I came here end of October 2021. I actually didn't know about this bakery (it's located inside the H-Mart) and I go to the H-Mart all the time! My brother and I were actually buying some Korean dishes at the spot right next to it for our mother's birthday and we also wanted to get a cake. I looked up bakeries in the area and this bakery showed up so we just walked on over to take a look at the selection. The cakes actually looked pretty good with a good variety of flavors but there wasn't much left (looked like a lot was sold). They also have a refrigerated section of Asian drinks and also individual baked goods in addition to the cakes. We ended up getting a Blueberry Fresh cake ($29.99) that had blueberry fresh cream, white sponge and blueberry. It looked very pretty and honestly tasted very good! It wasn't overly sweet and heavy which was what we liked about it. Everything in general was a little pricier than what I'd like but it's definitely more convenient to get a cake in Hicksville than to drive all the way to Queens for something similar. Most recently, I purchased the ube cream donut ($3.95), matcha cream donut ($3.95), brown sugar bubble tea ($6.00), and milk tea bubble tea ($6.00). In the past, I've also purchased milk pan bread ($5.95), sausage roll bread ($4.25), taro milk tea ($6.00). I really enjoy their baked goods and think they are better than their drinks. Their drinks are okay and I more get it for convenience. The prices are reasonable. I am looking forward to trying one of their fresh cream cakes. Loved it! Yes, venture into the Korean market for a wonderful little French themed bakery. You can get typical European pastries and pastries filled with things like red bean paste and vegetables. I personally love finding unique and different items. The bakery is sectioned off in the front of the store and there's more of the same items in the back right of the store. read more

Nice bakery conveniently located in H-mart. they have fresh bread, pastries and cakes. Come here mostly for cakes when there is an occasion to celebrate and need to pick up a cake quick. They do have a variety of fresh cream cakes if you come early and not wait until the end of the day. Staff helps to answer any questions you have have on the cakes. The cream and cakes are light and fresh. Comparable taste to the other know korean bakeries. Glad this is convenient to pick up. Have tried several of their fresh cream cakes and all good. Fruit may be tart at times depending on the season. Cake prices are going up these days all around.. read more

there are such beautiful desserts inside of the displays, I stood there for several minutes mentally considering what I would get - it was a tough decision! ultimately, i got the choco shell bread which was decadent - such a rich chocolate flavor (as someone who is not a huge fan of chocolate, this was actually quite impressive). i also ordered the pizza bread which was such an interesting combination of sweet and savory- love the concept and execution! this café is located within the H-Mart and is quiet, clean, and modern in its appearance. Whoa - FOUR different flavoured castella?! Sign me up. Strawberry, green tea, chocolate, and mocha castella were all on FIRE, and their tiramisu was perfectly enjoyable. The pack of mini pain au chocolat was also delicious with the perfect proportion of filing to pastry, which makes me want to go back and try a whole bunch of other stuff they have. By the time we got there in the late afternoon, more than half of the fresh baked goods were sold out. They're inside one of the best H Marts I know of, so there's a bonus point for that. read more

It's a Korean bakery inside HMart and it's not big but has freshly baked bread each day, cakes, and boba tea. Friendly and courteous service, and the baked goods look great and taste wonderful. There are not much selections being that the place is not big, but less to choose from saves the headache. We got a strawberry cream cake for the husband's birthday and it was not super sugary, very light, smooth, and had a nice delicate texture. The cakes are on the pricier side (partially due to the pandemic), but we like they have individual cake cups or slices to sample. Oh and they do NOT allow writing on the cakes.. They make it known on the display. They do give a plastic knife, candles, and a happy birthday sign with every cake purchase. Everything pretty much accommodates our Asian palate! read more

I'm guessing the reason there are so few reviews of this bakery is because it's inside of the H-mart in Jericho. So, I have to say this is one of the best under-the-radar bakeries I've been to. The cakes they have are generally not overly sweet and you can tell a lot of care goes into making each desert. Personally, I'm a huge fan of their lemon coconut cake . It was around $26 and maybe 8 inches ? The cream is very smooth and works well with the coconut. The lemon isn't over powering and has just the right amount of coconut for my taste. Had a chance to grocery shop in Jericho and we came down to HMart. As soon as you enter, this little cafe is located right next to the entrance. For the convenience, we grabbed couple loaves of bread and desserts. They emphasized that their bread is freshly made everyday. Once I tried the bread, I can definitely see and taste the freshness. They have pretty solid quality given that there are Korean franchised bakeries around the neighborhood (tous les jours and paris baguette) We are definitely gonna try their other breads too Liked: Freshness of the bread loaves Osulloc Tea!!! (Premium tea brand from Jeju island, South Korea. You wouldnt find these in any Korean local cafe) Didnt liked: Due to covid-19, all of their pastries are wrapped in plastic bag. It traps the moisture and makes pastries feel like little less fresh although I saw them coming out from the baking racks. The presentation is very elegant and even came in a nice box with a plastic cake cutter and candles. The cream was fluffy, the cake was very soft and the fruits were fresh. The cake was really cute and delicious. But the service was really horrible and not helpful at all , there is one guy that not wearing the uniform had a horrible attitude and I'm not sure he is manager or owner . Because he not even try to ask his coworkers first and just give me a attitude like I don't care . So I pay for 31.99 for cake which cost 19.99 . I ordered a strawberry shortcake cake for my party days ahead of time and was told to come pick it up on a Sunday morning. The party was Sunday evening and when I arrived I was told that they took down my order but never bothered to make the cake and didn't have any available in the size and flavor I needed. They even showed me the paper on which they wrote down my order and asked if I wanted another flavor instead. OMG! Brought a birthday cake for the first time from this bakery. It was light and delicious. My daughters always look at the cakes and for their birthdays I never considered buy from this place which is in the supermarket. My daughters don't really like cake so I hadn't brought one for their birthday that past and so while in the supermarket they wanted to try one of these cakes and so I brought one. When we got home and proceed to eat the cake- I thought it wasn't going to be that good. The cakes are beautiful and in my experiences beautiful cakes- the icing is usually no flavor just sweet and the decorations like fruit also taste like cardboard. Most cakes are overpowered by icing and that's why they don't like cake. This was not the case for this cake! The fresh fruit was -fresh and the icing - on my! The icing was whipped cream that was so light and not too sugary. The quality of ingredients and the simplicity of this cake made it 10 out of 10 for me. Had their matcha fruit cake and OMG absolutely delish! I usually don't eat the frosting on a cake but their frosting was soooo good. Not overbearingly sweet but just the right amount of sweetness. It was so good that I wanted to eat all the frosting off the cake lol the cake itself also had the perfect amount of sweetness and was super soft and moist and the fruit were fresh and sweet ask well.
