Visited Duchess Cookies for the first time and their cookie was great!! We chose their Churros Nutella cookie and our favorite Brookie! I liked how their cookies are so chewy and soft! If you like soft cookies, you'll love them!! I would love to try the other kinds as well! We also got a free ice cream for first visit :)

Located inside plainview shopping center with ample amount of parking. Got the following cookies: They currently have - buy 6 get 1 free Churro cookie with nutella filling (2nd fav) Cookie monster w chocolate chip filling Red velvet with cream cheese filling. Oreo with chocolate brownie filling (my favorite) Sea salt caramel pretzel with caramel filling Chocolate lovers cookie with dark chocolate filling Unicorn cookies with strawberry cheesecake filling. I didn't get to try all the cookies since I shared them with my kiddos, and they loved what I got. The cookies itself are big, and I'd recommend you have them with a glass of milk. The girl behind the counter was very helpful. I noticed they have cookies that contain nuts separate from the ones without, and when I ordered the churro nutella, she had used a different tong. I would def come back to try all the other flavors for sure.

I believe the first duchess cookie I ever had was when they used to source cookies to For Five Roasters in Manhasset years ago. I remember thinking the cookie was fantastic. Large, filling, gooey and delicious. Creative combos and aesthetically pleasing. I don't know if they are expanding too rapidly and the quality is not well controlled but this place no longer has good cookies. I went when they first opened this location a couple of years ago and they were good. I recently went back and the cookies could not be finished. Almost a play dough like texture and tasted like what I would think play dough would taste like. The cookies also got smaller. The lady working there also is extremely rude (this was 2 months ago). Extremely impatient to the customer in front of me. For the price, I would choose CHIP anytime!

Eh...it was really just okay. A little overpriced at $4.25 a cookie... This is right in my town and I've never been in until today. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the worker behind the counter. I saw a handful of different choices to choose from for a medium sized cookie. I decided on a churro cookie that had dulce de leche filling. Honestly it was a snickerdoodle cookie with dulce de leche filling. The dulce de leche filling was very overwhelming and I didn't find it necessary. The cookie tasted fine until I got to the center where the filling was. It was WAY too sweet and it didn't pair well with the cookie at all. Also, this cookie is OVER 900 calories. I found that out after eating most of it of course on their website under nutritional info. This was a waste of those calories and I would have much rather "spent" those calories on something that tasted better. I don't see myself returning. I don't understand the hype.

A really great addition to the shopping center. At $4 and change for cookies, it's not a cheap treat but somewhat comparable to Levain. The staff were super nice and the variety of cookies was decent! The blue cookie was super cute, just like Cookie Monster. My little one and I shared a triple chocolate chip cookie and thoroughly enjoyed it sitting outside while it was still nice and warm. If I was in the area and craved a sweet treat, I'd go back and try another variety of cookie.

Chocolate chip and Cookie Monster and Churro oh my! Get em and enjoy em!

Let's set the crumbly stage of this cookie adventure that I'm going to set you off on. You might not have asked for this, but it'll be worth it if there are some Duchess cookies in your future by the conclusion of this review. We begin our sweet story with the fact that lately, I feel like I've been engulfed and surrounded by gourmet cookies. My travels have taken me to different spots on this lengthy island (often due to my female counterpart) that have given me opportunities to try massive cookies with a ton of intriguing toppings and variations (internal ingredients to be exact, but more on that in a sec). I've dabbled in For Goodness Cakes and scooped up some Chonky cookies, but I can't say that any of these tasty treats left me with a truly "wow" factor. Four stars for all, but none have built up to that fifth celestial which is needed to rule the cookie kingdom...until, perhaps, Duchess came into the mix (pun intended?). The interesting thing about Duchess is that my introduction to them did not happen from the girlfriend. Instead, I stumbled upon Duchess due to some coworkers ordering up a box and sharing in the spoils from this new Plainview spot. Having little background about these glorious circles of sweetness might have helped in leaving me with no preconceived notions/hype (something that might've occurred previously with other cookie locations). Knowing this, I dove into a few of these terrifically tasty treats and finally felt like I had reached cookie nirvana. How so? Well what better way to start than with chocolate chip. It was soft, gooey, chippy and arguably my favorite (I know it's boring, but you can't go wrong with a classic). On the more unique yet "everybody's doing it" land you'll find the Cookie Monster variety that takes the aforementioned chocolate chip and places it inside a blue-colored sugar cookie. Not my go-to (can't say I aesthetically enjoy my cookies to be from this part of the rainbow), but delicious nonetheless. The truly original might come from the Churro cookie. This is a snickerdoodle type with a dulce de leche cream in the center. Warm it up a little and woah mama! Those previous two sentences are going to bring us to the last leg of this journey (thanks for still reading). Something that made me set Duchess apart from other cookie spots were those cream fillings. This isn't something I regularly gravitate towards, but it worked so well to have a soft and gooey cookie filled with a creamy sweet center. I mean I'm just dying to try the peppermint hot chocolate cookie from the pics I've seen online. The other factor is the warming up of these cookies doesn't seem to take away from the freshness that you may lose from other cookies that use this process. Okay yes, the Mecca of cookies (Levain) has frozen varieties that can be baked, but some cookies don't withstand the land of the microwave. Duchess cookies hold up, plus that creamy center only gets more enjoyable with a little heat. Overall, I gotta give Duchess the crown for cookies. I will throw in a few quick disclaimers for my review of five stars in that I've only experienced Duchess once (which is the same for all of my other recent cookie endeavors so it's nothing to nitpick) and I haven't actually visited this Plainview store...yet (it'll happen soon, I guarantee it!). Location always helps in making my visits more frequent so knowing they're not too far away leads me to believe this review is just the first of many future visits (or adventures, you know, in tying this whole review together) to the land of delicious and delectable Duchess cookies.

