I stumbled into one of these Paris Baguette stores in Melville. Then I came upon it again, visiting an urgent care in the same parking lot in Plainview. Soooo because I loved the one in Melville I said let me give this one a try. In the meantime my buddy JD from from Cali had informed me I need to try their egg salad sandwich. I told him I'm not really an egg salad sandwich girl. To which he replied, "Hear me out. Just try this egg salad. You won't regret it!" So I promised him when I got the urge I would go back to this Paris baguette spot and try their egg salad sandwich. Long story long. I am now a lover of Paris Baguette egg salad sandwiches! Paris Baguette offered an exceptional selection of gourmet items that I was able to create a tasteful, elevated display. I love the small details they include such as the small chocolate placed in the center of the waffles pastry. I've been to this Paris Baguette location a few times now, and it's become one of my go-to spots for a quick breakfast or sweet treat in Plainview. The bakery is bright, clean, and always smells amazing as soon as you walk in. freshly baked goods everywhere! The pastries are consistently delicious. I really enjoy the croissant hot dogs. They have a bunch of variations of them and each one is unique. I usually crush 2 or 3 whenever I go. My kids enjoy the chocolate bears they have. They must get one each time. They also like the mochi donuts. They're a fun twist on traditional donuts, made with chewy mochi dough that gives them a bouncy, satisfying texture. They are light, not too heavy, and perfect if you're craving something a bit different from the usual fried donuts. There's plenty of seats and overall it is very spacious. The pastries are a bit overpriced but all look delicious and are! The cakes are definitely overpriced. I like the lightness/airiness/not too sweet of Asian cakes (usually chiffon cake with an airy whipped cream). But $50 for a cake this size and light is robbery. They do however give you the candles and serving knife. Presentation is 5/5 but still! Also to mention, they have terrible iced coffee. I tried twice. Walked in with my co workers as a first time experience. The place is very well kept and the associates were really nice. They have an array of treats and delights on display, it almost reminded me of a jewelry store the way it was set up in there. We spent a few minutes trying to decide what we wanted. I wound up deciding on a sandwich and a NY style cheesecake. The sandwich wasn't bad but the cheesecake tasted a little funny. This is a coffee and pastries shop in a shopping mall and they have great coffee and sweets. Sweets but not overly sweet side and that is good for afternoon or after meals, and their coffee is not bitter or burnt aroma like the big coffee chain. Definitely spacious as one walks in to look and select pastries, cakes, sandwiches, drinks they wish to purchase and either dine in or take out. Cakes are nice and cream is light and not heavy. If you need a cake with writing, need to pre-order at least 2 days in advance for pickup. Mochi donuts are delicious and good to share, along with the pastries. They have seasonal specials and special promos for PB members who have signed up and use the app. PB reward members earn points with the app for every purchase so don't forget to scan. If it's summertime, I recommend you try their summer lemonades. It can be sweet but you can always ask for a cup of water so you can dilute it yourself. FINALLY!! I have been waiting for this bakery to come to Long Island, and they did not disappoint! First off, it is absolutely gorgeous inside. From the beautiful floor design to the signature blue tiles, everything about this screams classy, elegant, and clean. Every one of the staff were super kind in helping me with where each pastry was and providing me with information about this newly opened shop. I got their strawberry croissant, pain au chocolat, and almond croissant which were all amazing!! They were so flakey and had the perfect amount of sweet. My other favorites are also the sticky milk bread, egg tart, mochi donuts, and the coffee danish. You have to try their coffee/lattes, and they also make superb sandwiches as well. I love their turkey club sandwich, it's my go-to lunch meal! Oh, and you can't miss out on the cakes. They are the star of the show. If you don't feel like getting a whole cake, try one of their piece cakes which is just a slice of their signature cakes -- the strawberry one is a classic and such a light tasty treat after your meal. Was passing by in shopping center and a sign for a new Fall item caught my eye. It was for a cake with butter crumb. I went in to this so said French bakery and met a Korean man and other servers. I asked about the cake and was told that "today is the first day we have it" . So I bought one. When he told me the price I thought he said 36.00 dollars. I thought wow that's a lot but ok let's try it. He asked me if it was for a birthday and I said No. I asked him to keep it in the refrigerator for a bit until I came out of ShopRite. I paid for it but didn't realize till later that it was 46.00. Now, it is a nice and very tasty cake of multi layers. But supper expensive for what it is. Probably one of the biggest Paris Baguette I've been to (no joke), super roomy- lots of seats, bright, fancy- like marble counter top fancy (omg love the floor tiles), and everything is clean and organized. To get your food, take a tray on the side, place parchment paper on top, grab a tong and go crazy (please don't use your hands, children I'm talking about you). Food wise, there's a wide variety of bread, pastry and other baked goods ranging from donuts to fruit tarts to croissant to bread to cake to croquettes and sandwiches. My favorites are definitely the croquettes (can be a little greasy), the mochi donuts and the hot dog bread! They also do drinks and my favorites are the peach ice tea and their house made coffee with milk. The staff are super helpful and friendly, the staff I spoke with (Megan) was super nice and told us all about the different baked goods and seasonal items they got and she even brought my drinks to my table for me cause I got too many bread haha woops. Price wise, we looking at at least $3.50+ per item, if you are like me (big eater) you probably need at least 2-3 items and a drink to fill your stomach but not too bad considering they are good quality and tasty. SuperFL mart, Hmart and 99 ranch have "breads" at a fair price and are not as pretentious. No point in downloading the app if the potential is that they won't honor rewards anyway. As far as donuts go these are amongst the best I have ever had. The coffee kronut was unbelievable and a top 3 of all time for me. The exterior is caramelized and crackly with a swirl of coffee cream on top and layers of flaky pastry stuffed with a thick coffee custard and a hint of sugar maple. The king cream donut was delightful. The jumbo twisted donut was like a French cruller on steroids.
