This local coffee shop hit all the red flags for me: Over $10 per latte for a double shot Whole $1 extra for oat milk (it's 2026, oat and cow milk are about the same price, maybe a slight upcharge but $1?) No espresso shot difference between their small and medium lattes aka you're paying for another 4 ounces of milk and not anymore espresso They only serve their specialty lattes in a medium, so you're forced to pay extra for a milked down latte, once again it's wild that upgrading from small to medium means more milk but not more espresso and you have no choice. The customer service was honestly one of the best. When there was a delay on our bagel order the employees made sure to check in to update us. It was well worth the wait as the bagel was fresh and one of the best we had in the area. My son enjoyed their cookie as well as their turkey bacon ranch sandwich. The iced latte hit too. Obsessed with this coffee shop!!! Recently bought a house near the area and I couldn't have been luckier to have this coffee shop nearby. I would definitely recommend to try their lattes, shakes, matchas, homemade nutribomb and their delicious paninis. All are done with clean ingredients, organic and gluten free. Right now an absolute favorite is their banana caramelized latte. Wow PLEASE give it a try! They do bring seasonal lattes as well which makes it always even better. Follow their instagram page for their latest flavors.I also love their motivational quotes on their lids shows the love and appreciation they give their clients. The paninis- absolutely love them. Talk about an upgrade for the neighborhood... As a local to the area, I've been wanting to try this spot for some time. I walked in and was literally in heaven by the ambiance and friendly vibes! My friend and I came here for lunch and so happy we did. Lots of amazing options to choose from. We both were interested in 2 different turkey sandwiches so the manager suggested to split up 2 sandwiches on separate plates so we could each have a half--- genius! I got a strawberry matcha latte with oat milk and my friend got one of their summer specials, coconut cold foam cold brew. She gave it 2 thumbs up and said it was MUCH better than the big coffee brand down the street! My strawberry matcha was chefs kiss... I should've gotten the large. The sandwiches came out warm and were delicious with LOTS of greens. We ended the meal with an amazingly soft and not too sweet chocolate chip cookie. Such a cute spot! We came here early on Saturday morning and ordered a smoothie, cookie, turkey arugula panini, and the caramelized banana coffee. The caramelized banana coffee was absolutely delicious!!!! It tastes like actual banana (and maybe it is because everything is freshly made), actually everything that we tried was delicious though. The turkey panini tasted fresh and delicious, and they also make whipped cream in house. All of the girls working there were extremely friendly and helpful as well. For anyone who tries to be a bit more health conscious like myself, I really wish there was more places like this. An adorable, clean cafe right off of Wantagh Ave just north of the S State on the east side. In a little recessed strip that has easy in & out parking. A great selection of specialty lattes, baked goods and paninis. Calm, peaceful seating. The most $$ we have paid for the lattes, a med butter cookie with cold foam was like 8 dollars, and a very nice sourdough bagel with homemade maple butter was a whopping 10..however, it is not inexpensive to run a business and I am happy to see them thrive. I originally visited this shop because of the high ratings and wanted to feature it on my TikTok review page. I'll be honest, the coffee and food were good and the handwritten notes are a nice touch. However, the experience after my visit has completely changed my perspective on this business. I posted an honest breakdown of the value for my audience, pointing out that a latte and a bagel swap (due to them being out of sourdough) came to $29.33. Instead of taking the feedback professionally, the owner has spent making videos mocking "cheap" customers (which are now deleted) , and even using fake accounts to bypass blocks and using her friends to write on my comment section with "friendly" fake reviews. As a creator I value authenticity! I cannot in good conscience recommend a place that mocks its customers for questioning a $10.00 latte. People work HARD for their money and spending an hour's wage on a coffee shouldn't result in being insulted by the owner!!! Its very unprofessional! read more
