Wanted to try a new coffee shop so I stopped by with my brother. We tried a hot oat lavender and vanilla latte, both tasted great! The barista was also kind enough to add more syrup when I asked. I'm always on the hunt for new coffee shops to work at remotely while I sip on a latte or tea! I found this coffee shop in Syosset from Google! I was pleasantly surprised with how cute the atmosphere was inside, how kind the staff was, and how delicious my latte was. I even came back the very next day! It's nice and quiet and relaxing to get work done. They also have plugs and wifi which is great for remote work! There's bar seating and a few tables. What I also love is they have games to play! We came upon this coffee shop by chance. We were in the area and needed coffee. This was what came up when we searched a coffee shop. The inside was very cozy and beautiful! But it was completely empty when we walked in, that should've been our first warning. The server seemed friendly. When I asked what their light roast was, the server had no idea what that meant. I asked what blend the drip coffee was and was met with blank looks. That should've been my second warning. Giving it the benefit of doubt, I still got the coffee my friend got a hot chocolate. We got our drinks and left. Tried the drinks once we were in our vehicle and it was not what we expected. The coffee tasted like it was old, like warm bean water. It wasn't hot at all -- lukewarm and had that old coffee flavor. And the hot chocolate was more milk with barely any chocolate. The chocolate to milk proportion was off. We were both pretty disappointed considering how nice the place looked so we had high hopes. But it didn't reach those expectations. So if you go for a cup of coffee or a cup of hot cocoa, I'd steer clear of those. UPDATE: the owner reached out to me offering free drinks to rectify this error. My favorite coffee shop in Syosset! The coffee tastes great. The cafe has wifi and has natural light. The barista is nice and friendly. What's not to like? The barista recommended the vanilla latte because they make all their syrups in house. They were out of whole and skim milk so I tried it with soy milk. It still came out delicious! I ordered a latte which was delicious; right amount of sweet and bitterness. The owner as well as the barista were warm, welcoming and kind. At this cafe you are given a rare experience, one that you can hardly find anywhere anymore: one where people converse with each other. I enjoyed my time here and look forward to many more. The real deal. Little hidden gem cafe sandwiched between two other local shops, almost missed it when I first came. Matcha latte was the best I've ever had- they use ceremonial grade matcha and organic locally farmed milk from battenkill valley in Long Island. Vanilla lavender latte was also amazing- get it with oat milk. Menu is no frills, only quality. Cafe is a woodsy, beat generation vibeee. Owner says they recently opened back up for full operation- I almost don't want to write this review bc I know this place will blow up soon and I want to keep it my lil secret, but they deserve it. A very nice space is the only good thing I can say about my experience at One Spring. I tried ordering a tea, which was on the board and the (clearly new and untrained) barista said they don't have any. I asked about the tea in a display case on the counter and was told she didn't know how to make it. Give me some hot water and I'll do it, I said. She said she couldn't. I asked why...she didn't know the price. I gave up on the tea and asked for a decaf. It was basically hot milk. I took it back to the counter and she offered to put another decaf shot in there. She added what looked like one ounce of brewed coffee to my cup and it made no difference. She said there was a problem with the decaf grind (or grinder, not sure which). There was only sweet and low so I asked for sugar. She said they didn't have any and would call the manager to see how she could get some sugar. I said forget it...there were no stirrers anyway. I gave up and drank the hot milk. read more

As many of the other reviews said, it seriously tasted like warm milk with a touch of lavender. I don't know why there was no coffee/espresso flavor. I've gotten that drink at dozens of other coffee shops and it hasn't tasted that weak elsewhere. Then, I tried to order a hot chocolate for my daughter--I'm told they are out of chocolate. OK, that's odd. So, I order a lemonade. Nope, that's the only other thing they are out of today. Hmm, Really odd. No other drinks for a young kid so she just sat there. On a different note, the barista was nice, the cafe was clean and nice. But, if you're like me and go to a coffee shop for the actual drinks, I'd pass on this one. read more

I love coming here to study. It's a quiet place and the owner is such a lovely person. The employees have always been nice to us. Ajay explained to us that there two new flavors of ice cream that they just got in. My partner and I both tried the rocky road and the honey lavender. It was delicious. The cafe is clean and the coffee I've had here has always been delicious. There is parking in the back of the shop if you can't find parking anywhere else. We will be back soon! read more
