To start, they "brownies" are not actual brownies. They are individual slices of cake. I didn't notice this 2 years ago but having it again last night, the Cadbury brownie tastes like a layered sheet cake made from box mix. The frosting on top wasn't too sweet, but certainly doesn't carry the richness of Cadbury chocolate. In a slice this simple, there's really no place to hide and paying that much for something that taste like it was battered out a box is not worth it in my opinion. The Dubai chocolate slice tasted better, but tbh, the Dubai chocolate cake from Costco not only tastes better but has a better price point! I was really excited to try their ice cream - I loved their flavor choices, but that's where my fondness pretty much stopped. The pints were pricey and taste super home made (not in a good way). The ice cream was hard and while it tasted like sweet cream, it was definitely not churned enough to carry a smooth texture. They pints were Van Leeuwen prices but the taste and texture was far from quality ice cream. In this case, I much rather pick up a pint of Hagen Daz, again much better price point and better quantity. The store is pretty but I won't be returning.

Icecream frozen ice bars in small freezer with a mix of flavors including pistachio and strawberry. Small heat oven with a selection of Aloo Puff potato ,vegetable and others. Individual pound cakes , tutu fruity, walnut, date and plain. 7.99 for the plain one I purchased. It is soft and fresh as is the cake slice of German Black Forest. There also was a table of coconut cookies in plastic containers, a coffee pot on the counter and a few small tables to sit at. They use nondegradable styrofoam containers to throw away in the garbage can , to serve , instead of paper plates or cardboard ones.

They also have a refrigerated section of Asian drinks and also individual baked goods in addition to the cakes. We ended up getting a Blueberry Fresh cake ($29.99) that had blueberry fresh cream, white sponge and blueberry. It looked very pretty and honestly tasted very good! It wasn't overly sweet and heavy which was what we liked about it. Everything in general was a little pricier than what I'd like but it's definitely more convenient to get a cake in Hicksville than to drive all the way to Queens for something similar. Another plus is the huge parking lot and there are always spots available.

Instead, it almost tasted like carob or some sort of diluted chocolate instead. The cookies itself were also not buttery enough, though they did taste freshly baked. The staff assured us it would arrive early, around 11:00 a.m. However, by 1:00 p.m. on our wedding day, the cake still hadn't arrived. When we called the bakery, they told us they couldn't get in touch with the driver. It took another hour before they realized the driver never had the cake and that it had been left at the bakery the entire time. At that point, it was around 2:30 p.m. Not only was this incredibly frustrating, but it also caused unnecessary stress on our wedding day--something no couple should have to deal with. Unfortunately, we had to pick up the wedding cake ourselves. Since then, we've spent the past week trying to get in contact with someone to address what happened, with no success. I asked for the owner's phone number and left a voicemail two days ago, but still haven't received any response. Overall, this was a VERY disappointing experience. I would NOT recommend anyone to order from this bakery.

They email people constantly. telling them to come to the interview and training. they have this "chef" doing demos and live demonstrations about how things are done. you waste 4 hrs there. you do what she tells you to do in the kitchen, the interviewer call everyone out one by one. you dont get called back. what is the catch? when you first arrive, they take your picture, and your social and state ID. why? for state/government funding. just like workforece 1. they book all these people, with hopes of getting a job or a training for the job, then you are booted out. Its a scam. if you mistakenly applied for anything that says; hotbread, ignore the ongoing emails. its a scam to keep getting funded. they dont care about you. its a waste of time!

Jamie a pleasant young lady, was working there. She was please to see that first review from Kimarley L. as I shared with her and it made her day. She shared information with me that Sandy is the person she works for and rents out the space for this Cupcake counter. The cupcakes are baked with the same ingredients that are used for the other baked goods at Franchescos Bakery. They do serve coffees and have a variety of cupcakes along with packs for 4. I got two beignets today, a whipcream and strawberry and a custard one. I ate into the one and found while there is a fresh strawberry on top the inside is gloppy with more like jelly strawberries inside. The whip cream is hard and not fluffy. Have not tried the other one yet. Perhaps other types will be better. Something else to note , the windows need shades or blinds. When the sun comes in everything in there gets hot . The credit card machine ( at 4% ) paper cost is very hard to see in the bright morning light. An update today, got my complementary cup cake today from many sport themed choices. I chose the baseball. I noticed and noted cupcakes in the bakery window. Jamie noted that theirs are medium-size not with filling and they a select amount of character cupcakes as well. Where's as the Get Baked ones have filling and are the large size.
