored the ice cream a few degrees warmer so that it was served softer. Also a better engagement to find new flavors would be good. This is our favorite late night dessert place. We came here at 9pm, and there were still plenty of flavors to choose from. We ended up getting the raspberry cheesecake, apple, Mister Nico, and Black forest cherry. We got 2 smalls which were $6 for 2 scoops, pretty reasonable price. Especially since I've seen the price per scoop of ice cream go up dramatically since covid. My favorite was the black forest cherry, and apple. The apple tasted like an apple pie! Great great affogato's! Probably my favorite place to go to after dinner. Amazing gelato's, unique flavors, coffee is always strong. Only problem with this place is the workers are not very welcoming and can be borderline rude. It's not just one worker either, they all seem to be like they don't want to be there. If the service was better this place would be five stars. They girls there are young so I don't say anything to them but the owner needs to address this. Wow! So happy we came here. This place really takes you to Italy. They the classic Italian cookies, pasta, candies, etc that I had growing up. I was so happy to see Kinder Sorpresa! 2 or 3 weeks ago I got one scoop of Dubai chocolate pistachio with another scoop of Oreos cookies. This time I'm getting the same and was told they don't do that. I told the lady that it was given to me so it's ok now I would take other flavor but she asked who sold me that. Described who it was and then she decided to get the owner to confirm and I told them that it's fine I just wanted to let them know what I got last time. The owner comes back assuming I want them to do it again. And goes it's the rules, as he stated " I made the rules and everyone has to follow l, I can't do for you and not everyone else" which then I said I wasn't I already had a cone of two different flavors stratiacello and Oreos cookies. So he was very rude and condescending even if though we are the customers. The owner made the situation worse and gave back their ice cream and told them I would never buy from there. This place is a cute little cafe on Deer Park Ave. I walked in for coffee and I was pleasantly surprised when I went inside. Firstly the coffee was amazing! They also have some sweets you can get like cake slices and pastries. And it was too early in the morning for me to get some (although I was tempted and I will be back soon with my son), they have homemade Gelato... YUUMMMM! I even saw on the wall that they had won an award for thier Gelato so I can't wait to come back and try it! Cute little spot to get delicious desert. My son and I always go to get their shakes! The first couple of times were great and consistent! Shakes were amazing! The last few times they were watery/very milky. The girls put wayyyy too much milk in it. You couldn't even taste the flavor of the gelatos we had picked.
