I have been seeing Soul brew all over online so I wanted to give it a try. The ambiance was great with chairs with pillows and booths. They have so many flavors and cold foams to choose from. I picked the nutella latte with strawberry cold foam ( highly recommend it tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry) and the smores coffee with cookie butter cold foam. I'm a big fan of Soul Brew in Bellmore! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with comfortable couches and tables where you can sit and enjoy a great cup of coffee and a meal. I'm not typically a fan of flavored coffee, but Soul Brew does it exceptionally well. Some of my favorites are the Butter Beer flavor and Spiced Brown Sugar, they're delicious! But it's not just the coffee thats great. The food is also very delicious. I loved the Bacon Egg and Cheese on a waffle, id definitely order it again. And if you're in the mood for a snack I recommend the Rainbow Cookie. The staff is very friendly and they make a great coffee. I ordered Feelin' Tot Burrito online and as I was driving to pickup they called to let me know they were out of tater tots so I ended up with a sad and flat $12 breakfast burrito. Can't say I was too happy about it. Wish I was refunded partially or something. I would have just gone to the bagel place down the block from me instead if I knew before. The employees are also super friendly. I got the Feelin Tot Burrito which is my go to and it was very flavorful and filling. The chipotle sauce packs it with flavor. My boyfriend got Son of a Biscuit which he enjoyed too, but said he wished there was a sauce added on his. Their iced lattes are also delicious and a must with breakfast. I love, love, love Soul Brew! I frequent the Bellmore location whenever I am in the area, and it is always a place I recommend to people looking to meet for just a cup of coffee and or a light meal. Their Bellmore location is in an inconspicuous spot, off the "main street" type area of Bellmore, north of the Long Island Railroad station. THE GROWS: I wish they had one in my immediate area, because my visits would definitely increase! Bellmore is closest to me, but still a 20 minute drive. Consider a location near Garden City! ;-) THE GLOWS: Coffee is always fresh brewed, the store is immaculate, stevia is always stocked, and the personnel are lovely. Appealing music plays in the background, loud enough to hear, soft enough to do work or read or chat with a friend. Their sandwiches are also delicious--I tried a grilled cheese with bacon and it was memorable. The decor reminds me of Seattle coffee houses from the 90's. LOVE THAT! HIGHLY recommend. read more

Already a fan of a Huntington's location, I knew I had to check this spot out, and this visit made me fall in love with Soul Brew all over again. I called ahead to check if there would be any vegan options and a friendly voice walked me through what options they had. Already off to a great start! Parking here is a tad tricking but I was able to find a spot across across the street. Please be aware it's only 90 min parking. Solid chai tea latte with skim milk was had before I chowed down on their Bomb Diggity BLT which hit the spot. Kettle chips accompanied my sandwich and I was in heaven. Great place to work although they do have a time limit. Pro tip: Come with a fully charged laptop as no outlets were found to charge up. Super great staff, chill vibes, and clean and fun restroom. For the past few weeks, I've been trying new coffee shops on Long Island and I finally tried this one. It's been on my list for a while because they seem to have a lot of fun flavors. They also have some cool seasonal flavors depending on the time of year! I went right before St Patrick's Day, so I got the iced lucky charms latte, which was obviously seasonal for the holiday. They also had a peeps marshmallow latte for Easter, which looked good. Plus, they decorate the coffees and lattes very cute! The lucky charms latte typically comes with whipped cream and lucky charms on top, although I got it without whipped cream. I'm not sure if it usually gets busy, but I came around 8am and there was no line, so I got my coffee very fast. Would definitely recommend! read more

We had checked out the menu in advance on the web and liked what we saw. When we got there, it looked like the archtypical Starbucks scene - young people discussing the futility of life, young people engrossed in their MacBooks while writing the Great American Novel, a few holdouts from the 1960s, and the occasional corgi. When we walked in it was a bit confusing, because the chalk board only showed their drink offerings. Also, we had to find out on our own that there was no table service. Somehow, we figured it all out and found a nice table furthest from the door - still cold but not bad. Then the food came, and this is where most of the four stars came from - it was really good. I had the "Son of a biquit" and Donna had the breakfast quesadilla. The coffee was, of course, first rate. On the whole, as good as the food was, you get the impression that the food service was a sidelight here. I found napkins but never did find forks, but that was okay, because everything was pretty much finger food. All in all, worth keeping an eye on. read more

