Love this donut shop! Great variety of donuts. Spin the wheel to donate a dollar to the organization of the month.
The best donuts around! I needed a sweet treat for my July 4th party. As a huge fan of their rainbow cookie donuts, I asked if they can make them "red, white and blue", which Doughology happily did. Although the minimum order was a dozen, they went super fast at my party and I heard nothing but excellent feedback!
Oh my goodness. Get the churro donut. Just get it! I like flavors like fruity pebbles and only ordered the churro because the employee said it was a fan favorite. Blown away
Delicious, fresh, all varieties of flavors and toppings with custom and specialty flavors as well. Vegan options are also available which is awesome! My first visit here was during phase 2 of covid so I did not get to see the inside. However, I am so happy of how they are handling the safety. It's curbside only, you call to place your order and they deliver it right to you at the door. They also offer delivery services. I will not hesitate to return not only because the product was fresh and delicious, but because I trust their safety procedures.
My daughter came by for Fathers Day and brought over some delicious donuts from this specialty shop in Babylon. The donuts were visually mouthwatering and decorated so beautifully!! I was surprised to learn how reasonably priced they were ! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the rainbow donut , I took a little nibble and it was delicious , flavorful, fresh and moist! Very impressive! I enjoyed the lemon coconut donut it was nice and light And not at all greasy ! This place is definitely a nice alternative to DD !
Wanted to check out this place as everyone seems to rave about their other location in Lynbrook. I like something sweet once in awhile so why not come to Doughology? It was packed for a late Sunday morning and I was perusing the menu while waiting. The decor is simple, and cute. I like the beakers of sprinkles and other toppings - simple and fun. I opted for the cannoli, oreo, glazed and sugar. By far, I preferred the glazed. Simple, sweet, good texture and though I didn't have coffee today it would have made a nice pairing. I also liked the cannoli but it was very, very sweet. Granted, it's two desserts in one but the sugar level on this is extremely high. I didn't care so much for the cinnamon as it was very doughy, too chewy for my taste. Almost like it was under baked - could have used another minute or two. I didn't try the oreo, but my mom said it was good. I came back here a second time just for a glazed and this time it was sweeter than last. Also, I was asked if I wanted a chocolate or vanilla glazed - this wasn't asked the first time I came and this is not stated on the menu so one would assume there isn't an option for vanilla or chocolate. Additionally, there is a sign near the register that those who pay cash will pay the reflected menu pricing and if you use your debit/charge then you will incur a fee. As a consumer, this is annoying - if I don't have enough "dough" on me, I'm punished. All in all, this place seems to be hopping and they have a lot of offerings but it may be just a but too sweet for my taste.
I do love a good donut, but ones loaded with all the bells and whistles tend to be overly sweet for my taste. The signature donuts here? Amazing. It really seems like the folks at Doughology have nailed the balance in flavors, so their donuts are tasty and indulgent without being sickening. I picked up an assortment earlier today, but the Peanut Butter Cup and Samoa were our favorites. The simple donuts were great too. I definitely will be returning again soon and will have to come in on Sundays for their cannoli and rainbow cookie donuts!
I used to love Doughology but whether it's because the one in Lynbrook is better or the company as a whole isn't as good as it was...but this trip was a disappointment. I ordered a dozen donuts and the set of 4 donut balls. The only decent one was the churro and the blueberry chocolate crunch. The others were a little stale and not as interesting in flavors when in your mouth. But they sure still looked pretty - it's too bad they didn't taste like it.
Good donuts. They have a nice selection of different flavors. I had the Raspberry Chocolate Crunch and the Caramel Apple Crumbcake. I liked the Caramel Apple better because it was the perfect amount of sweetness.
Here's the Scoop: The family had a taste for a snack. Something sweet and good. So my daughter decided to order some doughnuts from a different place. She found doughology. My, my, my! Spectacularly decorated with so many toppings. To name a few from the menu: Caramel Apple Crumcake, lemon coconut, Samoa, Chocolate Oreo, Churro, Snickers, Maple Bacon, Peanut Butter Cup, French Toast. Yessssss, so delicious!!!! She purchased 9 and they arrived looking mouth watering with all toppings in place and not scattered all over the box. The pics I've added to not do them justice. Priced are reasonable and doughnut size is average. They are beautiful works of art that taste yummylicious! Give them a try because they don't disappoint! Finger lickin' toe tapping good!
Doughology has just about mastered the science of a good donut! I've heard people rave about this place for years and finally decided to stop by while in town. There was ample parking available and the shop appeared super clean. I was greeted immediately upon entering and given time to browse the menu. The menu consisted of waffles, a 'donut bar' where you could design your own donuts, different donut creations, or signature donuts if you didn't feel like inventing any yourself. There was also a variety of iced and hot coffee beverages, and a refrigerator with different drinks by the bottle. As a first timer I didn't feel like being creative so I decided to get a 1/2 dozen of the signature donuts. I tried the s'more (chocolate donut with graham cracker, chocolate drizzle and marshmallows), Samoa (donut with chocolate frosting, toasted coconut and caramel drizzle, cinnamon bun (donut with cinnamon flavored frosting), French toast, churro (cinnamon sugar donuts with creme sandwiched between them and caramel drizzle) and caramel apple crumb. All the donuts were good, but rather dense and as they mostly all consisted of the same base donut they tasted somewhat similar. The churro donut seemed a bit lighter and 'fluffier' if that makes sense. They were all tasty, but I just felt like they were missing something within the donut itself. I also tried a sea salt caramel coffee; the sign had said it was a flavored coffee so I assumed it was just a brewed flavored coffee, but it tasted like there was syrup or other additives and there was caramel drizzle. Don't get me wrong, the coffee was good but kinda too sweet for my liking and just not what I had been expecting. In addition, the smallest size they had was a 16oz and I would've preferred a smaller one. All in all, I'd recommend giving them a try if you're in the area but I don't think it's necessary to travel out of your way for them...unless of course they have a special flavor of the day you're desiring to try!
Picked these up to bring over for dessert on Christmas Eve. Ordered about 5 minutes before walking in the store, and they were in my hands a few minutes later. A lot of people split them in half to try different flavors, since they're pretty big and filling. Everybody raved about the donuts! I would love to pick these up for another occasion in the future :)
Let me just say the presentation of these donuts are phenomenal! Very aesthetically pleasing! But you're better off just going to Dunkin Donuts. Doughology donuts don't taste all that great. They're great for an Instagram picture or story, but if you actually want a yummy tasting donut, I don't recommend lol. The staff was very nice though. I tried six flavors and the best one was the Peanut butter cup!
I usually do not order donuts on Uber, but I did and the donuts still are very spectacular. I love doughology in Babylon. I think they are more affordable than a lot of donut shops and you're not limited.. if they had a table in the front, I probably could've eaten every single doughnut that they make! read more

