Today, April 18th, was our last straw with this particular Starbucks. Once again, both bathrooms, which are labeled customer only, one was only accessible given that we were provided a code and the other bathroom, which I've seen employees use only, has a different code, which my husband and I are uninformed of. The district manager, Alisha, informed my husband that both bathrooms should have the same code. So today, was a long line to use the bathroom. My husband, who was on line himself, witnessed a little girl frantically waiting to use the bathroom, who was accompanied by her mother. So he walked over to the male employee, Gulhem (?). My husband asked him for the code to the other bathroom. Gulhem proceeded to walk over to type in the code himself, NOT TELLING MY HUSBAND, and when the door opened, my Husband told the mother and her daughter to go ahead of him. That seemed to rub Gulhem the wrong way, my husband mentioned to the male employee, the code should be the same for both bathrooms.His response was "YOU ALWAYS COMPLAIN " My husband responded, its the bathroom, every paying customer is entitled to use the bathroom (as the sign states for EACH BATHROOM). First time, my husband spoke to the district manager, he informed her the bathroom wasn't clean. Second time, I (His WIFE) actually contacted the Starbucks customer service, informing the associate that the employees of Starbucks in Country Point, did not call my name to let us know that our food was ready. They called everyone else's name loud and clear by the way. By the time we figured out it was ours, it was already cold. And lastly today's incident. So for this male employee, Gulhem, to say my husband always complains, is absurd, unprofessional, and not true. Lastly, I want to make this clear, there's only a couple of bad apples in this Starbucks location, three employees that come to mind. Everyone else is pleasurable, delightful, and quite professional. My husband and I have been to many Starbucks and this is the only Starbucks that gives us an issue. For the Starbucks male employee Gulhem, to accuse my husband for "always complaining," we've experienced multitude of times in which the bad apples have lied, stating the bathroom They USE, is Out Of Order, and below we've included visual pictures to provide evidence of this. read more

As mentioned once before, this is another Starbucks that has opened in the newly developed community of Country Pointe. Its strategic location within the same shopping center offers convenience for residents and visitors alike. In this vibrant community hub, you can withdraw cash at Chase, stock up on groceries at ShopRite, refuel yourself with a large cup of Starbucks coffee, and even swing by the hardware store for a good hammer. However, I initially intended to find a peaceful spot to sit down with a cup of tea and review some documents I needed to read. Unfortunately, this Starbucks turned out to be quite a dissimilar experience. It felt more like an echo chamber. It was so loud inside that I could not hear myself speak, despite there being only a few people present. I genuinely feel sorry for the staff who must tolerate such noise levels day in and day out. With that in mind, I have decided that other than stopping by for a quick pick-up, I will not be spending much time here. I can't say enough about this Starbucks. Super close to home and on the way to work. It's always clean inside and mobile orders are made in a timely fashion...at least before 9am. I haven't been in recently due to working from home from time to time. After going back after months away, the baristas still greeted me by name. Talk about being personal! Coffee is always fresh and food is always good. Parking can be a bit of an annoyance, but it's still worth it go to this location instead of the other Plainview location. read more

Brand new Starbucks just opened a few months ago in the Shop-Rite shopping center on Old Country Rd. Great big store with lots of seating. Manager Stacey is the best and super friendly and nice. I had a trenta green tea lemonade with no ice. The Baristas where very friendly and the service was super fast. The drink was made perfectly The store has lots of parking and is in a great location. Definitely will be going there again when back in New York. This is definitely my favorite Starbucks location read more