First time visiting Soul Brew meeting up with a friend. It has a laid back cafe vibe that is super casual. They have two small areas in the front to dine and a few tables across from the cashier counter. You can choose to dine in or take out. If you dine in, they will call you when your food is ready to pick up. The day we went the cafe was busy, so we were lucky to grab a table up front. They have a decent selection of coffee drinks that are customizable. There is also a food menu full of breakfast or lunch items. Throughout the year they have drink and food seasonal menus. I grabbed the Jay's Egg Quesadilla and the seasonal blueberry muffin latte. The quesadilla was a good size and filling. The latte was flavored exactly as described. I'll probably go back to try some other items in the future. read more

Soul brew feels like a really hip bar you'd find in the city. There's music and board games. Menu is all hand written and loaded with lots of selections. The drinks were amazing. We got a vanilla latte and a matcha latte. Perfection! I would say that I did feel like we stood out being the only ones wearing a mask. I guess covid is over in some places. How could you not love a coffee shop with the name "Soul Brew"? It's just as you'd imagine with its 90s coffeehouse vibes- dark interior, art on the exposed brick walls, a generous amount of tables that seem second hand from a 70s luncheonette and nice baristas that let you stay for hours, cup after cup. Everything is so lived-in and cozy, you may not want to leave. Note: there's a 60 min time limit if it's super crowded in there, so if you want to do the lingering thing, keep it in mind. We had no problem noon until the 4pm closing. I started with my standard Americano, black, and it was perfect, not that sour brew that's so off-putting, yet popular in some coffee shops. I also had avocado toast, a thick slab of nutty 7-grain piled with avocado and lightly dusted with red pepper flakes. I followed that up with a perfect oat milk matcha latte. The giant chalkboard menu boasts a huge array of tempting drinks, iced or hot, teas and coffees. I've never seen so many syrup and flavor combos and although I didn't opt for any , it's cool to see that if I'm in that late afternoon mode of needing something sweet, I can find that here. They offer a good amount of non dairy milks, soy, coconut, almond and of course, oat. I'd love it even more if there were more vegan options on the menu as well as vegan baked goods. The only thing vegan would be the avocado toast right now. It's OK, I have a lot of love for Soul Brew and it's a nice long walk from my Dad's house so I'll be here often, weather-allowing. read more

Was in the area and found out a new Soul Brew opened...I couldn't resist some good coffee. They are new. It was a little crowded, but not terrible. It was a bit confusing upon entering. There was a line...but not a line waiting to order or sit, but a line waiting for orders to be completed. So many people simply waiting for coffee/drinks. I wasn't greeted...hence my confusion. Wasn't sure where to wait on this line. After asking customers confusion subsided. The girl behind the counter wasn't friendly at all. I placed my order. Apple Pie latte, and rainbow cookie cake. And then I wasted....and waited some more. Definitely too long for a latte. Although both were tasty, I wouldn't wait that long again. I understand this is a new location, but it isn't a new establishment. They need to get a better system in place. read more

When I found out the Bellmore Bean was closing in 2020 I was near inconsolable as that café had served as a meeting point, workspace and community center for me for a few years, not to mention incredible coffee and tea (with offerings of beer and wine). Then news came of local franchise Soul Brew making a new home in the iconic location. I've never been to a Soul Brew but after seeing their good vibes across social media I knew I would be happy to welcome them. I visited the first Saturday they were open (they officially opened the Tuesday earlier in the week) and the line was out the door. Not hard to happen with social distancing and it being a small place. Once inside, I was happy to see a lot of the same charm was kept. The iconic piano on the wall remained and was given a new artistic paint job. There is gorgeous artwork all over. When it was my turn to order, I kept it really simple, a sugar free raspberry and vanilla latte with almond milk. Tasted as Good as one ordering sugar free can expect lol They look to have a full food menu too. I don't know if they have a wine and beer menu like the Bellmore Bean before them did, but I hope if they do not have one currently, they consider it for the future read more

I've been here quite a few times now and honestly every single time the worker at the cashier is pretty rude and rushes me to order. Also, being an Instagram influencer, I wanted to try the Cosmic brownie latte and post about it since it looked so great in their own photos. He barrels in the door like he's late for his shift , except he doesn't work there (don't tell him that, he will cry) as soon as he walks in everyone stops what their doing to say hi and tell him how amazing and handsome he is.
