Service is quick, staff is friendly, clean inside and overall the atmosphere provides for a chill hangout. A number of groups and people sitting inside, chatting, and just enjoying each other's company. It was very nice, and even the people there customer wise were welcoming!

Solar Power - espresso, tonic, blackberry syrup and lemon

Fantastic coffee shop with unique offerings and friendly staff! It has your traditional coffee shop vibe with a good amount of seating inside as well as out on their back patio. They roast their own beans so you can purchase a bag or enjoy them in one of their drinks. Since it was June when I visited, they had a Pride themed specialty drink menu. I went out of my comfort zone and ordered the Solar Power - espresso, tonic, blackberry syrup and lemon. I've never had anything like it and it was fantastic! So refreshing and there was zero bitterness that espresso sometimes has. I'm so glad I tried it! Overall, they offered all the classics and had some nice specialty menu items too. They also had baked goods. Definitely a must stop if you're in the area!

Extra dry cappuccino, with cinnamon to perfection.

What a pleasant atmosphere. Has the Starbucks clientele without the dark and dreary decor. My cappuccino was made to perfection and they offered a variety of small pastries I can't wait to go back and try. The pastries were appropriately proportioned (not overwhelmingly large) but small treat with your coffee, rather than the calories of a whole meal. Much appreciated. Service was quick even in a packed house. Flux coffee was a gratifying surprise on what is a deceiving, out of date Main Street.

This was my first time ever at Flux Coffee and I was blown away. I found them by using my own favorite combo of keywords when searching for a coffee to patronize and also do work from, which are "coffee shop laptop outlets." The awesome reviews from fellow Yelpers totally steered me in the right direction. The space is simply huge! There was such a variety of different seating and counter/table height options. I sat down at one of the many tables that had several outlets for working from your laptop or charging your phone. I really enjoyed my drip coffee and also the coconut banana bread cookie. There was a ton of cool merch too, so plenty of ways to support this really cool local business.

Cute little coffee spot with indoor and outdoor seating (out back). I was a bit disappointed with my $10 matcha latte special which probably had about 4 oz of liquid and the rest was the included "whip". I was excited about the ube combo with the matcha flavor wise but just felt like a two sip lack luster experience :( I was it intrigued by lots of the menu options including cool seasonal syrups so I'd try again!

Okay--picture this--true story: I get on a Red Eye at 11:30 pm in Los Angeles, CA non-stop to Newark, New Jersey. Plane lands at 7 AM and I did not get a wink of sleep. I rent a car and drive to the Bronx, NY to pick up my niece at 10 AM. I have to conduct an outside ceremony at a Cemetery in Farmingdale, Long Island at 2 PM in 34 degree weather. I am exhausted! What do you do? You open the YELP App and discover that the solution to this is to go into a State of FLUX! We drive over to FLUX in the monster SUV AVIS gave me (I rented a compact but they did not have any at the airport.) Got a lucky street space right in front. Run in from the cold and the owner brews up a fresh pot of dark roast and gives me an extra 1/3 cup of the left over from the prior batch to get started because he sees I am about to drop. 1/3 cup old and 1/2 cup from the new batch later--I am as awake and alert as an 8 hour sleeper. We stop at IHOP for Omelets and Pancakes and then off to the Cemetery. My orchestration of the ceremony went off genius--better than I expected. Impressed everyone. The coffee wired me up for two other key great stops ending my night in Nanuet, Rockland County at 10 PM--the first time getting to bed after being up for more than 36 hours with no sleep. I will definitely get into a state of FLUX my next time in Farmingdale.

Very cute coffee place, lots of options and a lot of seating inside. It looks small from the outside but it's very roomy, lots of people were working on laptops and stuff so it seems like a good place for that. there was a little pastry window but they were sold out by the time we got there around 2:30 so it may be a better selection the earlier you arrive. overall very nice place.

Attractive latte art and good accent of mocha with my latte; vibrant and lively decor.

Saturday morning bustling, but still chill vibe. There was a line but it went pretty quick. Staff is polite and efficient. Most importantly, the code is excellent.

Arrived about 230pm. The place was almost full but a table was available . We ordered coffee and a latte. I like that the latte was not overly sweet and I could taste the coffee. Decor was cute , there is parking on the back. The only issue was that was not one pastry or muffin or cookie to go with the coffee. There was a sign in the display as if they did offer something but it was empty. Service was quick and we were able to enjoy our coffee

I loved how clean Flux Coffee is behind the counter. Of course, the tables were clean as well and I noticed that the staff is always cleaning. They are incredibly friendly as well. This is what we ordered: Dirty Chai - it was delicious but could be stronger Vanilla latte - my friend said it was delicious Americano - my friend it was good Iced latte - it was delicious I'll be honest.. I enjoy strong coffee so if you're like me, I don't think this place is for you. The reason why I gave Flux 5 stars is because of the staff and it's a very clean cafe. I was very surprised how clean the restroom is and ladies...? they do have feminine hygiene products and I've never seen that before! You can find parking in the front and in the back. They have outlets where you can charge your phone, tablet, laptop (there were a lot of students...studying). There were a few dogs so I guess your furry friends are welcomed!

Got a lavender latte today and it was done quickly and tasted very well! Service was nice and the vibe was peaceful. Would recommend!

I stopped by on a Sunday around 2:00pm. There are two drive-through lanes and there were cars in both. The menu consists of iced tea/lemonade, coffee, specialty lattes, dirty sodas, and water. I pulled up to the drive-through window and ordered the Lucky Charmed Latte with the staff member. My husband ordered a hazelnut mocha iced latte. The drinks didn't take long to be prepared and were very yummy. I really liked the addition of Lucky Charms marshmallows and whipped cream on top of the latte. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but the latte had a good ratio of espresso and milk and it was very good. I definitely want to be back to The Barn in Merrick to try other drinks!