First time coming here with lot of expectations, the chocolate chip cookies were up-to the mark almost perfect, it was gooey and chewy. I was really disappointed with the triple chocolate cookie, it was too dry and too sweet it was almost like eating a biscotti, i regret that i chose tripe chocolate over funfetti. The prices are bit too high but i dont mind paying $4.50 for chocolate chip cookie, but for the other one i got it kinda hurt.

A black cardboard box with a Duchess Cookies logo is placed on a wooden table, with a TV and a brick wall visible in the background.

I came back to Paris Baguette in Huntington, NY to pickup a catering order of 12 assorted mochi…read moredonuts (6 sugar mochi donuts and 6 strawberry mochi donuts) for $39.99. I walked in and told the staff member I was here to pickup my catering order. He went and grabbed it and it was only took a few seconds. I also ordered a large iced matcha latte. The box of mochi donuts was still warm when I received it. All my coworkers enjoyed the mochi donuts. The mochi donuts were fresh and chewy. The sugar mochi donuts are a chewy mochi donut rolled in sugar and the strawberry mochi donuts are a chewy mochi donut with strawberry icing and powdered sugar. After my previous catering order, I completed a feedback survey and received a promo code for $10 off my next catering order and used it for this order. Paris Baguette is great for any occasion!

Coffee was excellent-lots of specialty options as well. Sandwiches, mochi donuts, yogurt parfaits, cakes, croissants, red bean buns...etc. SO many choices filled with calories and carbs. I was "being good" and chose one of the yogurt parfaits with fresh berries, oats and honey. My friend had a great looking turkey avocado sammie on a fresh baguette (thus the name). The place was super clean with a good amount of seating. We stayed there for a couple of hours and nobody shooed us away. Kids behind the counter were lovely. Go get your carbs, sugar and caffeine on here. Next time I'm snagging a red bean roll FOR SURE.

Today, April 18th, was our last straw with this particular Starbucks. Once again, both bathrooms,…read morewhich are labeled customer only, one was only accessible given that we were provided a code and the other bathroom, which I've seen employees use only, has a different code, which my husband and I are uninformed of. The district manager, Alisha, informed my husband that both bathrooms should have the same code. So today, was a long line to use the bathroom. My husband, who was on line himself, witnessed a little girl frantically waiting to use the bathroom, who was accompanied by her mother. So he walked over to the male employee, Gulhem (?). My husband asked him for the code to the other bathroom. Gulhem proceeded to walk over to type in the code himself, NOT TELLING MY HUSBAND, and when the door opened, my Husband told the mother and her daughter to go ahead of him. That seemed to rub Gulhem the wrong way, my husband mentioned to the male employee, the code should be the same for both bathrooms. His response was "YOU ALWAYS COMPLAIN " My husband responded, its the bathroom, every paying customer is entitled to use the bathroom (as the sign states for EACH BATHROOM). First time, my husband spoke to the district manager, he informed her the bathroom wasn't clean. Second time, I (His WIFE) actually contacted the Starbucks customer service, informing the associate that the employees of Starbucks in Country Point, did not call my name to let us know that our food was ready. They called everyone else's name loud and clear by the way. By the time we figured out it was ours, it was already cold. And lastly today's incident. So for this male employee, Gulhem, to say my husband always complains, is absurd, unprofessional, and not true. Lastly, I want to make this clear, there's only a couple of bad apples in this Starbucks location, three employees that come to mind. Everyone else is pleasurable, delightful, and quite professional. My husband and I have been to many Starbucks and this is the only Starbucks that gives us an issue. For the Starbucks male employee Gulhem, to accuse my husband for "always complaining," we've experienced multitude of times in which the bad apples have lied, stating the bathroom They USE, is Out Of Order, and below we've included visual pictures to provide evidence of this.
