Got some cookies for an afterschool treat for my kids. I ordered the sweet potato smores, blueberry cheesecake, and cookie butter cookies. These cookies are massive! Well, the first time I got it it was nice and warm toasty gooey. I felt like a kid again every week I would get this amazing treat. Well, recently, the last three times it was kind of hard and not gooey at all . I'm not sure if they gave up on the business. Back when I was a kid I used to get Entenmann's chocolate chips. They were soft all the time you can leave the cookie out for a day. It's still going to be good. The COOKIES at Chip city seem like there's no business so they're just using the old COOKIES , letting them sit there if you buy so many cookies they're supposed to reward you with points. When you walk in, the smell of fresh baked cookies wraps you in the most welcoming hug! Inside is filled with seating and photo opps as well. There is a good selection of cookies, and you can add ice cream to the mix as well! Staff is really helpful and friendly...patient as well! The cookies are thick, and a portion of them are stuffed as well! I would say these are like a shortbread consistency. Absolutely tasty and so addictive! Definitely get your money's worth. Parking is not the best, but there is an extra parking lot by the bank (behind Chip City). read more

Whimsical interior and staff was young and friendly. There was a line and cookies are roughly $5.00/piece but there huUuuge! We got 6 cookies most of which we can't remember but I ate the blueberry cheesecake cookie and lemme tell you, it's not overly sweet and it's light but doughy. I'm definitely coming back and see what the hype is about. Tip: nuke in microwave for 20 seconds or in the oven. Box says 5-10 but didn't really do much. Absolutely yum! read more

Truly amazing, mouth watering cookies! My coo worker ordered 4 of their cookies and I honestly could not resist how good they were. Never really had a chance to visit any other spots that had the same idea as Chip City but look, whatever they're doing is truly amazing. We ordered the fruity pebbles, peanut butter and brownie cookie and my oh my were they baked to perfection and gewy in the center. Whoa. Kinda expensive for cookies. Food: 3/5 - Some good cookies for sure. One cookie can sort of fill you up. It better for $4.50. The problem is you want to try a variety of them and that's out of the question with these prices. You can get a 6 pack (buy 5 get 1 free) but that's still a lot of money and you'll never finish them without them going stale or a group of people. Cutting them up and sharing them can be dicey since they get messy. The coffee offering is an afterthought. Good coffee would be a draw that would encourage me to return to have with the cookie. No digestion issues. Service: 3/5 - We went during the grand opening, and they were not moving fast enough. They were taking their time with customers while the line stretched out really long. They should have cut up a bunch of cookies and offered them as samples. Ambiance: 2/5 - Very limited seating. The restaurant is Un-inviting with harsh lighting and very limited seating. Value: 1/5 - For the price of these cookies they could be better, and the restaurant could be more upscale to invite people to stay. These are high end coffee house prices without the added value. Cleanliness: 5/5 - Very clean as it should be for a new place. Parking: 2/5 - Parking in the front is a bad idea. Tiny lot with a very difficult situation on busy 231. Right at an intersection. There's a lot behind the place but many people won't know it's there and will try to park in front. They should have a sign. Overall: 2/5 - This may be a nice option to pick up a six pack of cookies for a party, but it's inconvenient to get to. First time in a while trying cookies this big. I was a little nervous that they would be dry or hard, but that was not the case! The cookies were moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. A little disappointing that there were no chocolate chip available at 9:30pm since closing is at 10pm. NOTE: the flavors change every week, with the only constant being chocolate chip Really cute place that has a modern yet old timey ice cream parlor vibe. This new cookie store opened on a not great corner in North Babylon. It's a new store build so it's bright and sunny. The staff are full of suggestions and very knowledgeable about the product. The cookies are huge, but so is the price tag. They have flavor and lots of choices. They do do combo savings, which is great. We tried three cookies, and loved them all. The downside is they're not a peanut safe because they have a peanut butter cookie. But when my sons out of town, I'll try again. I loved the Oreo stuffed cookie. Was so happy this place opened up just in time to bring some dessert over to a new mom-I grabbed the 6 pack which is buy 5 get one free and then of course had to snag one for myself. I went with the fluffernutter cuz it sounded the most unique to me-it was huge and soft baked but a tad salty and honestly tasted nothing like fluffernutter-it was good but not great. For the mixed boxed, I did chocolate chip, blueberry cheesecake, peanut butter blackout, key lime pie, cookies and cream and fluffernutter. It was a good variety and the flavors change every week I think. One major complaint tho-they spent so dang long building this place why is this the most horrific parking lot ever? Good luck getting in safely with everybody speeding down dpa when you're either gonna hit the pole on one side or the curb on the other. Def coulda constructed that better given the very busy corner of dpa this place is on. It was semi busy for opening weekend but the line moved fast. It was about $30 for the 7 cookies-I guess that's decent? I'll check it out again in the future tho. They also had some coffee options but basic coffee-no frills so I didn't try it. If they incorporate a seasonal menu in the future I'd def be into that! read more

My first time here at Chip City and I can say I really wasn't blown away. I love a classic chocolate chip cookie, so I was excited to try one from here! For the price of the cookie, I was really expecting a lot more. Unfortunately it wasn't a traditional cookie, it was more cake like and very dry. It was warm, but not fresh. Very little chocolate in the cookie, and not much flavor other than one note -- sweet. It needed a bit more salt, more dark chocolate, and less bake time. I would suggest they add more chocolate chips to their chocolate chip cookies and under bake them considering they'll be sitting out on top of a heated tray to have them appear as if they are fresh from the oven, which also causes them to bake more and become dry. My fiancé had the triple chocolate cookie which was a little better in flavor. It wasn't as sweet and had a better flavor profile all around. The texture though was the same as the other one, cake like and also over baked. They're more of a cupcake or muffin top rather than a cookie. I don't think we would go out of our way to come here again. Other than the product, the staff was incredibly sweet and the atmosphere was beautiful and very inviting. read more

I tried for the first time a chocolate chip crookie omgoodness wow wow wow a new favorite of mine going forward. Chip City you never disappoint my taste buds and foodie experiences. Came down here with my partner to see what all the hub bub was about and I can say I'm decently suprised there was quite a long line and they had more than just the weekly line up but a lot of it was missing from all the gluttonous heathens that beat us to it. I was looking forward to the "wild berry strudel" but it was no where in sight not even a display so I know they didn't just run out. Customer service was decent staff seemed a little tired of being there but nice overall. The building was giving a nice donut shop vibe not like hospital cafe like crumbl gives. The cookies were very good we indulged in the fluffernutter, classic chocolate chip and the premium chocolate cupcake which was about a 2 dollar up charge. The fluffernutter didn't have much peanut butter flavor and was little burnt tasting but it was good and the chocolate chip blows crumbl out the water not too sweet and not a soggy gooey mess like most cookies crumble serves and the cupcake one was delicious don't know if it was worth the upcharge though it did taste like the corners of a brownie which I am a big fan of, the cookies here are so big they're like a meal in themselves.