Nice location , main complaint , it was really really too cold. We asked if they could turn the air conditioning down and the barista said they were not allowed to touch the thermostat! One of the better Starbucks locations. Interior is always clean, plenty of seatings and outlets. Drinks always come out promptly and on point. If they make a mistake, they will remake the drink right away. Courteous staff who always greets you with a smile and makes sure you have a good experience. I love the Starbucks in the Country Pointe Plainview. The takeout is very well organized. I ordered their Breakfast Sandwich which has Applewood Smoked bacon, melty aged Gouda Cheese and frittata on a roll. This Breakfast Sandwich is not only reasonably priced but absolutely delicious. In the winter I order Chai Latte which really warms you up. It is made with black tea, cinnamon, an a mixture of hot spices. I do detect pepper as one. The spices really warm you up. I can not order this if the weather is warm. Then I order the Shaved Ice Green Tea. This is a healthy choice. They are very organized and always friendly. DO NOT COME HERE!! Today I decided to come here with a friend of mine. This was my very first time taking this friend out. We were looking to get a refreshment after a long day. After we settled down at our seats, we noticed something a tiny bit strange. There was a bug crawling on my sweatshirt and after further investigation we realized that it was a TICK. We didn't think too much of it since we had just walked a mile to get here; about a minute later, I felt something tickle my arm. I looked down and saw yet ANOTHER TICK. Foolishly enough, I ignored it and assumed it was from the walk there. Not even a minute later we noticed ticks crawling all over the floor. Naturally I started to panic, and I told a barista who kindly got rid of the chairs and explained that people from the state park commonly come here and they sometimes have ticks on them. We went to check our bodies in the bathroom after being instructed by a staff member to do so. We didn't see anything, so we thought this ordeal was over, but that was not the case. Once we got home we went to use my Macbook and my friend pointed out that there was yet ANOTHER TICK. We immediately changed our clothes. This is ridiculous and the fact that they were aware of the issue is unacceptable and extremely dangerous to other people who enter this facility. Brand new Starbucks in the Country Pointe complex in Plainview. Don't look for it by ShopRite or Trio Hardware it is through the parking lot to the right of the stop sign coming in. Navigate past the new stores being built all the way to the end. Plenty of parking and the Starbucks store is about twice the size of the other Starbucks in the area. Strong WiFi plenty of places to sit and great service. I was in and out before I had a chance to cool off from the heat outside. Worth the search through the parking lots. read more

Great location. Inside is clean and has lots of great seating options. Morning/ afternoon staff is respectful, semi-quiet, and they keep the temperature warm for costumers. Evening staff members are kind, but they lower the heat so that it's an ice box inside (keep in mind it's January so it's already freezing out). I think they do this so costumers won't stay for long periods of time to do work or hang out with friends. I actually had to leave because my toes and hands were frozen. Also 1-2 staff members are obnoxiously and purposefully loud (screaming in the back room, weirdly yelling costumer names when their drink is ready, yelling jokes to coworkers across the cafe) ... they are constantly yelling just so they can get a laugh out of their coworkers. It's a shame bc I have had to leave this Starbucks on multiple occasions and do work elsewhere because of these issues. read more

I ordered a pike roast with extra almond milk and 2 agave.. pretty simple. He fills it up with dark roast and tiny bit of milk. When I asked for Pike the employee is rude and says the other employee didn't tell him Pike roast. Next he remakes it and again he barley puts any almond milk and then puts in the agave but doesn't stir it. What's the point of putting in sugar or sweetener for a customer if you're not going stir it. When I went to stir the agave I realized my cup was over filled and I had to clean the sides of the cup and the cover. All the while, the employee that made my coffee and the employee that took my order are blatantly on their phone. read more

Okay so I felt the need to write this review. I gave this place 4 stars because it's so close to my job and it's never crowded and I'm always in and out. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was because today I went in and witnessed the what appeared to be the store manager be extremely rude to her workers. Both kind workers understood my order and one was in the middle of making it CORRECTLY the first time when he ran out of green tea and quickly made more. He offered me to wait or to get a different tea mixed in but I chose to wait. He went in the back and the manager started disrespecting her workers and forcefully closing the fridges and putting things away. She actually stated "I wanna put this crap away". Very unprofessional. She then went in the back to look for who was making my drink and my friend and I could hear her yelling at him. She then came out of the back and proceeded to make my drink. She made it wrong and then another worker who took my order corrected her mistake and she wasn't thrilled about having to make it a third time. All in all the workers are great.