Doughology Donuts in Babylon Village is the place to go if you're looking for some incredible specialty donuts. They offer a variety of options, and the rainbow cookie donuts we bought were very tasty. Try the peanut butter donut or the black and white cookie. Although there is plenty of public parking, parking is a little limited. read more

I did indeed return to Doughology to give them another shot. Tale of the same tape: Blueberry Pancake Donut Blueberry pancake donut dipped in maple glaze, topped with what I presume is their homemade crumbs, drizzled with vanilla sauce/frosting. This was a special donut, not part of their regular menu but written on the wall behind the checkout counter. The crunchy crumb top layer contrasted well with the soft, somewhat light donut. Peanut Butter Cup Donut Chocolate frosted chocolate donut with a crumbled Reese's peanut butter cup on top, drizzled with chocolate and peanut butter sauces. Oddly, the peanut butter crumble gets lost in the not-so-chocolatey chocolate components. S'mores Donut Chocolate frosted chocolate donut with a crumbled graham cracker and mini marshmallows on top, drizzled with chocolate sauce. The soft marshmallows and crunchy crumbs make for a good combination of textures. Notes Doughology's concept is intriguing, and the owner's story, as told on their website, is compelling. However, in my opine the execution is somewhat lacking. The process: several orders are taken, then all personnel set about to fulfill them, leaving those on line to wait about 10 minutes until their orders are taken. There must be a better way to streamline this procedure in order to get the line moving faster. In my experience it took over 20 minutes until I received my three donuts, and I was fourth or fifth in line. The product: also lacking, as generally speaking the donuts were rather bland. I did appreciate that they were not too sweet, but that doesn't mean the disparate flavors shouldn't be prominent . . . read more

Hello Amanda, thanks for your review. Just to clarify, we have cake…
I came here specifically to try the rainbow cookie donut and WOW it was incredible. Tasted exactly like a huge rainbow cookie, but dare I say even better? Super moist, a subtle almond flavor with raspberry jam. It really was perfect. I'd love to come back and try some additional flavors next time. read more

