2nd time coming back to this gluten-free/nut-free/dairy-free bakery in Plainview, NY, Long Island. So worth the trip, but yet so dangerous for us. They have so many choices, and they ACTUALLY have gluten-free onion bagels, and they're ACTUALLY good. 1st time being there. We sat down for brunch. No table service. Have to order from the counter. - My fiancé's got an onion bagel egg sandwich with pesto and a single pancake. - Vegan chicken with waffles and a side of fries. Brought home some goodies as well. 2x Focaccia Bread [so good] perfect for mini sliders 3x Onion Bagels Tiramisu bar 2nd time being there. Ordered 3x onion bagels. Yes it's that good we came back for more Cinnamon Sugar Bagel Chicken pot pie Chocolate cigar. To dry 3x Soft Pretzels Challah Bread Banana chocolate bread. Sooo freaky delicious It's a little bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it. Definitely going back.

Food delicious as usual!!! The service is always above and beyond. The location def makes you feel at home. My family loves it. So happy to found a gluten/diary/nut free bakery/restaurant

Came in here with my lil cuz who is living a gluten free life! They had a great selection of breads and cakes and other sweet treats. We got their chocolate dipped Oreos which were her fav but the cinnamon crumb cake was amazing so so good and I highly recommend.

"Bare Naked" is a very misleading name This sourdough bread is highly processed as it contains dimethyl silicone, sorbitan, triethyl citrate, corn syrup, soy lecithin and other unnatural ingredients Beware and read what you're really buying

Can't rave enough about this place ! The staff is always kind and helpful, the food is safe and delicious, but I didn't know how amazing their cake skills were ! We got an anniversary cake made for my parents 50th. First- it was huge ! One of the staff brought it to my car for me which was really nice. Second - it was beautiful and delicious. I'm so thankful for this bakery.

Although they seem to still be getting their footing, Bare Naked Bakery is really a great spot to try for anyone with vegan or gluten free restrictions. The food is surprisingly good and the fact that there are SO many options is a huge plus. The same woman has been working the counter every time I've gone and she's been very helpful when customers are unsure about their choices. The restaurant itself is okay for sitting down but this is definitely more grab and go. The prices are pretty high, but I've come to expect that for vegan food. So all in all, this is more of a splurge for me.

I came in here because I wanted to compare it to the location in Bellmore which I go to more often. I was delighted to learn that the bagels are vegan because I've been gluten free for a long time due to having a sensitivity to it but recently I also decided to go vegan. I got the breakfast burrito with tofu. It was pretty good, on the small side but still really good and filling. I like both of the Bare Naked locations and appreciate visiting them once in awhile.

A tad overpriced but ok for what you get. Little black and white cookies are a good flavor and chewy texture but probably because they are gluten free (still good). The mousse cake was not good. Too little mousse and too much cake. Chocolate cigar, on the other hand, is fantastic. Kid working the counter was helpful and nice. I'd return. Nice selection.

I was in the area, I wanted the Mexican spot next door for lunch but they were closed. I came into here and was super surprised about what was available to eat, I thought it was just bakery stuff. I had a chicken gyro and it was amazing! The place has amazing lighting and customer service! Delicious cakes and treats, definitely check them out!

She even said the employee kept the meal for 6 and the meal for 4 separate. The cover for the tray with fries was poked with holes so that it wouldn't get soggy. Talk about a simple afterthought! The meals came with with different types of kabobs (2 different chicken ones, and two different beef ones), Chicken Shawarma, Israeli salad, hummus, fries, babaghanoush, two different kinds of rice and pita bread. We also had falafel. Let me tell you....everything was so delicious. I wasn't even hungry after my first plate but I still helped myself to more. Everyone in my family throughly enjoyed. It's an unassuming storefront that's connected to a barber shop and although it's located at a pretty busy intersection, it's easy to miss (as far as I'm concerned). So I tried "keplach soup" for the first time and it was enjoyable. I didn't even know what keplach was until I googled it while looking at the menu. If you're not aware it's similar to a perogies, or a ravioli or a wonton (you get my point). The dough however is a little thicker and it's cooked in the consomme broth. It wasn't the most flavorful soup I've ever tried, but it was good nevertheless. The potato pancake, although fried, was a lot lighter than I thought it was going to be. Nice crunch with good potato flavor. The pastrami Reuben on a club roll was very satisfying. I usually order it on rye bread but was in the mood to have it on a roll today. It held up well and didn't fall apart or get mushy like rye bread usually does. Pastrami was sliced thin and had a nice (but mild) flavor. Decent sized sandwich and prices are on par with all the other kosher delis in Long Island. Service was fast and friendly. They had plenty of other tasty looking items in the display case as soon as you walk in. Maybe next time I'll try something different (again). It wasn't outstanding (3.5 stars), but it was a good meal and it warrants a return visit.

I especially appreciate that they have multiple kinds of decaf iced coffee, which is difficult to find. Come for the bagels, but sample the other foods and grab some prepared stuff to go. There is also a big wall of drinks and takeout pre-made dishes. Bagel Boss is in a shopping center with ample parking, and it's near some other little shops (Staples, Five Below, a farmer grocery) if you need to run a few errands. Note that the restaurant is kosher and does not allow outside food/drink. There is a small seating area in the back, but Bagel Boss is more of a takeout place in my opinion. Well, I called yesterday and I spoke to Marisol who could not have been nicer and more accommodating. She asked me all the right questions and we put together a nice order to be delivered today. He found my order and so nicely made my changes. Then I called and spoke to Terry who very kindly confirmed everything. Finally, Marisol called with the final price. I felt so badly about all my phone calls but everyone could not have been sweeter. And Marisol told me that she personally decorated the note card with balloons and a heart! Most importantly, my sister called and she was thrilled. Fortunately I ordered the right food and she even sent me a picture of the delivery.