Stopped in for some fun donuts with my son and the line was out the door! I'm actually glad to see it since so many of my favorite places are shutting down! They have modified hours 9-3pm so be careful if coming afterwards to avoid disappointment. Made fresh as always we ordered about 4-5 donuts (Samoa, cinnamon bun, French toast, s'mores) read more

If you love dunkin donuts but want to spice things up, then definitely check this spot out. They have a wide variety of donuts and also a wide variety of toppings. We got the chocolate donut and velvet donut and had all sorts of toppings and it was delicious. The spot also makes coffee but i don't drink coffee so i wouldn't know how it is. We asked for tea and it was just hot water with a Lipton teabag when we came which was in winter. If you want to sit in, they have tables for you to sit and eat and it is located in a small local shopping area. read more
Doughology is an adorable donut shop in Babylon with friendly cashiers. Came by with a girlfriend while in town and we were blown away by the selection they had. It actually was a struggle figuring out which ones we wanted.. we wanted them all! These are cake like donuts and are super moist with rich frosting. We went with the Samoa's , Reece's PB, Strawberry Chocolate Cheesecake, Cinnabon, S'mores and Snickers. All were amazing! I really can't say one bad thing about any of them. The star of the show for me was the Reece's... or wait maybe it was the Strawberry Cheesecake.. which ever one you choose you can't go wrong! read more
Whoever thought of 'make your own donuts' is a genius! Not that there aren't amazing choices on the menu but they let you customize a donut however you want and it wasn't that expensive! I got a vanilla donut stuffed with cinnamon cream, dipped in maple and topped with Reese's pieces and peanut butter sauce and it was as fantastic as it sounds! They prep it in front of you so you know it's fresh and it was moist and flavorful. We also got a few of the 4 packs of cake pops for a party and they were only $4 for the 4 cake pops-not bad at all! The fruity peoples were a little stale tho so I'm sure those would have been better if they weren't but they were all so good! The woman at the counter was extremely friendly and attentive! read more
We were craving donuts in the late afternoon and we wanted something better than the doughnuts at Dunkin. I look up the hours and I was surprised they closed at 4pm since most donut places close early in the afternoon. It was around 3:30 already when we decided to get donuts, so I was nervous that they would close before we got there. I rushed over then and got there around 3:50pm. I was lucky to find street parking really close to the store! After finding street parking, while walking up to the store I realized there was a small parking lot in front of the store. I walked inside and the place looked really nice, bright, clean and organized. The place was also a bit decorated for the holidays. I figured that there would be limited options since I was coming in so close to closing. I saw in their display case they had 4 kinds of donuts, so I got once of each. I also saw they had donut holes with sprinkles and speciality coffees. I'll have to try the donut holes another day, they looked really good. I'm curious about their speciality coffees too. We brought the donuts home to taste. They were so soft and indulgent! Very tasty! read more

I was one of the first people on line when this location opened. I also was one of the first for tri color cookie donut day. But lately I'm falling out of love. The donuts have felt a little stale, and today we showed up at opening... so maybe it's more dry than stale. Today I showed up at 8:59, not realizing it opens at 9. I waited outside with one other customer... at 9:02 they unlocked the door and walked away. Like, really? Can't open the door and say hi or let us in. It was a weird lack of customer service that made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by being there. And what once used to be a bustling location always seems empty now. I really liked the owner when I met him and his family back when they first opened. I hope they are able to turn it around. read more

I am honestly so disappointed in doughology! i've been coming here for quite a few years well the lynbrook location and i was in Babylon and have not been here for two years since covid. I ordered 18 donuts for my office and we'll $55 dollars later i go to open the boxes and i was so extremely dissatisfied as the donuts got so small and i ordered one with apples on top and there were no apples just the size in itself i mean $3 a donut Just not what i expected or rather what i was use too. won't ever come back unfortunately! read more

I moved to Babylon village last year and I used to trek all the way to Lynbrook to get their doughnuts(totally worth the drive). The new location just opened up this past weekend and there's been a line out the door ever since. These guys DO NOT DISAPPOINT! Same quality and great service as Lynbrook. They are a great addition to the village! Can't wait to try everything on your menu! Favorite Doughnut: Maple Bacon read more

I'm so excited to have a location in Suffolk. I love their donuts!! Definitely check out their Sunday specials when they have them. Both the rainbow and the cannoli donuts are AMAZING!! Last time I went I got a coffee too, and was very pleasantly surprised. Most places have okay coffee, like a deli, but this was much better. They are super friendly too! They take cards but I believe they offer a cash discount. read more
